Come little children, I’ll take thee away.
Into a land of enchantment
Come little children, the times come to play
Here in my garden of shadows.
It’s cold. I shiver in my small bunk. My muscles ach, and that mes wound is really bothering me. I shift in my bed staring at the wall, where I scratched in small lines. Every line for a person’s life I’ve taken. Shadowa says I’m doing well, but I have to stop hesitating….like Delta. But I don’t want to, I see the way she looks when she completes a kill, her eyes turn silted and she gets a wide smirk. That look scares me; I don’t want to end up like that. Shut it, Brant! u need to do this! If u can’t kill, u GET killed. I sigh and try to get some sleep, the open window isn’t helping, but I really don’t want to wake up Angelica of Shadowa, they’ll probably make me do triple night ops as punishment for being up after lights out. I sigh again and throw my face into my pillow.

Follow sweet children.
I toon thee the way
Through all the pain and the sorrow
Weep not poor children, for the world is this way.
Murdering beauty and passion.
I blink the sleepiness out of my eyes, my vision slices through the dark room. Moonlight spills through the open window, I see a figure walking soundlessly across the floor, a hand outstretched. I immediately can see it’s Delta, she had a calm smile on her face. I had never seen her so at peace, but I realize why. Outside the window there is…..something. The figure is outlined door the moon. As I peer I can see what it is…..a skeletal figure of a person. It was just bones covered in a ragged dress, long batlike wings stretch from its back. Though its voice is sweet and lulling, but the body has a haunting aura. It hits me..it’s a shadow demon, just like me and Shadowa, just different…and Delta was walking straight at it. Could see not see what it was? Apparently not, her face still had its calm stare, her pale face was washed in the moonlight and her bright blue eyes were blank. I launch myself off my bunk, my feet twisting at a painful angle as I land, but I ignore it and try to tackle Delta. But the moment my hand connects with her shoulder, my vision changes. There was no skeletal figure but instead a welcoming woman, her smile was warm and motherly, her hands were becoming and outstretched. Her mouth was open as she sung softly, her voice warm and sweet, I try to pull away but the meer I do the meer pointless it becomes. Why? Why am I doing this? Because I saw someone like me? A demon? How do I know this person isn’t good? How do I know she isn’t here to save us from the Lone Wolves? Why do I always resist so much? Is it so hard to trust? May be it’s time to believe what I see.

Hush now sweet children
For it must be this way so be weary of life and deception
Rest now my children for soon we’ll away.
Into the calm and the quiet
Bran’s eyes slowly closed letting he float into the air, leaving the darkness behind him. Though as he felt air caress his face he opened them, he saw others. meer kids like him, they were levitating, the air felt solid beneath them, gliding over it gently, without a single bump. The others were grinning of even laughing, he heard a giggle in front of him. Delta had a ecstatic look on her face, twisting as she flew, a look of pure bliss. He grinned too as he looked at the person leading the group the woman had large white feather wings, she looked behind herself and gave a wide smile to Brant, which he gladly returned. She looked vooruit, voorwaarts again, and gilded them through twists and turns as the ventured out into the light. They continued their grins and laughter, unbeknownst to the real darkness that they were being brought into.
Ahhhh Ahhhhh Ahhhh
Come little children, I’ll take thee away
Into a land of enchantment
Come little children the time’s come to play
Into my garden of shaaaa-dows.
