Kori made her way across the room, stopping to stare at the screen that Nightwing stood in front of. A red hooded figure ran across the screen, the image playing over and over again as if he was searching for something. She ran over and ducked under his arms before popping up. "Is that Jason Todd?" Dick moved back a few steps at the sudden outburst. He quickly grabbed Kori door the waist and flipped the monitor off, sighing out in relief when she groaned. "Dick!" Kori drug out his name and then crossed her arms, pouting before looking back at the screen. "I will not be responsible for fueling your obs- What did u say?" Her eyes widened when she realized the name had slipped from her lips. Of course she knew who it was, she was from the future, and she hacked Bruce's computer 25% of the time, and found out the identity. "Nothing." Kori cocked her hip out to the side, looking at her uncle. "Keeping secrets?" He rose an eyebrow, shutting the computer down before grinning at her. "Like u haven't.." The girl scoffed and picked up her backpack, sliding it on. "Can I borrow some of your rip off batarangs?" She asked, walking back closer to the male. He only frowned, crossing his arms. "Why?" Kori rocked on her feet, locking eyes with the taller male. Nightwing narrowed his eyes, leaning close to her. "N-o." He spelled out, leaning up and moving away from Kori. She stood silently as Nightwing made his way towards the exit, slowly lurking behind him. Kori ran past her uncle, snatching a few of the wing-dings before darting out and into the sky before he could catch her.
Kori closed her eyes as she flew, sighing out. "Where are you..?" She scanned the city, one wing-ding resting in her hand. After a few minuten of staring at it and then winced, clasping her hand over the wounded eye. Her flight faltered and she soared downward, skidding along the rooftop. "Get up the voice murmured, the sound clear enough that it could've been standing beside her. Kori shook her head and she reached to her side, clutching the weapon that lied in its sheath. The girl slowly got to her feet and stumbled over to the rooftop, pulling at the bandage. "Target's close.. let me have full control." the voice whispered again and Kori shook her head, hissing at the laughter that came after. "C'mon~ that angelic blood of yours makes it so.. easy.. Kori reached into the riem and cocked the pistol, shivering at the cold metal that pressed against her temple. "I'll take us both out." The action was short lived however at the searing pain that shot through her eye. "Let's not forget who chose who, my dear." the voice laughed as Kori crouched down from the pain. "You chose one of the most powerful weapons in the Black Demon series," Kori squeezed her eyes shut at the vision as the voice took form, a short girl with blood red eyes and long dark hair. "Not surprising considering your blood line." she quietly twirled her hair as Kori glared in silence. "We have a job to do." Kori turned and opened her eyes, the image fading away like smoke. Kori stepped to the edge of the roof and knelt down, her eye instantly locking on the figure in the alleyway. "Asuramaru." She zei plainly, a quiet giggle coming from the demon. "Lend me your power." Kori stood and unsheathed the dagger, her thumb running across the sharpened edge. She hardly flinched at the sting, watching at her red blood spilt down the blackened blade. "With pleasure, my dear." Asuramaru whispered and Kori closed her eyes, her hand tightening on the handle. She opened them quickly, her one blue eye a deep shade of red.
