she's Spock's girlfriend. No matter what she will do people will always find new excuses to criticize her (and I hate their faux feminism)

it's a mix of hating her for taking Bones supporting place and/or Kirk's "place" with Spock... that's when I think bad things surface... Hidden things like sexism you didn’t even know you had in yourself. All because some people want to make rational arguments for something irrational as taste. They want to find arguments that say “what I like is better, so it should be as I like”. It’s insane, because there’s nothing wrong with the character, from an objective point of view (meaning: someone who didn’t watch TOS)

true, but most of those people never cared about Bones losing his place in the trio when it happened in the prime universe (as the original triad became a duo with K/S see the other movies) call me cynical but some of them are using him as yet another excuse but they don't really care about the trio as much as they care about the DUO.

But again, from an objective point of view there’s nothing wrong with the character. She’s not bitchy, unprofessional, or whatever people like to accuse her of. You may not like her because she’s with Spock, that’s something else and has nothing to do with the character that is great and very well portrayed by Zoe Saldana.
