Recently, I held a countdown on the Best Disney Princess Soundtrack to see what Fanpop thought, and the results were king of suprising, and kind of not at the same time. A lot of people had different opinions, and it was fun to read what people wrote about why they like of dislike a soundtrack, and now the results are complete
10. The Princess and the Frog
This round was very close between this, Tangled, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. One minute, Snow White had the most votes, the volgende Tangled had the most votes, and the volgende Princess and the Frog had the most votes, and it went like this for the entire round. What people zei about all three soundtracks is that it has a few good songs, but the rest of the songs and the score were uninspiring, pointless, and bland. PATF got eliminated door literally 2% with Snow White and Tangled tied for seconde place, but PATF got the boot because a lot of people did not like the Jazz genre, and that a good amount of the songs and score are not memorable.
Comments
- of Tangled. PatF has some amazing songs with a lot of bad ones, while all of the Tangled songs are the same level of medium good. Plus, the lyrics in Tangled are meaningful and say something, while the songs in PatF are just stating wither the obvious of what has been zei already (Jessikaroo)
- I like the Jazz-vibe but I just prefer the others. Snow White's soundtrack to me is perfection. I just adore the songs and the score, especially the one at the end of the movie, it moves me to tears (Alexon31)
9. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
This round was very similar to the first round, as the elimination was very close, with the same films getting the same votes, and people saying that one of the two soundtracks were meaningless, bland, and forgetful, but Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs got eliminated door 3%, so probably got ousted door one vote. What people zei about this movie is that most of the songs are meaningless, and serve no purpose to the story, making the story dragging longer than necessary. A lot of people say that the songs are not memorable, which is very strange to me. Regardless, it got eliminated over Tangled.
Comments
- Yeah, I See the Light has become a populair duet cover. I love the Tangled soundtrack.Snow White's is okay but to be honest I cant remember how any song goes from that movie. They're forgettable to me. Not interesting (jainabieber7)
- I like this album, just the others are better (tiffany88)
8. Tangled
This round was not nearly as close as the first two were. From the start of the countdown, Tangled was in the lead. Sleeping Beauty was gaining stemmen around the middle, and was pretty close, but Tangled got meer stemmen later in the round. People have zei that this soundtrack is very unmemorable, uninspiring, and bland, and how it does not compare to the remaining soundtracks. They were also saying how it was nothing special. From the start, it was obvious that Tangled was going to leave this round, as it barely escaped elimination in the first two rounds, and was eliminated door 17%
Comments
- This soundtrack really can't compare to the rest of them, it just can't (Rhythmicmagic)
- Tangled is my favourite movie and Rapunzel is my favourite princess so this is so unbiased I'm proud of myself! All the others have classic songs that I just cant bring myself to vote for. I'm thinking of the soundtracks in terms of schoffel, hoe good the muziek really is, not my own biased ranking of them. These sort of things can get really biased. I personally LOVE the Tangled soundtrack, but it's just not as musically fantastic as the others (jainabieber7)
7. Cinderella
In this round, some people voted for Aladdin, some voted for Mulan, a decent amount voted for Sleeping Beauty, and a good amount voted for Cinderella, so the stemmen were kind of all over the place in this round. Cinderella got the boot because even though it has great songs, it does not compare as well as the remaining soundtracks and the scores in this movie are not very strong of memorable. This round is where the stemmen started to get a little harder. Cinderella got 37% of the total votes, and was the seconde classic movie eliminated.
Comments
- I like Once Upon a Dream better than A Dream is a Wish Your hart-, hart Makes. I know it's just one song but I sometimes make picks with the strong points. I'm not that into the other songs in Cinderella anyway (dimitri_is_hot)
- The songs in Cinderella are not as creative as the songs on the other soundtracks and don't feel as inspired (rhythmicmagic)
6. Sleeping Beauty
Sleeping Beauty was the only non-renaissance film in the countdown, and also with the fact that it does not have many songs, really put it at a disadvantage. Some people voted for Aladdin and Mulan, but about half of the stemmen went to Sleeping Beauty. People zei that the soundtrack does not have many songs, and it is not memorable as the others. Some thought this was biased against Sleeping Beauty because most if not all of us were children when watching the Renaissance films, so it wasn't fair. In the end, Sleeping Beauty took 47% of the votes.
Comments
- Out of what's left, this doesn't have many memorable songs. The only one I can think of is "Once Upon a Dream" (Flutey_Girl96)
- Nothing memorable ... (tiffany88)
5. Aladdin
door this point in the countdown, there were only renaissance films, and door the commentaren of the two vorige rounds, Aladdin was not going to last much longer. This round was really close to it's predecessor Beauty and the Beast. It was a constant debate about which one will be eliminated, and the loser kept on switching every few minutes, until Aladdin got the extra few votes. People zei that although it has a lot of memorable songs, the score is really weak compared to the other four, and some people say that "A Whole New World" is the only goos song in the entire soundtrack.
Comments
- It has a few great songs, but I feel that the score in Aladdin was weaker in comparison to the other films (Anjastt9)
- Aaaaand.. only the Renaissance films are left. WHat a surprise (NOT). (Swanpride)
4. Mulan
In this round, all four films got a fair share of votes, but Mulan always had a bit meer votes. People zei that the only outstanding song in the film was "Reflection", while the other films had meer than one outstanding song. A lot of people thought that the soundtrack was just OK and good at best compared to the other three. Even though it was a close round, Mulan received the most with 35% of the votes.
Comments
- I have to go with Mulan. I liked the score, I'll Make a Man Out of You, and Reflection but the rest of the songs are pretty bland in my opinion (Anjasst9)
- There is only one song in this movie (Reflection) that I really like. Afterward I would probably choose TLM, maybe Pocahontas: I definitely want BATB to win out of these four (AllegroGiocoso)
3. Pocahontas
This round was very close between Pocahontas and The Little Mermaid. People that voted for one of these films zei that only one of two songs are really memorable, btu have an amazing score. People zei that some of the songs were silly, uninspiring, and unnecessary, while some people zei that "Colors of the Wind" was too preachy for their taste, while all of the songs in The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast are there for a reason. In the end, Pocahontas got eliminated door 3%, making it to 3rd place.
Comments
- I totally totally agree with Swanpride and Mongoose09. Totally. Anyways the only song I like form Pocahontas is Colors of the Wind. None of the others are memorable to me. I love every song on TLM soundtrack, it's door far my favourite DP soundtrack (jainabieber7)
- All of them are amazing but in the others there's not a single song of score I didn't like. Pocahontas I love the score but I don't like the digging song (KataraLover)
2. The Little Mermaid
This round was not ezel close as I thought it would be, heck it wasn't really even close. From pretty much the beginning of the round, The Little Mermaid were gaining the majority of the votes, and even though Beauty and the Beast got some on the way as well, it was never in the lead to be seconde place. A lot of people liked both soundtracks, but some felt that Beauty and the Beast's was a bit stronger. Both had their fair share of good songs and scores, but The Little Mermaid got a bit too much stemmen to win the countdown.
Comments
- So hard to decide on this one. I love both films and both soundtracks, but BatB is just that little bit better IMO (Flutey_Girl96)
- I thought Pocahontas would make it to the top, boven 2. Actually, I like the songs in TLM better in general, but the globaal, algemene score of BatB is one of the best (dimitri_is_hot)
1. Beauty and the Beast
Even though Beauty and the Beast got it's fair share of stemmen in the final few rounds, it managed to stay on top. People zei that it does not have one bad song, and the globaal, algemene score is definitely one of the strongest to come out of Disney. There are so many songs to choose from, like "Belle", "Gaston", "Beauty and the Beast", and "Be Our Guest", which are one of the most well-known songs out of Disney. This soundtrack was deemed the Best Disney Princess Soundtrack"
Comments
- TLM has nice songs ("Under the Sea", "Kiss the Girl"), but they just can't compare to "Belle", "Be Our Guest", and "Beauty and the Beast". (BelleAnastasia)
- All the songs on Beauty and the Beast are beautiful and funny :) I especially love the score (BB2010)
10. The Princess and the Frog
9. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
8. Tangles
7. Cinderella
6. Sleeping Beauty
5. Aladdin
4. Mulan
3. Pocahontas
2. The Little Mermaid
1. Beauty and the Beast
Do u agree with this list? Probably not, but that's meer than okay. commentaar about that u think is wrong with the list, what is your favourite soundtrack, etc. This was door far the most fun countdown I ever did.

She is adorable and overrated! This poor orphaned little girl did not give up, even though she was kidnapped and forced to go down a scary black hole! She was kind to the mice, and had faith that they would help her! She was kind to Rufus, and instead of keeping the diamond for herself, she gave it to a museum! I would adopt her!
2. Wendy
Another adorable girl, who was brave! She was sweet to Tinkerbelle and the lost boys, even though they tried to kill her!
3. Little Elsa
Sweet and playful, and she was smart to know to call her parents when Ana was hurt!
4. Little Tiana
Good daughter and good friend!
5. Alice
Smart and imaginative! Sweet too!
Wow guys can u please all calm down? I deleted my account ages geleden because I wanted to focus on school and I just wasn't interested in Disney anymore.
But with the turn my life has taken, I've decided to return. I couldn't have my old gebruikersnaam back, so I just thought putting a dash in front of my name would suffice.
I just missed this place, and I'm already collapsing under stress and pressure. I never thought rejoining this community would be such a headache.
But seriously guys, calm down. It's actually me. Like, legitimately me. Look. Me.

Now in terms of Cinderella, it would be a little easier to make a TV series from her movie.
Premise:
The way I see it, there are two ways this series could go about: 1. It could take place before the events of movie, specifically, after Cinderella's father dies and the Tremaines take over. of it could take place after Cinderella goes to the ball, just so we can have Fairy Godmother as a regular character. Now personally, I'd prefer if the series took place right after Cindy's father passed away just to toon the early years of her life, but then again, having it take place after the ball as previously stated, would have Fairy Godmother as a regular and would add magic and spells to the mix.
