Princess Lineup (as of Dec. 2013)
Princess Lineup (as of Dec. 2013)
Hello, and welcome to my seconde article! I am ApplesauceDoctr, and today I shall discuss the redesigns of the Disney Princesses made earlier this year. There have been some major changes, including new hairstyles, new dresses, and of course, a ton of sparkles. How do their new designs stack up to their original DP designs? Let's find out!

I won't be evaluating these door how accurate the redesigns look to the actual character to the movie; this will evaluate how the redesign looks in comparison to the vorige DP design. If that doesn't make sense, let's just begin and you'll get the hang of it. ;D

Merida won't be included in this countdown because although she lacks much resemblance to her original character, she is a new addition and we have yet to see her DP character redesigned.

10. Cinderella
Cinderella's redesign was probably the most altered of all the princesses. Her hairstyle has changed - instead of that strange updo she had originally, it looks like a meer realistic bun and she has one loose strand of hair. Her dress has gone from a pale blue/light blue to a very BRIGHT shade of blue. It is accompanied door embroidery patterns on the bottom, new sleeves, and, of course, many sparkles. Sparkles can also be found on her hairband.
This "new" Cinderella, while pretty, doesn't have much resemblance to the vorige design for Cinderella of even to the original character in the movie. The change of hairstyle and dress makes her quite different. In addition, her face looks a little different, particularly the eyes.

9. Mulan
Mulan also underwent some drastic changes. Her face looks really different - it just doesn't look like Mulan anymore. Her hairstyle has seemed to have gotten longer with a few loose strands of hair.
A lot has changed about her dress - there are MANY new embroidery patterns all over, and once again, many sparkles. The green sleeves have gotten longer, and the red ribbon-like accessory extends to the bottom of the dress.
This hardly looks like Mulan (from the movie) of even her vorige design. So much has changed about her, from her hairstyle and face to her signature dress.

8. Pocahontas
Deary me, Pocahontas has gotten several new accessories that she doesn't look quite the same. The reason she isn't any lower is because u can still recognize her, even with these accessories. Speaking of which, let's talk about them.
I think the most obvious modification was the addition of schoeisel - boots, to be exact. Why Pocahontas would need boots as she's running around the forest, I haven't a clue. That's not all, though. Her dress has gotten longer and the color has slightly changed from a golden/beige color to a light beige. She now wears feathery earings and beads, and her signature blue halsketting, ketting is now a golden halsketting, ketting with blue jewels on it.
Her face also looks different - she doesn't look very happy with all of the accessories she has on. And gegeven the fact that she looks quite different from her vorige design, I can't blame her.

7. Ariel
Oh my goodness, what happened to her dress?! That's a great question.
Ariel didn't wear a green dress in her movie; she was seen in a blue dress and a roze ballgown, but never a green one. Her dress was probably changed so that she could have meer resemblance to her mermaid form - she had a green mermaid tail, and this dress now recognizes that. Still, it isn't an accurate change. And she even has green shoes on. Ariel's hair is also different. It wasn't nearly as curly and wavy as it is now.
Thankfully, not much else has changed. Although Ariel is wearing a new dress and has a different hairstyle, she still looks like herself, which is why she isn't any lower on this list.

6. Jasmine
It's obvious Disney realized that jasmijn isn't exactly one to wear dresses. So what do they do? Make her pants look as close to a dress as possible, of course!
Jasmine's tube top, boven and pants have gone from a pale blue/green to a bright blue/green. Most notably, though, her pants have been accompanied with a long skirt-like accessory to cover up the fact that she wears pants, and her top, boven now has some similar sleeves.
Her hair is different. It doesn't quite have the same volume - it just looks weaker. Notice that the tip of her ponytail isn't a curl anymore; it just kind of ends. Like Cinderella, she has a loose strand of hair.
u know what I think is even worse than makig her pants look like a dress? Making jasmijn look so much younger! Her face just doesn't look the same and makes her look far younger than she did before. And that, my friends, is possibly the worst thing Disney could do.

5. Belle
Much like Ariel, Belle's hair has gotten much meer curly and wavy. It looks kind of nice, but it is different from her original hairstyle. It appears as though Belle is wearing some makeup, too.
But the most obvious change is her dress - at first it was pretty yellow, but now it looks meer golden. The lower part of the dress now has some embroidery in the shape of roses (which makes sense) and sparkles.
While Belle has gone under some changes, she still looks (somewhat) like herself.

4. Aurora
While I don't think Aurora's vorige design even looked like her character from the movie, her redesign doesn't look too different from that vorige design. Her hair seems a little glossier and yellow. Her dress has a bit of a different shade of pink, but to be quite honest, this new roze matches the roze dress she wears in the movie better than that vorige roze did. And of course, there are meer sparkles.

3. Snow White
Snow White...where do I begin? Well, like Aurora, her hair seems glossier and her hairband seems to have gone from red to sparkly pink. Also sparkly is her dress, which is a treasure trove of sparkles.
The torso of the dress is a brighter blue with some embroidery, and the red...thingies on the sleeves have also become roze (to match the hairband). Snow White's rok is a far brighter yellow and, once again, has embroidery and sparkles.
I think the problem here was Snow White getting an excessive makeover of sparkles, brighter colors, and patterns. But still, she looks like herself, even with all of this excessive-ness.

2. Rapunzel
Rapunzel, being the most modern princess to have a redesign, looks almost the same. However, there are a few changes. I believe that her dress is a slightly different shade of purple than it was before, and if u couldn't notice the sparkles, then u should notice them now. The only other change was adding some embroidery to the bottom of the skirt, but besides these, Rapunzel looks almost the same.

1. Tiana
I would hardly say that Tiana's redesign looks inaccurate - the most notable change was the addition of sparkles, but it fits her really well! If I remember correctly, in the film, her green dress had plenty of sparkles, so this is not a bad change.
Tiana's dress and hairstyle practically remained untouched, and that my vrienden brings her to the top, boven of this list.

Merida
While I can't judge Merida's design (this is only her first one), she was not included in this countdown. But that doesn't mean we can't talk about her!
She looks much meer feminine than the titel character from the movie, but even so Merida seems to fit into the lineup just fine.

 Merida
Merida

From these redesigns, the addition of embroidery and sparkles are most commonly seen for all of the princesses. Some princesses have dress changes, others have new hairstyles, and still others just look like they had some plastic surgery. Are these bad changes? Not always, but they don't necessarily resemble their characters anymore. Oh well. Should Disney choose to redesign these princesses again (perhaps if Anna and Elsa join?) we'll be able to perform this countdown again. :D

Well, I thank u for reading my seconde article! Do u agree with any of these placements? Are there any changes u would make to the list? How do u think these princesses have changed? If u have any comments, please feel free to respond below!

I geplaatst this on the Frizen fan club while back and now I'm posting it here.

Everyone on here that knows pretty much knows how much I love Anna and despise Elsa. I mean, I certainly like Elsa meer than I did when I joined in July, but I really hated her when I joined. So that's not saying much.

Right now, Elsa is twelfth place on my Disney Princesses as opposed to thirteenth place like she was when I first joined, while Anna made it to the top, instead of seconde place. So, both have moved up on my list, but Anna is still way in front of Elsa on my list.

It may not come as a surprise, since Elsa...

Who doesn't love travel?

Well, I mean, I'm sure there are people who, beyond my comprehension, don't enjoy exploring other parts of the big wide world. But I love travel. And I'm sure the Princesses would too. So here are the places the Disney Princesses would enjoy vacationing to. *Disclaimer: I have never been to these cities, so if I sound stupid, have mercy! I got most of my information from the internet.*

Snow White: Glorenza (Glurns), Italy

Snow White would love to visit this tiny town in northern Italy, near the border with Switzerland. Since it is so small, with a population of only...

I did say I was going to write Christmas related artikels here, but I've been wanting to write this one for a while, but I've been putting it off because I thought that pretty much everyone had the same list, but after thinking about it some parts of the lijst can variate from person to person though I believe that most of u will agree with my top, boven 5. Anyway this was door far the hardest lijst I've ever written, the top, boven 5 where settled in stone, but the rest where really hard to place. I based this on many aspects, but mostly on if the princess has both her parents alive, one parent alive of is...

I'm sorry but I disagree with each side. I mean I agree with each side but I don't. I think both sides of the argument are taking things way too far, and it doesn't need to.

Frozen fans need to just accept that not everyone likes this movie and Frozen haters need to learn that they are being just as rude as the Frozen fans and they just need to stop.

Both sides really need to stop because they're ruining this movie for me. They already ruined Elsa for me, and soon, I'll hate the whole thing, even Anna, who's my favoriete DP.

 Honorary Mention: Cinderella's Father
Honorary Mention: Cinderella's Father
Okay so I basically grew up without parents in a large sense. That being said, I always yearned for a loving, stable and consistent mother and father to teach morals, values, effective and constructive communication, consequences for actions, real love, respect, trust, honor, etc. Since Walt Disney founded the company under those family and character-based values, I have always been very attached to the Disney brand. That being said, I was thinking about the Disney Princesses' parents and if I could have traded my childhood situation with one of them, which would it be? Since I also love lists...

Happy Halloween! After much thinking about this, I think I finally came up with another artikel that i'm sure would be interesting to talk about.

Everything lives in a balance. there can't be good without bad, light without darkness, etc etc...The dichtonomy of ying-yang and how they complement each other is a subject that I find fascinating to read about, and mostly to apply it to other things. Something interesting i noted is how often in Disney the villains are pretty much the exact opposite of the heroes, but they often sometimes come from a same base. And in that base, they have much in...

I find majority of the DP films to be a bit scary, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible to make a lijst of the scariest movies, but it wasn't an easy lijst to do, but as usual I hope you'll enjoy this article

12. Cinderella

Okay so the bottom 3 are the only ones I'm really sure about and especially number 12, I mean do I even need to explain why it's last? But luckily it's there for a good reason, but despite being last it does have a few scary moments, but nowhere near as much as the films above

11. Frozen

This movie also lacks scary moments, but I placed it higher because it...

Here's another ranking of my favoriete DP outfits. I find Disney can work on at least signature dresses of princesses, there are hardly any that I absolutely love and wish to own them but there are some great dresses that I really like and here's my top, boven 10 favorite.

1. Aurora's Blue Gown:

Elegance and grace is dripping from this masterpiece. Sleek and straight cut of the dress makes it sophisticated. I love the broad shoulder to the dress with pin pointed sleeves, shows off her poise so beautifully. I like the nipping of the waistline and the flair of the japon, jurk only opens when she twirls,...

complimenten to link for posting the link When I came up with antwoorden for the 3rd question, favoriete movies, I really liked them so I wanted to share them as an article.

Snow White: Gone With The Wind (1939): Known as one of the favoriete romantic classics of all time, this was very big in it's dag and came out just 2 years after Snow White's movie did. This is not only a story of romance but a story of survival and Snow White is definitely a (romantic) survivor.

And for the same reason I won't add in pictures either, but I hope you'll like this artikel despite that
