I've heard so many times that Anna is just another Rapunzel of Rapunzel 2.0, and I've really wanted to make an artikel talking about how she's a unique character and what differentiates her from Tiana, Rapunzel, and Merida. So yeah, let's get started! (By the way this is no way meant to insult the other modern Disney Princesses, just to toon how Anna is different)

Her Wanting To Be Loved

When u think about it, all of the modern princesses except Anna have either been against love of haven't shown any interest in it. Tiana wasn't interested, Rapunzel never zei anything about it, Merida wasn't interested in love and Elsa was too. Society nowadays paints the picture that needing a man shows that you're weak, and I love how Anna goes against that. I've seen so many things attacking the classic princesses for wanting love and I'm really glad that Anna shows that u can want love in a modern movie and that be okay. Anyway, it's very realistic that she yearns for love, since she hasn't gotten any for the past couple of years in her life.

Her Failing

Well this is a positive title. Another thing that's common in this era is the superwoman trope. Rhythmicmagic deservedly calls the modern princesses the superwomen and I definitely agree. All of the modern woman not only often win at everything they try, but have things that they're extraordinary at. Tiana with cooking, Rapunzel with, well, everything, Merida with archery, Anna with...? Yeah, Anna doesn't really have anything she's amazing at, but she also fails a lot. She needs the help of Kristoff and Olaf and others and that's OKAY! I love it when characters need help because it shows they're not perfect. Her failing makes me relate to her since I fail on a daily basis.

Her Selflessness

Now the other modern princesses definitely aren't a selfish bunch, far from it, but I wouldn't call them selfless either. Anna takes it to an entirely new level. Her sister has shut her out for no reason (or so Anna thinks), screamed at her, froze her heart, but she never once gives up. She literally sacrifices her life for a girl who doesn't even love her! The other princesses goals are usually linked with themselves. Tiana in getting a restaurant (though this has partly something to do with her father), Rapunzel to be free and to see the lights, Merida to be free, Anna to get to know her sister and to make things right! I just find this so special and unique!

Sooo, I think that's it :) I love Anna a lot and I hope that u guys enjoyed this article! Again, this artikel wasn't meant to insult the other princesses, just to toon Anna in a different light. Thanks so much for reading <3

Some of the Princesses' wardrobes with a few others.
Some of the Princesses' wardrobes with a few others.
For the past ten weeks, I have been holding a countdown for the wardrobes of the Disney Princesses. This is my first artikel and countdown so please don't judge! If you're ready, here we go!!!!!
11) Snow White
Yes, the princess that started it all also starts off the list. The main reason for this is most likely because she doesn't have a lot of outfits in her movie and the two dresses she does wear, some people say are childish and not super fashionable. In my opinion, this is one of the weaker wardrobes for I dislike her servant dress and I think her princess dress is okay (not a real fan of...

 Anastasia!
Anastasia!
Hi guys, I noticed some similarities with both Pocahontas and another Historical Princess, Anastasia. So, here are my comparisons on both heroines.

Pocahontas

This was the very first historical cartoon that I watched, I did not know about her real-life story after reading about her in Times Magazine a few months after watching the film in Singapore.
It wasn't until that I read meer about her as time goes door that I finally understood her real-life more, she died sadly on her way back to Virginia.
Disney fictionalised her story, door making her fall in love with John Smith. Aside from saving him...
