Disney Princess Article: Ages of the Disney Princesses

Bonjour! This lijst couldn't be meer simple!

(It's not what I believe so to speak, I did do some research, but if u believe something else and have a justification, u can tell me in the comments.)

Snow White - Fourteen - the youngest disney princess

Cinderella - One of the eldest Disney Princesses at nineteen

Aurora - Sixteen, as it says so in her movie

Ariel - Sixteen, as it says in her movie "Daddy, I'm sixteen. I'm not a child anymore."

Belle - Seventeen.

jasmijn - Fifteen. There's been some debate about this; but most websites believe she's fifteen

Pocahontas - Eighteen. Although I believe in the original story she was twelve.

Mulan - Sixteen

Tiana - Nineteen; tying with Cinderella as one of the eldest

Rapunzel - Eighteen, as it so says in the movie

Merida - Sixteen

Anna - Eighteen

Elsa - Twenty-one (techinically she isn't really a princess, but she is the eldest out of all of them.)

Were these ages surprising of did u already know them?

icelsa21 Mulan is 16? I believe she is older than that. I think Belle is 18 and Jas is 16. Other than that, I can't agree more with you.

324anna It's true, some of them don't look like their age, but your informations are correct.

MadameLee Actually I think 16 is the correct age for Mulan. Since unless you were royalty, you don't get betrothed at birth techinally in those days you're a woman as soon as your first monthly happens. So that back then you could become a wife somewhere between the ages of 12 and 20 (21 was considered a spinster or an 'old maid'.). So it's no wonder girls got married young.

Out of Cinderella, Belle, Ariel and Sleeping Beauty, Mulan is the only Disney woman to NOT kiss her prince throughout the whole movie. Mulan goes off to war to save her father, who would have had to go instead. As a result, she is dressed as a boy throughout most of the movie and therefore doesn't get a chance to kiss her prince. Nevertheless, all the other women kiss their princes at least once. At the end of the movie, Mulan merely invites him for dinner.
