My First Impressions on Beauty and the Beast (2017)

Hi guys, so this artikel is literary my first impressions on the 2017 live-action reboot of the Disney Classic that we all grew up with it.

The Cast

I was initially a little disappointed that Disney didn't get either Emmy Rossum of Anne Hathaway for Belle, but one problem with the latter is that Anne will be typecast as a royalty. So, Emmy would be the possible choice due to her singing experience.
Whereas the Beast may either be play door Gerard Butler, Patrick Wilson of Joaquin Phoenix, but with Emmy as Belle. It would be like Gerry has played the Phantom's ancestor while Emmy is Christine's ancestor, of that Patrick is playing Raoul's ancestor after all!
I have basically no commentaar about the rest of the cast at all, honestly speaking.

The Songs

This was another disappointment for me, because I thought that the songs for the musical were going to make way for the film, but it didn't!
But on the other hand, it was great that Alan Menken had written 3 new songs for the film especially.

The Costume

Belle's dress during the ball scene was so unconvincing, she was like time traveling to modern time and got a dress. They should make meer like Cinderella's dress, but slightly different.
Prince Adam's outfit at the end was like Mozart, it's like Mozart has a long-lost twin brother!

True As It Can Be

PrincessErika I couldn't agree more @deedragongirl The ideal Belle for me was Anne too! The actor who played the beast was talented and his voice perfect! What annoyed me the most was that everything seemed so fake,like they were still under construction on the computer...WHEREAS Cinderella live action could be also a vintage real story Tale as old as time sang by Ariana Grande wasn't that good as when Celine Dion sang it Last but not least Belle's dress....When I visited Disneyland I saw so many impressive Belle's dresses ,couldn't they get one from the Disneyland store for the movie remake?

This song could suit most of the princesses, but I think it suits Elsa the best, reminds me a little bit of Let It Go

Before Frozen was released I thought this song suited Mulan the best, but after Frozen came out I realised that this song suits Elsa even better, don't know exactly why though

Why I Believe Disney Should Create an LGBTQA+ Disney Princess

It's time to stop making excuses for Disney. It's time to stop congratulating Disney for including a line of Oaken saying hi to his family, briefly tonen them with the small possibility that that's his husband in the sauna, and then calling Frozen revolutionary.
