Hi! :)
This is my first articulo here, and I'm going to tell tu which foreign voices fit the disney Princesses the best, in my opinion. I wanted to do a video (showing also honorable mentions) but for now I will be doing this article, just to see how it works. Hope tu enjoy it! So, let's start...

Snow White: French (1962) door Lucie Doléne
I chose Lucie because she sounds sweet, endearing and charming, with a mature touch so that she doesn't sound silly (I'm not a big fan of sugar sweet Snow Whites like Portuguese and Polish 2009). This is what Snow White should sound like. Besides, I think Snow White needs to have certain nostalgic, “old charm”, and Lucie makes me smile every time I hear her even if I'm not French.
link (it's a pity I can't find a longer clip of the other songs :( )

Cinderella: Latin Spanish (1997) door Natalia Sosa
Ok, I know most people who grew up with the old dub hate her, but she was my childhood and, while there are many voices that can fit her, I can't picture cenicienta sounding any different. Her voice is a mix of modern and classic, fitting to her face and character! She also sounds very romantic, elegant and princess-y.

Aurora: Korean door Hong Hwa-Jin
I enjoy a wide range of Auroras, from operatic to modern ones, and some that are a mix of both. I went with Hong because her voice isn't that operatic, but still very beautiful and fits Aurora and also the atmosphere of the movie. She sounds dreamy and romantic. en general, general I think most Asian dubs did great with Aurora. I also hesitated with French and Swedish.

Ariel: Bulgarian door Vesela Boneva
Ariel is known for having a perfect voice, but also for being a rebel, curious teenager who dreams of going to a different world. Vesela's beautiful and youthful voice reflects that perfectly! It also fits her face and just listen how gorgeous she sounds in the reprise! I think Slovak, Arabic and Polish are extremely fitting too.
link

Belle: Hindi door Smita Malhotra Rosemeyer
There are many voices that fit Belle, so it was hard to pick one. To me, Belle should sound smart and sophisticated, as well as young and beautiful enough (because, well, she's the Beauty) but also like a shy, lonely girl who deep inside longs for adventure in the great wide somewhere. For this reason I'm picking Hindi, but I also think Icelandic, Swedish, German and Romanian are great fits too.
link

Jasmine: Slovak (2013) door Alzbeta Bartošová
Alzbeta is one of my favourite disney voices, because she manages to fit all of the characters she dubs to a T. jazmín is my favourite role of hers, followed por her Belle. In this role, she sounds happy, romantic, free, and gives some dignity to this spoiled daddy's girl. I think Norwegian, Swedish, French and Latin Spanish are good fits too.
link

Pocahontas: Malay door Juwita Suwito
Like Alzbeta, Juwita fits perfectly all of her characters, but I think Pocahontas is my favourite role of hers, along with her Esmeralda. I usually prefer girlier voices on Pocahontas, but Juwita is great for her because on the one hand, she sounds like a proud Amerindian princess, but also like a free and adventurous teenager. Her voice is also very fresh and modern, in a good way. I think German would be my siguiente choice.
link

Mulan: Cantonese door Kelly Chen
This might be the most controversial choice (along with maybe Snow White and Moana) but I don't think mulan should sound like a tomboy. During both songs, she's just a girl who is sad because she's not what society (and especially her parents) expect her to be. She has to reflect (pun intended) that in her voice. Kelly sounds very genuine, it's an unique rendition and it's the closest thing to the native language. She sounds natural coming from Mulan's mouth. I think Swedish and Indonesian are good fits as well.
link

Tiana: German door Cassandra Steen
I don't think there's much explanation needed here. She sounds just like Tiana! Young, strong, passionate, jazzy, confident about reaching her goals. She gives Tiana a lot of glamour and dignity too. My third favourite German DP voice!
link

Rapunzel: Latin Spanish door Danna Paola
Ok, I'm picking my native version again, but I think she's perfect for Punzie! (Though I also wanted to go with Hebrew and French). She was 15 at the time of the dubbing so her natural youth helps a lot, and I think her voice and energy matches Rapunzel's looks and personality very well! There's not much else to add, I amor her!
link

Merida: Canadian French door Marilou
I picked Marilou because, like with Mulan, I don't want a harsh and tomboy-ish voice for Merida. True, I don't want a bubblegum sweet voice either (like Marilou's European counterpart, Maeva Méline). I think this version found a middle term and I think it works just fine on Merida. She fits every aspect of Merida. One of my favourite voices from Quebec!
link

Moana: Hebrew door Meshi Kleinstein
Many voices fit Moana, but I went with Meshi. Why? Because there's something very exotic (almost “tropical”) and beautiful in her voice that fits Moana (and Rapunzel too, for that matter) a lot, she sounds like a young girl who lives on an island. She takes a fresh, calmer aproach than most Moanas and it works perfectly for me!

So that was it! :) Share your opinions with me! Would tu want a segundo part with the heroines?

Ksenia Sukhinova (Miss World 2008 from Russia)
Ksenia Sukhinova (Miss World 2008 from Russia)
Hi guys, I have been wanting to write this artikel for a long time, since I'm also a beauty pageant fan myself too. I thought that it would be interesting to write about which Disney Princess do they look like and why. If u guys have your opinion, you're most likely welcome to write it down! Here are some of my favourite Miss Universe/ Miss World winners and their striking resemblance to the Disney Princesses.

Ksenia Sukhinova (Miss World 2008, Russia)

This Russian beauty has combo of Cinderella and Princess Aurora, but most likely the latter because of their similar facial features and long...

 Ella and Kit, together!!
Ella and Kit, together!!
Hi everyone, I have decided to write about what I like and didn't like about both versions of Cinderella. If u guys disagree with me, I don't mind. In the bold bracket, is the one I like.

The Prologue

In the 1950 version, we only saw Cinderella and her father with their pets. Unfortunately, he only gets a few minuten of screen-time and there were no interaction between the two because I felt that the whole prologue was just rush. We don't know how close the bond is between Cinderella and her dad.
In the 2015 version, for the first time we got to see her mother as well and Ella, including...

Again, I'm not an expert on this but I'm trying my best to analyze each princess from a feminist standpoint. Trying to figure out which princess is the most feminist, taking into account their actions, their stories, their portrayals and their accomplishments. Well, now it's time for part two, with the middle three and this one might cause quite a bit of disagreements since this part has very polarizing princesses. And be sure to critique because this is the part I'm the least sure about.

6-7. Ariel
She's tied with Rapunzel. I have a hard time deciding. There's no denying Ariel's a groundbreaking...

I’m a huge gymnastics nerd as well as a Disney nerd (obviously), and this was just something that’s been on my mind lately: who would each princess’s favoriete gymnast, turner be? I know a ton (or all) of u don’t follow gymnastics, so I added a couple of history notes and videos of each gymnast, though I know no one’s going to watch them all! If any of u does follow gymnastics of just check out the videos, do u agree with me, of would u pick someone else? Though I will accept no argument on Merida.

Snow White’s Favorite: Olga Korbut
Known for: basically inventing gymnastics
Why she’d...
