I woke up on a Friday, tired and cranky. I looked at my alarm clock, '6:30' it read. "I have to get going, damn frickin school..." I grunted as I got out of bed, brushed my teeth, got dressed, and left. I had gotten on the motorcycle my mother got for me for my 16th birthday, it had skull stickers on it, and was dark black, totally my dream bike. I had ridden to my girlfriend's, Courtney's house, knocked on her door, to have her dad in front of me, he never really liked me, but like i give a damn. "Duncan." zei Courtney's dad. "Evan.." I zei smirking. He looked like he was gonna kill me....

It was cold. cold enough for my green and black hair to freez solid. Today I had school. I was going to dich it but somthing about today made me feel like going. When I got to school the teacher walked in and zei "We have a new student. her name is courtney and we will make her feel welcom.

I leaned against the uithangbord of his house as I pulled out a cigar."Nothing dude, I was just helping her verplaats in some boxes into her house, that's all."I said.

She scratched his head in disbelief."R.i.g.h.t."He said, sarcastically. I took out my lighter and lit the cigar, as I inhaled in deeply. Geoff coughed from the smoke the cigar produced."Dude, u really need to stop smoking those, man. There bad for your lungs, and they give u really bad breath."

I rolled my eyes."So what, it calms me, and helps...

Duncan's P.O.V.


I swerved around another corner. Courtney tightened her grip on me as we spun around it. Suddenly we were there. I sped up until we were under the broken arch. After parking the motorcycle i turned to Courtney who was still clinging to me.
"We're here."
She opened her eyes that had been closed for the whole trip and glanced up at me. Courtney let go and jumped off the motorcycle onto the road.
"This looks familiar...." She muttered then turned to me. "Where are we?" Courtney snapped.
"Come on." I ignored her vraag and dragged her under the arch.

I stared impatiently at the door, waiting for Courtney.
"What?" She asked, opening the door, when she saw me about to ring the doorbell again.
"Are u coming?" I questioned, already walking down the sidewalk.
"Don't u have a car?"
I shrugged. "The police took away my license last time I went to juvi. So unless u want a taxi, we're walking."
"Don't u have like a million dollars?"
"I gave half to you." I pointed out and grabbed her hand to pull her around a corner.
"Hey!" Courtney protested as I dragged her behind me and onto the motorcycle I'd hidden there.

"Ugh," I growled after ending the call. "He is so dead when I get to that movie. " I picked up my PDA and dialed my lawyer's number.
"Michael, where's my letter? I need a new copy of it."
"I'm s-sorry Courtney. B-b-but someone stal every copy and deleted the file from the computer."
"WHAT?" I screamed in fury. Duncan is definitely going to die now.
"The video surveillance shows some guy with a Mohawk stealing it. u don't happen to know who that was do you?" Michael asked.
"No." I growled, remembering my meditation teacher's lessons. Stupid punk-haired, GRRR.

"Courtney wait!" I yelled as i sprinted down the Dock of shame."I made this for you." A carved out scull is what i threw to her.

Duncan paced back and forth in his room, his face a mask of shock and disbelief. He couldn’t believe it was true. He could not and he would not. And yet, deep inside, he felt he’d known all along.

“Duncan, this is the fifth time I have gotten a phone call from your teacher this week,” Duncan’s mom sighed.

I sat down in my seat, relly embarresed. I heard somone laugh from behind.

"What are u laughing of?!" i yelled in Duncan's face.

"YOU!" he zei still laughing like crazy. I know, i must beenlooking funny when i yelled uo in the plane that i was going to be a vegetarian. But i would'nt admit it.

I faced Bridgette again, and started talking with her, how annoying Duncan was. Of course SHE started to tell my, that i was in love with him, just like my soul zei to me! And was'nt!
