I think it's really good dancing, not fantastic or anything but it's good. Shake It Up is an AWFUL show with bad acting (except for Bella Thorne and Davis Cleveland), the characters are terribly written, it teaches horrible life lessons, the characters treat their friends so badly that they don't need enemies, and the comedy is just awful. However I think the dancing is pretty good. It's nothing compared to the dancing in Footloose, High School Musical, and all that jazz but I think it's still good. They're definitely A LOT better at dancing than me. Besides I'm used to doing just basic dancing and barely moving around in my old choir when we'd do dancing.

Its a fuckin joke and they look like fools.

People should watch Step Up movies, Hairspray (2007), Footloose (remake), Singing in the Rain, Dirty Dancing, West Side Story, and Saturday Night Fever for some REAL dancing and talent. Like, for real, all they do on that show is wave their arms around looking like monkeys. They have absolutely no rhythm. The show doesn't have jazz, splits, ballet, or even leaps! People call that dancing? Because if they do, they seriously need some help.
Anyone, even a beginner at the age of 4-5, can do better than Shake it Up.

Being a trained dancer since I was 6, I can easily say that the dancing on that show is pretty f*cking horrible...

You know, it may be kind of fun for a young audience, but from a more technical view, it's honestly an embarrassment.

No idea. I'm clueless when it comes to dancing (they all look the same =.=). So I'm going with okay because they're better than me lol. I dance like a boxer (except they're probably better than me, so by that I mean it looks like I'm getting ready to fight lol)...I can fight, but I can't dance for shit.

Edit: @hatelarxene well, if you put it that way, the Dancing in the Rain one was probably the best dancer of them all. Though, I question if its just because those videos were my type of music, while the videos on Shake It Up, I didn't like any of those songs. #stillhopelessondancing

I don't think the style of dancing really takes much talent. It looks like dancing you'd do in a club, and it seems like the dancers don't have very good rhythm and they aren't really doing any complex or skilled moves.

From those videos ALL of the dancing in them is very similar if not the same:
There's some random gymnastics, followed by a few weird hand/arm gestures, then they all go into this sort of line formation where they're stamping and waving their arms around...

As to my dancing knowledge. Their timing is off but at least they don't look like me while dancing.
