TBH, I have recently been trying to find out what's been going on with me. For a while, I thought I was straight, but now I just don't feel as straight as I thought. I thought.... if I'm not straight, does that mean I'm gay? Bi? Well, after going over how I really felt inside myself, I realized that I just don't feel any desire for relationships with anyone, be it sexual or whatever. I have no desire for sexual/physical contact with anyone, and I just see you guys as friends only. That's it. I am an Ace.

It really is nice to finally be open about how I feel. It's like a weight has been lifted, since I finally figured out what I really feel inside. As for me... I dunno. I used to think I was ace but then considered not cause it was too hard to establish and really know if I dont have a sexual attraction when no one can explain what a sexual attraction was, so then I moved to demi for a bit before getting iffy on if thats legit or not.

So then I just generalized bisexual for the simplicity of explaining it and cause I knew that was a legit thing.

But upong more recent conversations with friends and all Im thinking of taking the demi or ace title back??? But I dont really get sexuality terms much anymore. Idk tbh XD Sexuality and gender stuff are a lot of work for me to really bother about.

@ShadowFan Well I think Zanhar would probably be able to answer that better than me as shes on tumblr and an open Ace herself but Ive seen a bit of it and it seems a lot of people dont qualify Ace as a real thing. A lot of people think its "just a phase" and that "they just havent blossomed". So its generally invalidated a lot of the time. At least from what Ive seen among the tumblr community.

Kinda agree with Riku on this. Anyone can tell you're clearly an Ace just like they can tell I am a heterosexual clearly. Your whole disposition gives it away.

So, basically, you knew I was Ace even before I did. Darn.

And I wanted it to be a surprise.... XD Well, luckily, my family is oblivious. They know that I don't seem to show any interest in dating and all that, but I don't even think they know what Asexuality is yet.

Which is why... I'm never telling them. Screw that.

@Shadow Tbh youll come to find a lot of people figure things about you before you yourself figures it out XD At least things like sexuality and all that stuff.

Personally speaking I've never been assaulted, I've openly mentioned it to many people and not once have I ever felt pressured to have sex or anything of the sort. But that's just my personal experience. But yeah as far as the research I've seen; there's an alarmingly high rate of asexuals getting sexually assaulted for being ace.

I'm straight. Contrary to what my username says; didn't know it meant asexual lol. "Ace" is literally just three random letters from my name.
