u mean how Punzie loves Gothel and considers her captor her mother? Because Flynn/Eugene is her actual romantic love interest, and he is not her captor. I seem to see a tad meer of that Stockholm thingy in BATB, because Punzie is not in love with Gothel, and Belle does fall for Adam ( who actually is her captor, though he sets her free). Furthermore, Belle defends her captor against Gaston, and Punzie just pleads for Gothel to spare Eugene's life. I don't think Punzie actually identifies of feels much sympathy for Gothel right then. een jaar geleden

@M_gann I think it's different when parental figures are involved. Stockholm Syndrome implies that a victim hasn't been under the captor's control for his/her entire life in a parental context. Gothel is abusive mother towards Rapunzel, who has no real memories of NOT being under Gothel's influence. een jaar geleden
