Marilyn was with the boys in the airport before they left for tour (I believe it was the European tour) and no one really knew they were together yet. Marilyn zei she suspected that they knew they were sleeping together but since she was so young (she was only 15 and he was 21) they didn't think it was serious. So she's sitting there volgende to him, listening to him and Mike talking about the girls they were going to sleep with on tour. So that's when Marilyn zei something along the line of "Well while you're gone, I'm going to have some fun too". She zei that Brian was shocked when she zei that. Later, at home, she recieved a telegram that said, "Wait for my call. I love you. Brian". Marilyn was shocked. When he called, he kept telling her how much he loved her and how he realized how close he was to losing her and he couldn't deal with that. And that's when he insisted they get married when he gets home. It's not your typical proposal, but it's just so adorable and Brian like. een jaar geleden

Oh God, that's a tough vraag to answer. I definitely think John & Cyn's breakup was meer tragic since John just slammed his old life constantly. He ignored Julian and he talked crap about Cynthia. It was like once he met Yoko he acted like his love for Cynthia never existed. With Brian, he acknowledges Marilyn as his first wife. I remember watching a Larry King interview where Brian openly admits (in front of Melinda) that he loved her and it was his fault the relationship ended, not hers... geplaatst een jaar geleden

So I do think Brian & Marilyn's breakup was better. They're still very good vrienden (Brian actually calls Marilyn on a regular basis!) and I do think Brian still loves her very much. After all, before they got together, they were best friends. However, their whole relationship just breaks my hart-, hart and I think as a whole, their relationship was meer tragic. After all, Marilyn truly lost her husband to drugs and mental illness and she was just so young and didn't know how to handle it. They were so in love (I still think their 1st meeting and Brian's proposal is the sweetest thing ever) but once Brian started smoking pot, their relationship was doomed. een jaar geleden
