I woke up to find the girl of my dreams sleeping right beside me. I decided to go make coffee so she could sleep in and not be bothered. I tip-toed to the hol, den and poured coffee in my mug. I like black coffee a lot for some reason. Anyway, I went out to my front porch and got today's paper. I saw Jon across the street. "Morning Jon!" I called. "Morning! Katie still asleep?" he replied. "Yep, she is knocked out. She probably won't wake up until later." I called back. Kate walked out and nuzzled Jon. "Hey Chris! How's Katie?" she called. "Good, still sleeping!" I called back. With that I waved goodbye and went back to my living room. I scanned the paper to see if anything good was happening today. It was typical "Guy got shot here, Woman Raped, Kid abducted" kind of crap. Nothing ever good happens here. All of a sudden, my eyes widened with excitement. There was a headline that said. "Adopt-a-Wolf Day! Stop door to adopt a wolf puppy to call your own! Get em while they are young!" My friend was a park ranger so I quietly got dressed and went down to his office. I told him my situation with Katie, and being the good friend he is, he gave me my adoption papers, and, a marriage license. "Now, all u have to do is write her name and yours, and u two are husband and wife!" he told me. "Alex, u have no idea how grateful I am for this." I said. "Well, u saved my life once, I had to repay you." he replied. It was true, I saved him from a beer attack 2 months ago. When I pulled up into the driveway, I saw Katie sitting in the window, looking sad. "KATIE! Ive got a surprise for you!" I called. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. "Why did u leave?" she asked. "Well, I had to run an unexpected errand and u were asleep so I thought I would get it done real quick, I am sorry I should have left a note." I said. "Oh, its ok. I was messing with u anyway!" she grinned. "Haha very funny. Now close your eyes and hold out your paw." I ordered. "Oooh, so demanding, turns me on." she said, holding her paw out. I put the marriage license in one paw and the Adoption papers in the others. "Open them." I said. She opened them and read the papers. Here eyes were filled with tears of joy. She walked up and sat at the pools edge, staring in the water. My pool had a black bottom to it so the water was warm always. "Woah, u have a nice pool!" she said. "Chris?" I watched her from behind the bushes, with my waterproof camera in hand. I had a funny surprise for her. "Huh, must have gone to change." Katie said, dipping her tail in the water. Now was my chance. I tip-toed behind her to sneak up on her. Still she did not notice, perfect. Now, I was right behind her, ready to pounce on her. "BOO!" I zei in her ear. She screamed as I lunged at her and shoved her in the pool. She sank to the bottom and sat there as I jumped in and swam to the bottom with her. She gave me this look *picture below* of pure shock. I snapped a picture of it and her expression turned to a frown she lunged at me and we wrestled underwater. Soon, we were both out of breath as we scrambled to the surface. "YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!" she laughed splashing water in my face. "HAHA! GOTCHA!" I shouted. She went under and I did too. We played underwater and made out a little bit too.
