When garth awoke he found himself bound door chains to two trees in a secluded, dark part of the woods, barely able to speak, barely able to move; bleeding and cut, broken, beat and scarred; his only thought was "at least i will be with lily again". He danced this thought around in his mind for the lonely remainder of 2 hours before Kayne came in to say his piece and make facing life even meer difficult.
Kayne: " well it seems like u can't do anything now, u cannot even protect your own woman!" he zei while laughing ecstatically.
Kayne: "what should we do with u i wonder?: Starve you, drown you, rape then kill you, physically torture u of break u and torture u mentally?...... Thats it... let us leave him alone with his thoughts of life failure so he can eventually, willingly kill himself!! ha ha ha!!!"
Kayne left the room with his alliance lackeys and left two door the entrance of the woods to keep Garth at baai, bay incase he got some life back, they were also allowed to torture him when they felt like it (an alliance perk, free torture of the prisoners and a small benefits package)
Garth was left hanging there to wallow in self pity, his thoughts being his only friend now, only companion. Looking back he wished he could sing with lily just one meer time, hold her in his arms one meer time, feel her soft vacht, bont against his body again.
Garth: (thoughts) "why!? me and Lily didn't deserve this!
The song i remember telling lily about before the festival fits this moment so well".
Still dripping blood on the ground from the fight in chapter 7 Garth new his time was due, so he dragged up his last bit of life and starting singing softly to himself to try and keep his spirits up.
He started to sing the song that in 1984 saved people from suicide because it made people feel better about their situation.

The guards heard Garth singing and quickly and smugly walked in to batter their prisoner. The guards names were Ben and Dover and they were western wolves, small, timid and slave driven door Kayne.
Ben: "oy! waste of fucking space!"
Dover: "Desist from this singing at once before i am forced to get rather nasty!!" (YES!! Dover IS british!! he speaks like a ponce!!)
Garth didn't speak but instead spat at dover's feet and half grinned as to say " the damage is already done, do your worst"
Ben: "How dare you!! now he will have to get his claws polished again, u bastard!!!!
Ben then picked up an axe sharp box mes from the brimming tool bag in the corner and shone the light reflecting from the entrance and off the mes at Garth's face, the reflective gleam seemed to laugh at Garth as he saw his pitiful, beaten and bloodied reflection in the knife's cold steel blade, his reflection staring him down like the reflection new Garth was scared and ashamed.
Dover: "Kill him!!! my claws will need to be re-done now!!! kill, kill, kill!!!!"
"first cut a number on his face"
"scratch a sentence on his chest"
"cut off both his tails with a rusty brood knife"
"and finally let us point and laugh while he bleed's to death"
"do u want to start Ben?"
Ben started to point the blade towards Garth's face as dover looked on in anticipation to the apparent "exquisite pain" that Garth was to feel.
He drew the knife

the blade came so close to Garth's face Garth could feel the stone cold blade on his fur.
Ben: "should i draw a 6 of a 7"
Dover: "a 6, it is the devils number and will probably send him straight to hell, ha-ha-ha!!!"
"i will be cutting off his third leg while u are drawing blood on his face and chest, ho-ho god i love my job!!!"
Garth could feel the cold blade touch his cheek and a torrent of pain rushed through his face and just as this happened 2 flashes of light shone across his eyes and along with that 2 booming thunder like sound, like a marriage of thunder and lightning.
Before Garth knew it Ben and Dover both had gaping bleeding holes through their heads and they both hit the floor with a bloody thump spluttering blood about the floor and the mes stabbing into the ground after it dropped dripping with blood from Garth's face.
And then out of the light an angelic voice...
???: "get your hands off my husbands penis, it's mine!!"
out of the light a beautiful snow white figure came cascading down the trail, beautiful fluttering tail blowing around in the wind, a holster to her side and a smoking gun within and a massive bandage around her chest.
Garth: "Lily?!"
the figure appeared from the light and showed her face..
???: "hi hubby, how's that nice body of your's?"
Garth: "Lily!
LILY!!
LILY!!!!"
Garth felt a strong feeling bubbling out of him, his inner strength; life!, life came flooding out of Garth and for the first time in ages he felt awake and happy and strong.
Garth felt his hart-, hart beat again for the first time since Lily was shot, he pulled down on the chains and they broke with a heavy snap and the linken broke into many clinging pieces and dropped to the floor.
Garth dropped to the ground in a bloodied and beaten state, lily standing over him in a caring way, Garth looked up from his broken state to Lily and embraced her tightly, tears of joy streaming down his face as he felt meer alive than ever.
Garth: "Lily!!! It's really u isn't it?! your alive!! OH LILY!!!"
Lily: "i know, i know, i'm here. she zei in a caring way."
Garth pushed lily to the floor while still in an embrace and didn't stop holding her, he hugged and kissed her and wouldn't stop.
Garth: (trying to stop crying) "how are u alive?"
Lily: "The bullet only grazed my hart-, hart and so it was easily healed door red blood cells and a bandage."
Garth: "OH LILY!! i love u so much!! don't ever leave me again!!"
LilY: "i love u too!!, now do u wanna get out of here?"
Garth needed help being broken beat and scarred in the way that he was. Garth was told door his wife to jump on her back and she would carry them out of their and so he did.
Garth: " Thank's Lily, if u get tired then i will walk".
Lily: " no i will be fine"
They both snuck out of the place at great pace and rushed back to jasper park and the metal festival. Seeing the way that Garth was and seeing that Lily was alive Winston sent for the paramedics and they helped Garth back to health.
The alliances were still alive somewhere and Garth had still vowed to kill them all, this time though he was not alone, he had

and the rest of the pack to help stomp out the alliances once and for all and sing with Lily at the metal festival and live the happy that he had always dreamed of.

u guys have read my chapters of NPLH as they've drudge onward much farther than I've intended. Recently I've opened up new areas to travel into - thus expanding even farther upon what I figured I'd write. Thats good news, everyone wins!
