anime Vraag

I need your help, I'm searching for an anime...

I remember watching it all the time when I was a little kid...
What I can remember about it is that there are three warriors of something:

One is a red brand knight wielding a spear, one is a blue water knight, one is some kind of lion knight with an earth hammer...

In their normal forms... The red brand knight looks like a kid(he probably even is one) in armor, the water knight has got a blue helm on, the lion looks like a fat, dumb cat. There are also two girls with them, but I can't remember much about them, other than the little girl was annoying as hell :D

It is a pretty well-known children's anime, and I'd like to start watching it again... Please help?

It was pretty voilent for a children's anime. Not exactly bloody, but there was a lot of fighting in it. I also remember there being some black knight being one of the main villains i the series...
