I need some advice from Fullmetal fans...

I was thinking of watching Fullmetal Alchemist since my brother might like it, but I need some help: If I was to watch one, which should it be, Fullmetal Alchemist of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood? Stating reasons for your answer is appreciated. Thanks! :)

FMA doesn't really follow the manga. FMAB does. They both have the same plot, it's just they're different when it comes to the manga.
So if u wanna follow how the manga is, watch FMAB. If u don't mind, just watch FMA.
Anyways, it's a really good anime. I enjoyed watching it. It's worth it. Hope that helped. ^^
