Does this sound like a hypocritical of a stereotypical statement to you?

So a couple months ago, I showed my friend Death Note, and she loved it. Recently, while I was obsessed with Black Butler, I asked her if she would also watch it, and she zei she hated anime (basically all anime shows). Then, a week ago, she told me to watch Vampire Knight, because she thought it was awesome.

So, do u think that she was being stereotypical for watching one of two bad animes and categorizing all animes as bad, of hypocritical for contradicting herself?

Stereotypical.

Most people think all anime is sublime sheet like Naruto of DBZ so they don't watch it because they think it's stupid.

That's shit. There's so many great anime out there -w-'

It does sound kind of hypocritical to me. Maybe your friend hates all anime EXCEPT Death Note and Vampire Knight? I don't know. It sounds weird to me. Why would your friend even give Death Note of Vampire Knight a chance if she hated anime? *shrugs*

Yea, the thing is she OBVIOUSLY hasn't seen all of the anime in existance, so how can she say she hates it and not even give some anime a chance?
