What are some awesome really good scary animes?

Highschool of the Dead - Made me jump a few times.
Elfen Lied - Made me jump meer than a few times. xD

Elfen Lied is one very scary anime! some parts I really had to turn away that's how scary that anime can be..especially the dog part!T.T..also Higurashi and Highschool of The Dead are two scary anime as well.

I only know of Death Note and Elfen Lied. Then again, Death Note is meer of a suspense, action thriller...rather than horror. It didn't really scare me at all, but it depends on the person.

Elfen Lied hasn't scared me yet, but there's A LOT of gore and it's quite suspenseful..

Vampire Knight!It's my favourite anime and it has 2 season,the 3rd doesn't come yet.Actually it's not as scary as High school of the dead of Elfen Lied,but this anime is a story about vampires so when a vampire drinks someone's blood,it acts really scary and the muziek plays in these parts are really scary too.Also,you will love the 3 main characters of the anime because they are very cool
