That's because all the veteran anime fans lost interest in the fandom when anime went mainstream. They were always complaining how new anime was cliche & low budget & pandered to the lowest common denominator. But once I get into something, I like to be a fan for life.

Fansubs were a pain in the ezel to get through mail. They were free but u had to pay quite a bit for shipping.

Lol yeah my school bibliotheek has manga XD If u steal any boeken at my school u have to buy them and if u don't either buy of return them u can't graduate/go on to the volgende grade. x3

Don't blame u for only downloading, Japanese CDs & DVDs are obscenely expencive; $11 for a single, $40 for an album, $60 for a DVD with only 3 episodes. & those prices were BEFORE the economy went to shit. I dont; even want to know how inflated they are now.
