No im sorry to say this but there is no season 4. i listened to the commentary with the co-creators of avatar and they zei "people ask us if there will be a season 4 and we are here to say there will be no season 4 because we only made seasons of the elements that Aange needed to master and he already knew air."

There is no season 4 but there is a spin off series called Legend of Korra comming out in 2012 and they need to leave some vragen unanswered. But that toon is so cool that I wish there was a fourth season.

There's absolutely no reason why they shouldn't make a book 4. The excuse of it having to be air is nonsense. u could simply think of "Air" as Aang himself finishing what he started and completely restoring balance, instead of him learning it like the traditional chapter titles imply. Apparently Book 4 has already been written, all they would need to do to adapt it to the toon is change some of the words around, and maybe a few scenes to make it flow better. The only issue should be money, but they have tons of fans willing to support them, me amongst them. Please do a book 4, The Last Airbender and it's fans desperately need this.
