The only problem in Katara and Hakoda had was that her father went off to war, leaving her and her brother alone to pretty much pray every night their remaining parent someday return alive. Other than that, they love each other and don't have much problems.

Toph and Lao are a close second. Really, though, Lao was only concerned with his daughter's protection, despite going so far as to bribe those two men to go get her. Not to mention he won't even let her out the walls or have friends. It really sucks but the one I chose, I could go on about for hours!

But to make it short, Ozai and Azula's father-daughter relationship is, and I cannot make it any softer, f***** up. Ozai wants his daughter to be the best, since he banished his son and wants her to be the perfect heir to his throne. Say what you will, Ozai is not one I will ever sympathize with for ANY reason should anyone find one, and even though he favors Azula, this puts a lot of pressure on her. And while her drop into insanity wasn't entirely his fault, he was certainly a part of that puzzle. A father who pushed his daughter to be perfect, to be a part of his new era, and they both pay the price.

If you want, sure, since that's pretty much the only father-daughter complication that is actually complicated in the show. It'd make me think a bit between those two.
