Quite a pleasant tune to listen to.
Quite a pleasant tune to listen to.
Since I had done with my favourite Christmas films, now it's the famous Oratorios composed door famous classical composers.

1) The Messiah door George Frederick Handel

This oratorio premiered in Dublin, Ireland and it's the first oratorio to be performed in English. Which was unusual at that time.

2) Alexander's Feast door George Frederick Handel

Although this oratorio is link to Alexander the Great, it's muziek sounds very Christmas oriented and it is highly recommend for both Christmas and Handel fans alike!

3) St. John's Passion door Johann Sebastian Bach

It's dramatic muziek will not only celebrate Christmas, but to remind us that Jesus had died for our sins and was born on Christmas dag to remind us of Him.

4) St. Matthew's Passion door Johann Sebastian Bach

The same reason as St. John's Passion, only this time it has some nice and relaxing tune that u might find the whole oratorio pleasant to listen to.

Festive Mood

Ready for a festive and religious mood for Christmas? So am I!

The modern figure was derived from the Dutch figure of Sinterklaas, which, in turn, may have part of its basis in hagiographical tales concerning the historical figure of gift giver Saint Nicholas. A nearly identical story is attributed door Greek and Byzantine folklore to Basil of Caesarea....

If a link is to be believed, most of us Fanpop users live in cities of their suburbs. For those of us who do, I issue another challenge, but this time it's not designing your own game of writing poetry. This is a Christmas challenge, so it follows in the spirit of the holiday. We can all get caught up in the glamour of the holiday (in both meanings of the word), but regardless of your belief in the divinity of Jesus, the holiday is to commemorate his birth, and since most of the history we have of him is about his caring for the disenfranchised, poor and sick, I...
