I love Christmas, it is one of my favoriete holidays ever. Even though it was meer exciting when I was a child of even a teenager. But I grew up and my sister who is 7 years younger than me, she's 25, I don't see her as much, even on holidays as she lives with her boyfriend of a year. Plus her job as a VJ at our local radio station takes up a lot of her time. Then there is the fact that my nana on my mom's side always put on the best Christmases, Christmas was also her favoriete holiday, but sadly she passed away 4 years ago, then with my Aunt and Uncle going to either New York to have Christmas with my cousins, their children, who are in their 30's of they go to Santa Barbra. Now, why don't my family and myself go there to celebrate Christmas with them? Well, that is because me and my family live in Canada, we don't have a lot of money to go to the US and I don't even have a passport. Anyways Christmas is just dull right now, to me, even though it is my favoriete holiday. Now on with my list. Most of these are family movies, there may be a couple that aren't but are still considered Christmas films to me and what I would watch around Christmas and New jaar Eve.
1. Home Alone 2 Lost in New York 1992 Starring Macaulay Culkin, Daniel Stern, Joe Pesci
I love home pagina Alone 2. It is my favoriete Christmas movie ever. I've watched it every Christmas since it first came out. I do like the first one and the third but the seconde one is the best. It's meer funny. But one thing I just read on Google, is that it's only 24% on Rotten Tomatoes, it's not that bad, it's not bad at all. I just don't understand.
2. The Santa Clause 1994 Starring Tim Allen, Judge Reinhold, Wendy Crewson
I love this movie. It's one of my favoriete Christmas movies, obviously. Besides the fact that it has Santa Clause and the North Pole and all that good stuff, it is basically about the magic of Santa Clause. Now, I can't remember how old I was when I stopped believing, I think I was about 9 of something like that. It's just a really great movie.
3. How the Grinch stal Christmas 1966
I love, love, love this movie. It's so cute. I know I've zei this twice already but I really do watch it around Christmas, I try to on Christmas Eve. Anyways, I just think it's so amazing. To me, it's better than the live action version with Jim Carrey, that one's funny and it's got a young Taylor Momsen but the cartoon is way better. I just love it so much.
4. Black Christmas 1974 Starring Olivia Hussey, Margot Kidder, John Saxon
I know, it's a horror movie, I get that. I wouldn't recommend u watch it if u are scared of horror movies. But to me, I enjoy it. It's based around Christmas, though it's spooky.
5. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 1989 Starring Chevy Chase, Randy Quaid, Beverly D'Angelo
This movie is great. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, like my mom as she doesn't like the main actor in the movie. I just think it's funny. Though the movie is a bit of a disaster, literally. It's just a really great movie to watch during the Holidays.
6. The Muppet Christmas Carol 1992 Starring Michael Cain, Frank Oz
I love this movie. I've watched it every christmas since I was a child. My brother, who has Autism, has had it since his birth, anyways, he was obsessed with that movie. So, we had to watch it. I've never seen the original Christmas Carol, just this one. But regardless, I love it, it's funny and it's a great Christmas movie.
7. I'll be home pagina for Christmas 1998 Starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Jessica Biel
I love this movie. It has Jonathan Taylor Thomas of JTT, who I had a massive crush on in the early to late 90's and just had to see this movie and I fell in love with it.
8. Rudolph the red nosed raindeer 1964
Yep, I just had to add this. This is another movie I watched every Christmas as a kid as did my parents. I still watch it to this day. No, no, I will not be ashamed for watching a Classic christmas cartoon.
9. Lethal Weapon 1987 Starring Mel Gibson, Danny Glover
Okay, so it's not technically a Christmas movie, like the others on this lijst but it is still based around Christmas. Regardless it's still one of my faves.
10.Jack Frost 1998 Starring Michael Keaton, Joseph Cross, Kelly Preston
I love this movie. It's a fun and sad movie all in one. But I really like it and I like to watch it around Christmas.
