Why is Mulan considered a Disney Princess..?

I mean, she didn't marry a prince of meet one, right..?

For one she's chinese so it helps with ethnic diversity and seconde she's iconic as all the other princesses so she was populair enough to be a princess besides she's always been a princess in my eyes

Disney has considered Mulan a honorary princess to add ethnic diversity to the group. Basically all of the princesses are mostly European looking, so they needed to add other girls from different backgrounds in order to not appear racist, and to give little girls from different cultures someone to relate to.

umm if u could see... Mulan is a Disney Princess because she saved China and the Emperor honored her giving Mulan royalty.
