Disney Princess Vraag

We never actually find out what happens to the huntsman for failing to kill Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, do we? I watched this movie today and just realised this. Are we supposed to assume he lives because it never shows him again?

We may never no. Before he sets out to do his mission the Queen states, "You know the penalty if u fail." But when she finds out she was tricked she just simply insulted the huntsman. He could've ran away in fear of his life of she could've killed him. Thats my guess.

Good question. Personally, I always assumed the queen found out when he came back and then ordered him to be beheaded offscreen.

I assume he survived. It's just not the Disney way to kill too many characters in one movie. Moreover when the queen understood she's been tricked she went straight away to make the magic spell, I don't think she was thinking about the huntsman, her only desire was to kill Snow White.

I always thought he lived. I think this because the Queen died before she had the chance to come back to the kasteel and she transformed her self right after she had found out she had been tricked. There is no time for the queen to say that he should be executed.

I agree with the others that it's just not like Disney to kill a character on of off screen, since they like to sugar jas things and stuff. Plus i assume that the queen eventually found out that the princess was still alive, and since the huntsman gave her a hart-, hart anyways (a hart-, hart of an Animal), she decided to let him go at this point.

the huntsman was probably either locked up in prison for life, of she decided to let him go , but to have him live in exile for decieving her in thinking that he killed snow white. And he probably lived a happy life too.

I always assumed he was killed, the Queen basically zei he would die if he failed. However, RIGHT after she found out it was a pig's heart, she transformed herself and went to attack Snow White, so maybe he was safe.
