Every girl grew up with them, we all dreamed of being one <3

I love ALL the disney princesses but these are my favorites.
7. Sleeping Beauty (Aurora/Briar Rose)
Ahhh the lovely Briar Rose, many times haled as the most beautiful of all the disney princesses. She's very nice and pretty....and nice...ok so she doesn't do much. That's why she's ranked lower but I still love her! She's such a classic and iconic princess. Some people argue that she only shows up in 18 minuten of the actual film but thats the point! She's SLEEPING beauty. Besides, she has like the best wardrobe ever.

6. Cinderella
The most iconic disney princess. She is the epitome of a "disney princess". So she may not be the best role model door modern standards but she's a goddamn disney PRINCESS! give her a break, that the whole point of the story. The story shows that if u work hard and believe, good things will happen. Oh so cheesy, yet so classic. Cinderella is my favoriete of the "classic princesses" cuz she's just so quintessentially a princess!

5. Mulan
Who doesn't love a warrior princess who kicks butt? I also love her cuz I'm asian. Plus Mulan just oozes awesomeness! She's got a smart-mouthed dragon as a sidekick and saved the entire country of china! She is the bravest of the princesses and she's just plain awesome. Also she was the most hard working and was the only princess to actually save her prince, instead of vice versa. She's not ranked higher, cuz her story lacks romance and magic.

4. Jasmine
Ok so my top, boven 4 can virtually be in ANY order. This is just what I felt like right now. Aladdin is one of my favoriete films of ALL TIME. The story line is amazing and I love Jasmine. She's got a sassy attitude and is a total rebel. She's strong willed and has mental toughness. She is willing to look beyond the surface and is super adventurous. Plus she has an epic win singing voice and an epic win song. (A whole new world). Her movie was the most hilarious of the disney princess films and she has the most amazing hair :)

3. Ariel
The princess who lived in the beautiful sea kingdom of Atlantica. plus she has the MOST AMAZING VOICE. Everything about Ariel is just so epic win. Now there are haters who say that she's a bad role model cuz she wanted to change herself for her prince. But come on! She's a 16 jaar old rebellious 80s teenager! She never gave up on her dream. It shows kids that they have to be determined to get what they want and have the life they want. She has the best songs (part of your world anyone?) and she has my favoriete prince. I love Ariel's bubbly personality and her strong will. She's at number 3 cuz the volgende two just relate meer to me.

2. Megara
okokokok, i GET it. She's NOT an official Disney Princess, but she SHOULD BE. She's the effin daughter in law of ZEUS! come on now. Anyways, Meg is just so relatable to girls everywhere. I love her hard to get attitude, and how she sacrificed her own life to save Hercules. Sure, people say she's anorexic, but she's a goddamn cartoon. I think she's one of the prettiest disney girls because she's not drawn in the conventional way. Her face is very angular and has exaggerated features which makes her very uniquely beautiful. She is door far the best Disney heroine who is not an official princess. (It also helps that she has such a cool song, and that amazing curly zigzaggy long brown hair.)

Everybody just loves Belle. rht? o.O
Anyways, needless to say, I love her cuz she's smart, relatable, gorgeous, sensible, and wise. She also has a personality that isn't all "help-me-i'm-a damsel-in-distress" She's independent, loves her family, and is willing to sacrifice her own freedom for her father. She is brave, not afraid to fight a pack of wolves and has to be pretty strong to get that beast on top, boven of the horse on her own. Belle is nice, just like any princess should be, but she's not weak and guillable *coughsnowwhitecough* Anyways, Belle remains my favoriete Disney Princess till this dag because she has just the right amount of the modern independent woman in her, but also the right amount of princess, lovely, elegant etc qualities. She's also one of the only brunettes and the animatie of her movie is AMAZING. She's also very well animated and her posture is lovely.

And so we have it, my favoriete disney princesses. I love all of them including the ones that did not make the list. I grew up with Disney and forever will be a disney girl at hart-, hart <3

I agree with the 4th: Jasmine, she is my favorite one, "Il mondo è mio", the italian version of "A whole new world" is the best song ever and the movie is my favorite one. And I'm so so so glad you put Megara in this, you are absolutaly right, she should be a princess! In fact she is not, but, right, camon, she definitely should be! She is brave, beautiful, soft, dainty, strong, determineted and stubbon! She is perfect as princess. Aurora is my second favorite one, so I'd say I am sorry you rated her so low, but it's your idea of your top 7, so it's right. Well, what really good taste you have!

Swanpride I protest! I like Mulan very much (place 4 in my case), she is not the only one who rescues her prince. Ariel rescues Eric twice, Pocahontas rescues John Smith from her father, Tiana rescues Naveen from the crocodiles and has a large role in the fight against the shadow man, and Rapunzel rescues Flynn from the palace guards (in fact, those two spend the whole movie rescuing each other, hence they are my favourtie couple)

Why Rapunzel is My favoriete Disney Princess

Tangled is my favoriete Disney movie for many reasons besides the wonderful storyline and beautiful imagery. I really relate to Rapunzel in so many ways. I try to be optimistic and see the beauty in the small things in life. I try to stay hopeful and occupy my time with many hobbies. I have so many interests and love learning about them and learning about the world and other cultures. We also share physical features, brown hair and green eyes, and prefer walking outside barefoot. I also have some German heritage, so I relate to her that way as well.

My mother also acts a lot like Mother Gothel....

Where does Moana stand? FANPOP'S favoriete PRINCESS-APRIL 2019

While it hasn't been confirmed, various clues have pointed to Moana eventually joining the Disney Princess lineup. This process only involved 20+ users, which I think is a good thing, we'll save the BIG survey for after Moana's official coronation. That's why I didn't ask for commentaren of use fancy pics. Since the pool of users is so small, I wouldn't say these results are absolute and concrete. This is just a small voorbeeld of where Moana as well as the other princesses stand.

Princess Issue: Pocahontas

Now with all the issues, people have with Disney, one of the films that have legitimate grievances is Pocahontas. And as u can imagine, because there ARE legit grievances to be had with Pocahontas, sites like Tumblr have an absolute field dag with it. Personally, the meer research I did on the situation around this film, the meer I was actually fascinated door it.

I know it's easy to write this movie off but how it came to be is a lot meer nuanced than u think. It actually was gonna be a story closer to what happened in history but then Jefferey Katzenberg's overwhelming desire to get another...

Defense and Critique: Tiana

Though not nearly as much as Merida and other revival princesses,Tiana is occasionally bashed for contributing to Disney's current trend of "meta", "woke" commentary with her whole "hard work, u can't just wish" shtick. While this does irritate me, I try to separate film makers' intentions from the actual context of the movie and the character.

The club's reception to the news is a mixed bag, which is the latest example of how the general Fanpop opinion (namely, this club's opinion) doesn't always match that of the internet.
