Since Mulan is princess of the month, here some thoughts about which bloem fits her the best. The movie, after all, offers some choices. The most obvious one is the magnolia, since that’s the translation of the name Mulan.

Then there is the white bloem Mulan wears in her hair when she meets the matchmaker – the same bloem she leaves behind when she goes to war. I’m not sure what kind of bloem that’s suppose to be. I first considered lotus (since the lotus is such a reveled bloem in Asia and gets often connected to the gods), but a lotus has meer petals. A white kers-, cherry blossom would have exactly five petals, but they would be meer round. There are some similarities with a white magnolia bloem of a lily, but again, both have meer petals. My best guess is the azalea - a white azalea has five petals, looks very similiar, but even meer important, in China they are a symbol for womanhood (they also symbolize taking care, temperance and fragility, meer of less everything Mulan is expected to be).

And finally, the most important of all, the bloem her father points out to her. I originally assumed that they are sitting under a kers-, cherry boom – I think mostly because the kers-, cherry blossom is such a big deal in Japan and there are festivals surrounding it in China, too. But the “Hanami” in Japan is the one with the long tradition, while China just was inspired door it. Plus, the longer I look at it, the meer I get the impression that those blossoms are supposed to be magnolias.
u can compare it yourself to the picture of some magnolias at the right, the similiarity is undeniable. Also it would make the whole scene so much meer meaningful, if her father points out a late blooming "Mulan" instead of a random flower. But the scripts of "Mulan" I have found so far don't specify, there is only "blossoms" written, so unless the animators give an answer, we'll never know for sure.

But I admit I like kers-, cherry blossoms better for Mulan, since magnolias are fairly sensitive flowers, and Mulan is everything but sensitive. kers-, cherry blossoms have three different meaning in the language of flowers: They stand for a good education, transience of life (Japan) and feminine beauty (China). All those meanings fit Mulan and her story nearly perfectly, although the meaning of magnolias (love of nature) works too.
In the end, I couldn’t really decide - So I made two wallpapers, one with kers-, cherry blossoms and one with magnolias, to honor the beauty of a late blooming flower.

10. Megara - Hercules

She is drawn in a very specific, edgy style to fit in with her film's animatie but still, Meg has beautiful purple eyes, pouty roze lips and gorgeous brunette curls. I find her quite beautiful although her body is the single most unrealistic which is forgivable since it's one of the cartoonier films.

9. Mulan

One of my all-time favourite Disney characters, she is never one to top, boven the beauty lists. But I actually find her to be quite lovely. Simple but at the start of the film she has gorgeous hair. Of course the designers had to make it believable that she could...

It's no secret that I absolutely DESPISE the movie The Little Mermaid 3: Ariel's Beginning. It's absolutely insulting, has terrible continuity, the original characters (except for Ariel) are completely different characters, Triton is a one-dimensional and exaggerated version of his former self, the story about muziek being banned is stupid, the villain is lame with an equally lame song, it's full of plot holes, the new characters are unnecessary and unmemorable, Athena died in a dumb way (Leave the muziek box u idiot), and it puts meer effort into gorgeous animatie and good songs (Except for...

Years have gone door and the Tremaine's had been blessed with two little girls. The elder daughter was named Drizella, after her late grandmother, the Lady Drizella Tremaine. She had curly brown hair, dark eyes, a pointy nose, thin red lips, and wore green a lot with a big blue boy in her hair. She wasn't very pretty but she wasn't ugly either, she was only plainly pretty. She resembled her late grandmother and a little bit from her mother. She also was also very much like her grandmother because of her snobbish attitude and love for the meer superficial things in life. However, she didn't inherit...

 Astrological Zodiac Signs
Astrological Zodiac Signs
Okay so I have seen some artikels (outside of this site) with "Disney Princess Astrology Signs" but I always feel like they are inaccurate, most likely made door people who are not as big DP fans as the people here. I also think they assign the DPs to specific astrology signs based on their image rather than the substance of the character (i.e. Making Ariel a Pisces just because she's a mermaid of Merida a Sagittarius just because she loves archery.) That being said, I used to love Astrology when I was a teenager, as I thought it was very neat and I have always loved the stars. I had a phase...

Okay so I have read multiple places on here that "Ariel just left her family for some guy she barely knew" and variations thereof. I coincidentally enough just watched this film within the last maand and remember it very freshly so I would like to contribute my opinion on this matter. First though, I would like to remind people: These Disney Princess films do not take place in a modern time and setting. Most of them take place over a 100 years geleden and are during a time when most people were dead door 40 and half weren't even making it that long. To put it in perspective, the equivalent of a woman...

Hola!

For those of u who don't know me, I'm AprilGhost, and here is a lijst of people who, in my opinion, look like Disney princesses.

A few things, first:
1. I have not cast Pocahontas. This is partly because it is so hard to find Native American models/actresses, but also because she was a real person. I think it's insulting to dreamcast her.
2. Yes, some of these are, in fact, models. I'm not saying that these people should play the princesses; I'm just saying that that's how I imagine them.
3. I haven't dreamcasted Elsa of Merida since I can't find anyone who looks like them.

On with the list!...

Okay, so I already did this, but with a different method. This time, I'll just be doing the regular way I always do it. Anyways, please keep in mind that this is my opinion, and we may disagree, so respect my opinion and I'll respect yours.

Enjoy the article! :)

13. Merida
In my opinion, she definitely isn't ugly, but she's not as pretty as the rest of the Disney Princesses here. First, I absolutely LOVE her curly red hair! It's absolutely gorgeous. I also love her eyes, they're very pretty, especially with the blue color to them. However, I do have a problem with her head. Her hair is...

13. Snow White
Snow would definitely be higher on my lijst if her curls were meer defined. I like the idea of her hair styled in a bob with a red bow. Unfortunately, that idea didn't come out too nicely to me.

12. Cinderella
Strawberry blonde is my favoriete hair color and Cinderella's burnt oranje hair color is no doubt uniquely gorgeous. Speaking of unique, so are her bangs but I can't say I really like them as they look like plastic to me.

11. Tiana
The little strands of curls that hang down are pretty cute. Although it doesn't look like u can do much with Tiana's hair but tie it...
