So, finally the last songs. Filler Songs are songs which serve no real purpose at all – they don’t really add something to the story, they normally turn up in filler of Comic-Relief scenes. And they are mostly something typical for the older Disney movies, so there are not that many overall.

5. The Little Mermaid: I only added “Daughters of Triton” here because I felt I had to mention it somewhere, but the piece is so short, I hesitate to take it into account at all. It's not bad, not at all, it serves it's purpose door introducing Ariel's family, but that's meer of less all what is to it: Just a bunch of names, sung prettily.
So the rating is mostly based on “Les Poissons”. Before I made this pick, I had this one as third best. But some of the reactions in the pick really surprised me, so I took a really good look at the song, and the scene itself, and I suddenly realized how useless the whole sequence is. It’s pure comic relief with no purpose at all – Louis doesn’t even turn up again until the very end of the movie, for another pointless gag.

Fanpop says: Third best for “Daughters of Triton”, “Les Poissons” ended up as seconde worst “Odiosa! Pointless, arguably harmonious, and not that special at all.” (Lisia)

4. Sleeping Beauty: If there is one sequence in “Sleeping Beauty” I dislike, than the “Skumps” scene. It’s another one of those pointless comic relief scenes, and I could life with removing it from the movie altogether. And the song is barely a song at all. But it at least serves the purpose to toon the plans and hopes of those two fathers. It could have done better (as “Tangled” proves) and especially shorter, but it’s enough for me to put it on place three.

Fanpop says: Worst “i like what they say, i think its funny... but they don't sing that much in it... all they sings is "Skumps"” (DamianLUVR)

3. Snow White: I absolutely loathe “The Silly Song” and “The Washing Song”. The former is literally about nothing, and the latter about washing. But at least the melodies are somewhat catchy. And one could argue that “The Silly Song” works well to toon how carefree Snow White is while the Evil Queen hatches her evil plan (nice shift of mood in the movie).
And while I always was bored door the washing scene, even as a little kid, it is a step in the character development of Grumpy. I always thought that he actually wants to wash too, but naturally he would never ever admit it. (And he certainly is the only thing which makes the scene bearable). It certainly serves well to demonstrate the dynamic between the dwarves.

Fanpop says: seconde best for “The Silly Song” (well, one had to get it, right?), third worst for “The Washing Song”

2. Cinderella: I really can’t tell what’s so fascinating about “Sing Sweet Nightingale”. The song has practically no text, the scene, while pretty to look at, serves no real purpose (although it does toon the contrast between the life of the stepsisters and the life of Cinderella), but it’s just a tune u can’t escape. And the scene is not one seconde longer than it should be.

Fanpop says: The clear winner, scoring meer than half of the votes. ” door far-always loved this song” (ecpjll)

1. Yeah, I know, u are all wondering, what could have been better after all – well, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Aladdin”, “Pocahontas”, “Mulan”, “The Princess and the Frog” and “Tangled”. Because even better than having a good “Filler Song”, is having none at all. Some of those films have songs I consider pointless, but they have been already downgraded in the related category for that.

I used to give into the hype and I still like her but I've recently realized that she's not that strong of effective of a villain. I've never seen the Angelina Jolie live action movie and quite honestly I don't think I ever will. This is all based on the original Sleeping Beauty.

Now, Maleficent definitely has the classic villain personality (sinister, petty, arrogant) and aesthetic. (she can turn into a dragon, and green brand is cool) She's one of the most quotable and meme-able villains in all of Disney. In fact, I think she's the one who really perfected the look and feel of a "Disney Villain"...

Hi Tiara 66 here I am here to do a tell one of my fav Disney princess sequel the little mermaid 2 return to the sea. Please beer with me I do have some ramble. So without futher of do here is my review.

The story take place probably about seven of eight years after the first movie took place. Ariel is now living on land with Eric and has a daughter name Melody. So Ariel and Eric are having this huge celebration of the fact that now have a child in there family who is human/mermaid. Everything is going great they are having a great time until Morgana shows up and tries to steal Melody. I guess...

Pocahontas is one of those Disney films that, despite being middle-of-the-road for me, I have to rewatch fairly often. Something about this movie intrigues me. Maybe it's because I want to like the movie meer than I currently do and understand why some fans revere it. I might not be there quite yet after this most recent rewatch, but I'm narrowing in on what specific things I like and dislike about the film. Now's the time to share those thoughts.

Praises
1) The backgrounds in this movie aren't just beautiful. THEY'RE GORGEOUS. The subtle lines, the designs, and especially the rich colors are...

Though not nearly as much as Merida and other revival princesses,Tiana is occasionally bashed for contributing to Disney's current trend of "meta", "woke" commentary with her whole "hard work, u can't just wish" shtick. While this does irritate me, I try to separate film makers' intentions from the actual context of the movie and the character.

In the first act of the film, she's portrayed as diligent and determined but she's not as in your face about it. For the most part, her thing is "partying and dancing just isn't my for me". She's not insistent, condescending of critical of others for...

What makes for a remarkable Disney Princess dress, the princess herself, of course, and while the Disney Princesses are renowned for their exemplary qualities that showcase the most empyreal aspects of the human spirit, it is the artful assemblage of accessories and garments which assist in emanating those qualities that make for the noblest of ensembles. This is what I believe are the most beautiful Disney Princess dresses. Which ones are yours?

A pure joy in essence, Snow White's lovely dress charms with its bold, fun colors, puff sleeves, high white...

Tangled: The Series, now called Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, premiered in March 2017 with the pilot movie, Tangled: Before Ever After (hopefully that sentence wasn't too confusing!). The film sees Rapunzel adjusting to life in Corona and introduces several concepts that the rest of the series will explore: Rapunzel's golden hair growing back, the growth of magical spiky rocks that can devastate Corona, foes with a thirst for revenge, Rapunzel and Eugene's marriage, and Rapunzel learning how to become a good queen.

At first, I was surprised that Tangled was getting a TV show. Even though I quite...

After I watched the first 7 seasons of My Little pony Friendship is Magic I started listening to the songs on repeat whenever I felt like it and there are songs from that toon that had me thinking of some of the princesses and some of the characters in the movies. Here's a lijst of the songs, which characters the songs reminded me of, and why.

Song: regenboog from My Little pony the Movie
Character: All the princesses

This song is actually mostly for a character in the movie who was a villain but then reformed which isn't what happened to any of the princesses (except maybe Elsa, though...

I am decided to sort DPs to Hogwarts Houses. I'll illustrate this artikel with pictures where each DP best exhibits the traits of house she belongs( Gryffindors do something risky, Hufflepuffs are doing something useful of exhibit frinedliness, Ravenclaws read of explore something, Slytherins are tricking someone of dream about something). Warning: I have some unpopular opinions but I'll try to explain them. This is how I interpretent Hogwarts Houses and their values:
Gryffindors are first of all are brave, courageous, outspoken and risky. They are also often progressive, rebellious, mischievous,...

A Disney Tale: A young girl is forced into drudgery door her step-family, only to win the hart-, hart of the kingdom's Prince and live happily ever after.

Disney Hero: Ostensibly, the 'hero' of Cinderella is the Prince (never actually referred to as Prince Charming, despite that being what he is generally known as today. Some sources have him named as Henry.). It is he who romances Cinderella and desires her as his wife after the ball. But, actually, the real heroes of Cinderella - for me - are Jaq and Gus, Cinderella's mice friends. They are the one's who rescue Cinderella from her attic room. Jaq...

11. Cinderella

This was one of the easiest. Despite being the first DP movie I've ever seen, it is also the only DP movie with no aspects I enjoy. I don't like the characters, animatie of songs. I find nothing enjoyable about this movie and I have no desire to re-watch it. I don't hate this movie but I wouldn't say I like it either. My least favoriete DP movie wth no doubt. There are adaptation of this fairytale I like more.

10. Sleeping Beauty

I love its animation, it's gorgeous and one of the best in Disney history. I feel like artistic style of Pocahontas was inspired door SB and...
