So a few months ago, I decided to write a short artikel on who my favoriete princesses were. Well, that wasn't a complete lijst and my explanations weren't very clear so here we go again :)
10. Pocahontas
ok, so I don't really love her as much as I love the other princesses but I still like her. She's so brave and I admire her strength and courage. I loved her at the beginning of the movie. Before she met John Smith and became really boring...She was such a free spirit, running through the woods and paddling down that river and waterfall without a care in the world. She seemed like such a fun person! I would give anything to be able to live like that! So free and doing whatever I wanted and running around in the wild! Jumping off cliffs! It all looked so magical. Well, then she met John Smith and devoted her time to making peace between the people, blah blah blah. Yeah, she did some great deeds, but she just got so serious and not much fun anymore. That's why she's so low on my list. I can't relate to her all that much, and she honestly doesn't enchant me as much as the other princesses do.
9. Tiana
I really like Tiana, I do, but yet again there are other princesses who just enchant me meer and fill my life with meer magic than she did. I can relate to Tiana. I too can be a workoholic but this girl needs to relax and have some fun! She's a super hard worker and I really really admire her determination. This girl has nerves of steel and that's something that I strive to be. I want to be as strong and resilient as she was. What bothers me about her is that she kinda acted like she was too mature to have fun. My favoriete character in that movie is actually Charlotte. She's so interesting and has a really bubbly personality! I love her. I guess I don't adore her like I do the other princesses is because I don't really like her movie and her personality just never came through to me, not that she doesn't have one. Tiana, although not my favoriete princess, is one of my role models. She is so hard-working and she never gave up. She's like the epitome of what determination and keeping your head held high can get you.
8. Snow White
This was probably one of the first Disney films I've ever seen and I fell in love with Snow White immediately. She's such a charming person and she's so naive and sweet in the cutest way. She's probably the sweetest nicest person u will ever meet, and that is exactly what is kind of annoying. She can be so easily manipulated with her naive and unjudging mind and she'll definitely be taken advantage of if she had run into the wrong people. While her naiveness and freshness is captivating and charming for most of the movie, sometimes it can get downright annoying. Like, why would u eat an appel, apple from some random stranger? Did she actually believe that it would make all her dreams come true? It also bothers me that she's 14 years old and all she dreams about is marrying a prince. Being a bit of a feminist, I wanna shake my head at her and tell her that she should do something on her own for once and be meer independent. But, she was the first princess in an era where women were stereotypicaly at home pagina and married so I shouldn't judge her that harshly. I still adore her sweet personality and her forgiving heart.
7. Rapunzel
ok I just immediately loved her after watching her movie and she was higher up on my lijst at some point. But now, after a while I realize she can be kinda annoying at times. I still love her! and I think her movie had a lot of that old Disney magic in it that really moved me. Just, she can be really naive in an annoying way at times. She gets super hyper and trusted Flynn right away. If she had ,like Snow White, run into the wrong people, she would have been manipulated and went home pagina with a broken hart-, hart forever. I really love how she finally rebelled against Gothel in the end and stood up for herself. Probably the reason Rapunzel isn't higher up now is that she gives off the effect of being ditzy and clumsy at times. She's not the most refined of graceful girl out there, but that makes her oh so cute when she's not being annoying xD
6. Aurora
I'm gonna start out and say that I absolutely LOVE this girl. Probably from this point, these princesses are seperated door smaller and smaller margins as we get further on. Aurora was sooooo beautifully animated and so elegant and graceful! She was such a freaking dreamer! I can relate to her like that. She dreamed of the outside world and lived in her imagination at times. Sometimes, I feel like I do that. She's so lovely and if we had gotten to know her more, I'm sure her personality would have been all the meer wonderful! The few glimpses of her personality we got to see, she's a kind-hearted, forgiving, gentle, and beautiful inside out! I would love to be vrienden with her! She probably has a vivid imagination and can talk hours on end of all she dreams about and all her hopes! When she wanders through the woods and sings is my favoriete part. The woods seemed so magical and beautiful. There's no way to describe it in words! Everything was so perfect especially when Phillip came and they started dancing to Tchaikovsky in the woods <3
5. Cinderella
I love Cinderella so darn much! She's so hard working and hopeful. Like Aurora, she dreams and is a believer. Her story has enchanted me and entertained me for years and I still get anxious and nervous when the mice are getting the key up the stairs. Her story is timeless and her simple and uncomplicated personality makes her very likeable. She is higher on the lijst than Snow White because she actually seems meer mature and seems meer responsible and a bit smarter. My favoriete scene with her is when she is transformed into a beautiful princess door the fairy godmother. God, that scene never gets old! Cindy is just a sweet and beautiful person inside and out. I guess people are gonna find me weird for having so many classic princesses higher on my list, but I love the classics. The classics never get old and the original princesses have been a part of my life for such a long time. Disney wouldn't be the company it is right now without them.
4. Mulan
There is not one thing that is NOT awesome about Mulan. She is a kick butt warrior princess who FREAKING SAVED A COUNTRY! What's not to love? She's brave, she's courageous, she can beat u up and she's got a dragon for a sidekick! Mulan was always meer of a feminist princess and I love that. She shows girlpower and that girls can be heroes and save the world too. I admire her SO MUCH for taking the place of her father and going off to war. That would take a WHOLE LOT of courage. She was determined and hard working and NEVER turned back. She trained and stuck with it and became the best soldier on the camp. Mulan has been one of my best role models. I want to be as selfless and as hardworking as she was. And I'm not saying hard working like Tiana was, Mulan had to freaking train at a men's soldier camp while being told she wasn't good enough. She lived in terrible conditions and was under IMMENSE pressure. I'm sure 99 percent of us would have backed out before the final battles. Probably my only issue is that her story barely has any magic of romance.
3. Jasmine
I hate when people talk about jasmijn like she's a biatch and a total spoiled brat. She's not! She stands up for herself and really is a lovely person! u would be rather irritable too if u were locked in the same place your whole life without seeing the amazing outside world! Probably my favoriete part of jasmijn is when she escapes and is in the marketplace. Jasmine's world seems so magical and it would be AMAZING to live in the ancient Arab world. The streets are lined with merchants and everywhere there are the coolest things! The way her eyes light up at every new things she sees just makes me have a huge wage of nostalgia every time. I love how jasmijn wants to marry for love and doesn't care that Aladdin isn't a prince in the end. She has so much love in her heart, and showed that she can be just as tough and brave as guys. jasmijn doesn't take any crap from anybody and I love when she threw that wine in Jafar's face! She's just so awesome.
2. Ariel
Oh the adorable lovely Ariel. Do I have to say how much I FREAKING LOVE HER so much? First of all, she's a mermaid which is amazing. She wants adventure and is so rebellious! Every teenager can relate to her! She is so lovable soooo adorable and her story just makes my hart-, hart melt every time! I love Ariel's bubbly and fun personality! Her defiance and her irresponsibility at times makes her so real! The way she wants meer and wants to be a human is magical and enchanting. My favoriete scene of her is the part of your world scene. She is so graceful swimming around and THAT VOICE. omg Jodi Benson FOREVER!!!!! <3 Ariel has her fair share of flaws which make her memorable and the opposite of bland. Probably the reason I love her so much is how much she can love at the young age of 16. She made some irresponsible decisions, but in the end she changed and realized just how much her family meant to her. She did everything to save Eric and she took risks in life! I love her willingness to risk it all for love. She would have gegeven up EVERYTHING if she had failed! Her heart, her determination, her flaws, her passion, her defiance are all what make Ariel mean SO MUCH to me. Ariel is the whole package. She has hope and is your typical flawed teenager but she is meer than that. She is passionate and sticks with her decisions. Her love and passion for everybody is probably the most amazing thing ever. Her dreams and hopeful mind just makes me love her so much.
andddd number one issssss
u guessed it xD
BELLE <3
No matter how much I just love lovelove Ariel for her adorableness and loving heart...Belle will ALWAYS ALWAYS be my number one princess forEVER. I can always relate to Belle the most and she's just beyond words AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I love how she totally threw Gaston out of her house and doesn't let ANYBODY tell her what to do! She has her own dreams and her OWN MIND and she will do what it takes to make them come true. That is something that I strive to do everyday and Belle is one of my best role models. Her love for her father just melts my hart-, hart and gets me close to tears. Her faith and loyalty make her all the meer awesome. She was just your average country girl with a big hart-, hart and huge ambitions. Everybody just wanted to live the average life, get married have kids blah blah blah the works. But NO SIR, NOT ME! I want much meer than this provincial life! That's one of the things that makes me love Belle so much. She refuses to conform to society and dances to the her own rhythm. Belle probably has the biggest hart-, hart and the most patient personality. She changed a beast into a loving prince and although he looked terrifying, she was willing to look beyond that. She is the exact opposite of shallow and loves people for who they are. I would just LOVE to be vrienden with Belle. We could talk all dag about fairytales and far off lands and daring swordfights...She is an even bigger dreamer than Aurora, can love just as much as Ariel, and fell in love with the Beast from the inside to the out. For the other princesses, they saw the already handsome prince and fell in love. Not Belle, she had to grow to love the hideous beast and loved him for who he was. She truly deserved her happy ending.
