Okay well I've already done one of these, but that was before I discovered these little "format" everyone's been using which kind of sucked because, well, it's a good format. So here is my redo getting-to-know article.

First Name:Lily, but my real name is Lillian. Don't call me that though. I hate it. Lily is fine.

Country of Origin:Okay, read to be blow away? I'm from Iran. I wasn't born there, I was born in the United states, but both my parents were. For the uneducated who think Iran is the same thing as Iraq and are about to comment, "But there's a war there!": here's a map. Your welcome.

Favorite Disney Movie:Hunchback of Notre Dame and Beauty and The Beast. I can't decide.

I love drawing fairies.

Hobbies:Swimming, reading, singing, playing piano, DRAWING, writing Harry Potter fan fiction, writing my own stories, watching movies, hanging out with my friends.

Music I like:My favoriete artist is Taylor Swift. Her songs inspire me & I just love her voice. I also like Regina Spektor, Adele, Birdy, and Christina Perri. I'm also absolutely in LOVE with American folk muziek and Celtic music. So beautiful.

Movies I like:Obviously Disney, but also other animated movies, like Anastasia and The Prince of Egypt. I'm also a sucker for classic movies,like The Sound of muziek and Gone With the Wind. I also love The Help, Flipped, War Horse, Bridge to Terabithia, the Toy Story Trilogy, Winters Bone, and so many more.

Books I read: My three favoriete book series ever are The Hunger Games, Percy Jackson & The Olympians, and Harry Potter. They are the loves of my life. I also like Flipped, bitter Melon, I Like Him He Likes Her. The most recent book I read was Jane Austen's Emma, and I loved it!

I've held it like this since pre-school.

Something quirky about me:I hold my pencil like this. Yes, it's very strange, but that's me. I also collect shoes with buckles.

People who inspire me:Brigid Vaughn, Taylor Swift, Luna Lovegood, Belle, Walt Disney and my mom.

Sometimes she feels like my best friend.

starlight77 Woah that's weird how you hold a pencil. I don't think wanting to be a lawyer is boring. I think it's an interesting career but I could never go through all the school. DreamyGal I used to hold my pencil in a unique way as well, but for some reason my parents made me write the correct way. I was also writing with my left hand, and they made me use my right instead, thinking that it would make things easier for me if I were right handed. I still do a lot of things with my left hand though, like cutting my food up, and putting on mascara.

Phonocentrism Surrounding The Little Mermaid

A common complaint against Ariel is how she changes herself of gives up her fins, family and world for a guy. This doesn't bother me too much since the film establishes that she desperately wanted legs and life on land even before she saw Eric. Just listen to "Part of That World."

That's not the focus of this artikel though. Another common criticism is how losing her voice and trying to woo Eric anyway sends a message to young girls that u don't need to have opinions of a personality to get a man. That all u need is a pretty face.

So, I watched the movie, and my globaal, algemene opinion is that it is good........not great. I say this because while the characters are nice, and the songs, the story needs some work. There are some plotholes that are jarring, and the fact that most of this takes place in 24 hours is a bit problematic for me. Even the character development and the relationship building could have been better.

Have u ever felt that u were watching yourself up on screen when u watch a Disney Princess movie? I read this book called Disney Girls It is about a group of vrienden who recognize themselves as special people that are like Disney Princesses (they are one and the same). The Disney Princesses here are Paula (Pocahontas), Yukiko (Snow White), Ella (Cinderella), Isabelle (Belle), jasmijn (Jasmine), and Ariel (Ariel).

First of all, I don't own the book series. It was written door Gabrielle Charbonnet.

In the Disney Franchise, Cinderella's ballgown is blue, but that was not always true (hey that rhymes).
In the 1950 film, when Cinderella got transformed into her gown, it was white. When she looked at her reflection in the fountain, it was blue. When they needed products for this movie, some people thought the white japon, jurk looked too much like a wedding dress, so they watched the whole movie over and over again until they came up with something. They saw Cindy's reflection in the fountain, and thought that was a good color, thus, Cinderella's dress is now considered blue.

I know you're not surprised. I love her voice, I think it's very unique. But at the same time it can be extremely annoying. Have u seen the official Disney Princess website?
