Unfortunately my volgende interview is very short and rushed, but I was lucky to get a seconde with the characters from Disney’s Mulan. Mulan and Shang had agreed to talk to me, but then the Emperor called them in for something, so this has to be super quick while they prepare to leave.

(I am trying to be heard and seen as they gather supplies and prepare their horses)

Me : Mulan, who is that girl u see staring straight back at thee if not yourself?

Mulan : The girl's name is "My Reflection" who uses thick powder and red, hot lipstick.

(She laughs as she adjusts a strap and gathers a bag up)

Me : Shang is your mom still alive and if so what does she think of Mulan?

Shang : No, my mom has already dead. If she's still alive, I think she will like Mulan.

(She smiles and Mulan squeezes his hand as walks around him)

Me : Shang, did u think u were gay when u fell in love with the boy Mulan

Shang : (they both stop what they are doing and Shang is blushing) "Well I didn't realize I was gay for him?her? Until I discovered he/she was a girl....I-I'm... I'm so confused."

( They are both staring at me, Shang confused and Mulan looks like she is holding in giggles. So I just go for it and ask the volgende shocker.)

Me : Shang, are u gay?

Shang : "Gay?!? Umm, errr... u mean happy right? Of course I'm happy! Happy as a manly soon-to-be general who's totally in love with his wife, yes, a wife - a woman! Now let's train for the battle and work out more... Of course we need to be shirtless to get our head in the game.. No homo!"

(Mulan is doubled over in laughter and Shang is muttering and not looking at me now)

Me : Mulan, Would u like to become a kung fu teacher?

Mulan : Leave it to Shang, he knows better how to train the soldiers. But I would love to teach children.

Me : Mulan, what would u do if u saw another naked man?

Mulan : I see a naked man every night since I married Shang and I do whatever I want ALL NIGHT (laughs) wink wink nudge nudge!

(This gets meer blushes from Shang, but he does smile again)

Me : Shang, what is your tip to looking SO DAMN FINE all the the time?

Shang : Well, I stay healthy and fit. Plus I look up to Captain Von Trapp as my role model.

(They nod politely at me and get on their horses preparing to leave. I wave to them till I can only see spots in the distance and then turn to leave)
