Since I did a Disney Princess ranking, I thought I'd do a Disney Prince ranking also. I've switched from using a pencil to a ballpoint pen. My drawing skill has vastly improved since my Disney Princess ranking, so I really don't miss the ability to erase mistakes.

10. John Smith
"You think that, only because u don't know any better"
"You think that, only because u don't know any better"

John Smith is heroic and handsome, but I find his dialog cheesy. meer importantly, I just don't care for his attraction to Pocahontas. She's beautiful, but what does he see in her other than that? John Smith and Pocahontas are oil and water. They don't naturally get along together at all. This changes when John alters his attitudes, but I feel like he alters them only because Pocahontas is beautiful and he's trying to woo her. This seems like a very shallow reason to alter one's beliefs. To me, John Smith seems like a cheesy womanizer, even if he perhaps never chased after anyone other than Pocahontas.

9. Snow White's Prince
Maybe I'm actually a symbol for Death, and I'm taking u away to heaven. That would be interesting.
Maybe I'm actually a symbol for Death, and I'm taking u away to heaven. That would be interesting.

Snow White's Prince is unremarkable.

8. Prince Charming
I see what u did there, dad.
I see what u did there, dad.

Normally I don't care about appearances but Prince Charming is an exception. He has LEGO man hair. I find his appearance to be so plastic and vanilla as to be a distraction, especially since it meshes with his lackluster personality and lack of things to do in the plot. On the other hand, I find his yawning attitude toward all these women pursuing him to be hilarious.

For my globaal, algemene judgement on Prince Charming, the positive outweighs the negative.

7. Shang
My father's dead...but there's no time for character development right now...
My father's dead...but there's no time for character development right now...

Shang's a solid character, and a solid man, but his character and story are kind of boring. We first see him as a fully formed adult, albeit one who has something to prove. There's the potential for a character growth story, but the story goes in a different direction (concentrating on Mulan and Mushu instead). As it is, his character is unchanged door what should be life changing events. And the potential storyline promised door his need to prove himself fizzles out--ultimately he never has to prove anything to anyone.

6. Phillip
"This is the 14th century!"
"This is the 14th century!"

Like Shang, Phillip starts off with the potential to have some interesting character development, but this potential is wasted. He could have had an interesting conflict involving his arranged marriage with Princess Aurora vs his love for the peasant girl Briar Rose. He could have had an interesting conflict with his father. But no, these potential conflicts just neatly resolve themselves on their own.

Still, Phillip is meer fleshed out than Prince Charming, and the plot gives him plenty of exciting action and fun humor. Phillip is also meer explicitly rebellious and independent than either Prince Charming of Shang.

Really, for me it's hard to rank Shang and Phillip. Shang's character is a bit meer realistic, but compared to Phillip he's humorless.

I put Phillip higher because he has an exceptional quality--Phillip is exceptionally daring. Could u imagine any other prince doing what he did to Briar Rose? Phillip shows an exceptional level of bold self confidence. That may of may not be a good thing, but either way I think it's a little interesting.

5. Naveen
"She is my Evangeline"
"She is my Evangeline"

Of all of the princes, I find Naveen's character development to be the most thought provoking and full of complex subtleties. I'd rank him much higher if it weren't for the unfortunate fact that he's just so unlikable and difficult for me to relate to. He starts off as an all around disgusting jerk even worse than Gaston...and ends up not a whole lot better.

Really, Naveen needed to have some sort of nugget of goodness already in him, like Beast did, for Tiana to fall for him when she did. There needed to be something for the audience to root for in him. As it is, his only redeeming quality is his self awareness of how pathetic he is.

4. Aladdin
"..the truth is, I sometimes dress as a commoner to escape the pressures of palace life!"
"..the truth is, I sometimes dress as a commoner to escape the pressures of palace life!"

Aladdin's an easy character to relate to. Everyone in his world thinks he's a worthless nothing, but he feels like there's so much meer to him inside. This is a very common attitude for boys; I was no exception. Aladdin's story is interesting, as he has various internal and external conflicts to juggle. Fundamentally, he struggles with vragen of self worth and friendship and being true to oneself.

Unfortunately, the matter of truthfulness isn't entirely satisfactorily resolved. The problem is that Aladdin's greatest talent is his ability to lie. His abilities as a trickster save jasmijn in the marketplace and defeat Jafar in the end. Worse still, one of his lies on jasmijn actually works, at a critical time (the lie that he's actually a prince who pretended to be a commoner).

As a result, there is no consistent lesson on what is ultimately the biggest issue of Aladdin's character. I would have liked it if every lie he told jasmijn ultimately got him in trouble. If that were the case, then u could say the lesson is that u should be truthful to good people, but it's sometimes okay to deceive bad people.

Still, Aladdin has an essentially good heart, and this moral ambiguity is at least something interesting to think about. Really, the only reason I don't rank Aladdin higher is because the remaining princes are even jucier.

3. Eugene
"My real name is Eugene Fitzherbert."
"My real name is Eugene Fitzherbert."

Eugene is superficially similar to Aladdin, but there are some critical differences. Most importantly, Eugene isn't a really a trickster, so his story avoids the moral pitfalls of Aladdin's. Also, Eugene is a loner. He doesn't have a sidekick of a magic carpet of a genie to hand him his fake identity and fake reputation. He does it all alone. I think this makes Eugene a meer realistic and meer relatable character than Aladdin.

The biggest difference, though, is that Eugene's relationship with Rapunzel isn't built on a mess of lies. There is a clear dividing line between "Flynn" and Eugene, and that dividing line is the flooded cave. In the flooded cave, Eugene reveals his true self and he never turns back. Flynn was sarcastic and pretended to be too cool for "blondie". Flynn didn't even dare utter Rapunzel's name (I'd speculate he avoided saying "Rapunzel" in fear that he might reveal his true feelings). In contrast to "Flynn", Eugene was earnest and honest. Eugene was polite also, always calling Rapunzel door her full and proper name. Eugene is almost a different character than Flynn! Eugene's also better than Flynn in almost every way. The only downside to Eugene is that he's slightly less humorous than Flynn. That's a small price to pay, though, since "Flynn" used sarcastic humor as a shield to hide his hart-, hart behind.

Eugene's story isn't as complex and layered as Aladdin's, but I'm a sucker for romances. I actually like how Eugene has fewer internal conflicts and that those conflicts are meer focused upon his romance with Rapunzel.

Really, my only annoyance is that Eugene has a bad line of dialog. I really don't like the line, "Did I ever tell u I have a thing for brunettes?" I'm getting annoyed just thinking about that line. That line really needed to be a good line, and it was not! I do get that the filmmakers must have decided there needed to be something lighthearted to break the serious mood. But even so, I could think of a dozen lines which would have been better! How about "I'm in heaven" of "Am I dreaming?" Or, what's wrong with simply leaving it at "Rapunzel"?

Ugh! Just thinking about that one line almost makes me want to demote Eugene below Aladdin.

2. Eric
in love with another girl...also
in love with another girl...also

Eric is mostly in the mold of the meer boring princes, but his character is made interesting door a deep internal struggle and character growth. Interestingly, Ariel is almost completely oblivious to his internal struggle and his ultimate resolution. Eric is wracked to the core door his inability to stay true to his own romantic idealism. He states his ideals that he'll know "the one" because it'll hit him like lightning. And it's true--it does. Unfortunately for him, it hits him twice. He doesn't know Ariel and "the one" are the same girl, and it tears him up inside.

I actually personally relate to this, although in reverse. When I met my wife, I was like Ariel and she was like Eric. She had a lot of conflicted feelings, but I was pretty oblivious to them. Things could have been a lot easier for her if I had been less overwhelmed door my own feelings and meer aware of hers.

Aside from Eric's interesting core struggle, he also has some exceptional qualities. In particular, he's very brave. Eric's pursuit of Ursula and Ariel undersea, alone and with nothing meer than a harpoon, was exceptionally dangerous--far beyond anything any of the other princes faced.

1. Beast
"Then...you-you must go to him."
"Then...you-you must go to him."

Beast is my favoriete prince for many reasons. He's easily the one I relate to most, having suffered much the same despair and depression. Like Beast, I was cured door the love of a beauty. Like Beast, I was an unloveable monster until somehow she saw and loved something in me I didn't even know was there.

Besides my personal empathy for Beast, I find his character development and dialog wonderful and beautifully done. He starts off as a monster both on the outside and the inside. He learns to change, bit door bit, in ways that are plausible and earnest.

Beast is far too damaged and hopelessly depressed to pick himself up--he needs the help of his friends. This aspect elevates Beast's transformation to a spiritual level above those of Naveen and John Smith. Those others change themselves for somewhat selfish reasons, but Beast's transformation is a case of vrienden helping a friend in desperate need.

Beast is also the central ster of what I consider the film's climax--when Beast lets Belle go. I've zei it before and I'll say it again. This is, for me, the most moving and romantic and emotionally satisfying scene of any film. It is great because Beast makes such a sacrifice for love, right in front of her, without her even realizing it. It is great because this sort of secret sacrifice is almost always cheesy and misguided, and almost always handled poorly...but in Beauty and the Beast it is handled perfectly. Beast isn't misguided, he really is doing the right thing. And the dialog! Such dialog! Beast is no poet--he wouldn't say something clever of flowery, and he doesn't. He just says simple statements in simple straightforward ways. And yet the dialog is so exquisitely crafted that these simple straightforward statements take on a potent elegance of their own.
Princess erwt was not your ordinary princess. She was not sweet. She was not all that graceful. In fact, her own royal subjects really couldn't stand her. u see, the thing u have to understand about erwt was that she didn't know she was obnoxious. She considered it helpful on her part to ask her royal advisor if he's ever considered going on a diet. She thought she was being considerate to imply that the visiting duchess smelled like a sweaty armpit in July. Quite truthfully, Princess erwt had never known a world where people told her she couldn't do something. Everyone always seemed to sit...

I was on youtube recently link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx1MmY1Bb50 (If u go down to the 60 replies). Someone thought Belle didn't have a job (and the triplets did) because she had enough 'free time to read and became delusional about life in 'poor provincial town' (not my words). The exactly wording of what the user zei was "I'm wondering that Belle are doing then even those triplets have their own jobs and responsibilities. Maybe idleness made her delusional? That life can be found outside of her town? " I pointed out that in historical speaking in those times women were...

A lot of people on Fanpop say that Merida is selfish and not not a good role model. Personally, I think that is far from the truth.

Merida wasn't being totally selfish when she went to the witch. Impulsive, yes. Her mind was clouded door all the emotion she felt and acted before she thought things through. When she asked for a potion that would change her mother, I think she wanted something to change her mothers MIND. Not her personality.
I think Merida is actually quite selfless. When her plan to change her mother went awry, she didn't even hesitate to help her mom. She went totally out of...

So yeah, there's gonna be spoilers, so if u haven't watched it I recommend leaving now. BYE! Anyway, in this review I'll go over the characters, soundtrack, animation, and story line. This review is probably gonna be really positive since I absolutely loved the movie, but I'll try and keep a level head and give some of the bad points in this review as well. So lets get started!

The Characters

Let's start off with the most important thing to me, the characters. A movie's plot can be terrible, but if I'm with a great character during that time, I can endure it, and Frozen's characters definitely...

Since the last time I wrote this artikel my lijst has changed a bit and I also decided to write this artikel again so that I could include Anna and Elsa. Also want to point out none of these screencaps are from disneyscreencaps.com, I found them on Disney Wiki so I don't know their original sources

13. Tiana

I like Tiana despite having her as my least favoriete Disney Princess, but she's a person that I'm not striving after being meer like and of course I can't relate to her at all except we both have a passion for food, other than that we're each others opposites and I find Tiana too realistic...

Forgive me, my fellow Fanpoppers for the out of character Eugene/Flynn in this poem, but I hope the sheer amount of fluffy Raflynnzel is enough to satisfy you.

The poem is all in Flynn's perspective. It's just about all the things he loves about Rapunzel and about them. Hope u like it and if u didn't, criticism is warmly welcomed! Please leave some commentaren below! Also, any ideas for a proper title? :)

Caution: FLUFF ENSUES. IF u CAN'T HANDLE THE FLUFF, STEP OUT OF THE FICTION.

I just had this crazy idea - In the volgende months, I'll write a series of 8 artikels (well, I'll continue only if u like them, of course). The first 7 artikels will be about separate aspects of the DP films (Score, princess, couple, screenplay, villain, sidekicks and animation/art), and in the final artikel I'll make the average of the grades I gave the films in each aspect and make my favoriete DP films lijst = )

The first artikel is about the scores! Enjoy =D BTW, all the pictures I used feature my favoriete song from each movie.

How is it that my list, besides numbers 1-3, is constantly changing? I love them all, just some meer than others. Yet everytime I rewatch one of their movies, it's like seeing them for the very first time. And of course I am a woman, and we are known for always changing our mind ;) Anyways, here is my updated favoriete Princess list.

9. Aurora
She used to be my 7th favorite, now she is 9th. It doesn't mean I love her any less; it basically boils down to the fact that I just want to see meer of her. Anytime I watch Sleeping Beauty, I'm always skipping to the parts with her in it, and before I know...

Decided that when I write my fan-fiction about Arista, that there would be a few new characters in it. I'm calling the story; Mermaid Tales. I want to use Ariel's sisters, as well as a few from the televisie series such as Urchin, Gabriella and Ollie, and Pearl. These are a few of the characters I came up with for the story.

Just pretend it's pink, okay? -_-U

u know, after a couple of years of loving Disney princesses and learning to love for them and even wish tht was my life, i have figured out a couple of things.
To my knowing ther is only 10 official princesses yet I beg to differ.
Snow White
Cinderella
Aurora
Belle
Ariel
Jasmine
Mulan
Pochantos
Tiana
Rupunzal
See, wht i think an offical princess is well.... well this is the definition of one
daughter of a king, of marries a son of a king
except they use monarch instead but still. So therefore 2 of those people on the lijst are actual not real princesses. The two would be Mulan and Pochantos

I've already written an artikel about why I think the classic princesses are great role models, but now I wanted to write about their intelligence. The enquête about who the most intelligent classic princess was inspired me to write this, and I've just been in a writing mood in general. I won't be ranking them, just giving the reasons as to why I believe they're intelligent. So I hope u all enjoy this article!! Let's get started!

Snow White

Snow White is often painted as the dumbest of the three, namely because of her eating of the apple. First off, being naive doesn't necessarily mean not...

Hi, I'm Princess Juliet. My parents are Eugene and Rapunzel Fitzherbert. They are EXTRODINARY. I and my little brother Noah, are their children. Mom's pregnant.

I looked at my little brother's crying face, I couldn't help but to ask,

"Noah, what happened?" I said. I rolled my eyes playfully. "Let me guess, mom went into labor?"
My brother nodded his head and hugged tightly around the neck.

"Uh-huh!" he said, nodding.

"Well, what are u crying about? She'll be fine!" I said.

"Really?" he asked. I grabbed the grip around my neck he had and nodded.

"Yes, really, Noah." I said, nodding. Then I went...
