In the volgende months, I'll write a series of 8 artikels (well, I'll continue only if u like them, of course). The first 7 artikels will be about separate aspects of the DP films (Score, princess, couple, screenplay, villain, sidekicks and animation/art), and in the final artikel I'll make the average of the grades I gave the films in each aspect and make my favoriete DP films lijst = )

This is the seconde artikel in the series "Animaluco's top, boven 10". It covers all DP Movies' screenplays! Enjoy!

10. Cinderella - 6,75

This movie's screenplay has nothing special. Though it doesn't toon any continuity/logical problems (not that I have noticed), it has nearly no action (only a tension moment in the last minutes) and there are way too many unnecessary scenes with the mice. Somethings happen too slow and somethings happen too fast (like its ending).

09. Aladdin - 7,0

I thought about putting this in the #10 spot, somehow forgiving Cinderella's filler parts for being an older movie, but my intention was to rank the films from an objective point of view, so I think Aladdin's screenplay is slightly better because it definetely doesn't lack in action. However, out of all the Disney Movies, this one has the biggest logical problems. I could spend hours naming them, but the single fact of Jafar not recognizing Aladdin is enough to make the plot stupid.

08. The Princess and the Frog - 7,5

The first 25 minuten of the movie are perfect. Everything moves fast and clearly. However, as everybody knows, the middle part of the movie is filled with filler scenes and filler songs, and the last moments lacked a lot in action compared to other DP Movies. And it still has some logical problems, like I wrote link.

07. Sleeping Beauty - 7,75

This screenplay doesn't have any clear logical problem, though it was kinda forced when the fairies left Aurora alona exactly in the dag Maleficient's spell was about to be cursed. Besides, the middle part can be kinda slow and boring, specially if u don't appreciate its classic score.

06. Beauty and the Beast - 8,0

This was the first Disney Animated Movie to have its screenplay completed before the animatie was started, but I don't think it has one of Disney's best screenplays, because it has serious issues with the time thing. The time Belle spent in the kasteel is enough for a season to pass, but it doesn't seem to take much time since Maurice left the kasteel and went there again. And did Lefou really stay all that time in Belle's door? The screenplay also makes a mistake door dedicating too much time to the initial scenes and it lacks a better development in the couple's relationship.

05. Pocahontas - 8,25

This screenplay is OK. Not a lot of filler parts (in fact, the scenes with Meeko and Percy were necessary as comic relief), and all the scenes seem to have a function in the story. The biggest problem was the excuse they found to start the battle between the natives and the english men - Why on earth would the indians hide that gold?

04. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - 8,5

Some of u may think this one is a bit too high, but I disagree. It doesn't have any logical problems and it has a nice final action scene. Its only problems are 2 scenes with the dwarfes that are too long - The first one when they get home pagina and discover that someone's at the house and the seconde during their bath.

03. Mulan - 9,0

This movie has a very clean and clear screenplay, with definite acts and nearly no filler scenes. I am putting it behind the volgende 2 films because one of the final elements - The huns emerging from the snow seemed a bit too forced as an excuse to continue with the story.

02. Tangled - 9,25

Tangled has an amazing screenplay. It has not a single filler scene and I think that it has the element that avoided the movie to flop like PatF. In fact, a movie released in 2010 has to manage to keep the audience atention during all the scenes, and Tangled manages to do that, including amazing action scenes. I'll put it in #2 because of how easily Mother Gothel seemed to discover that Rapunzel left the tower with Flynn. And how Rapunzel managed to hide that crown during a whole day.

01. The Little Mermaid - 9,50

u people can complain because this is #1 in my lijst again, but I can't find a single problem in this screenplay. This movie flows clearly and fast, with meer action scenes than any animated movie released upon 1989 - In fact, it started the tradition of having action scenes before the climax in animated movies. It has no filler parts and not a single logical problem. All the parts that could bring boring scenes (like the tour in the city) were shorten the maximum. However, I won't give it 100% because of the song "Les Poissons" -It was very funny, but a bit unnecessary.
Here are the lyrics to a song I learned from my muziek teacher growing up. We'd act it out using her spinning wheel, and none of the girls could ever wait to be Aurora. Even though I didn't like her back then, I still wanted the chance to touch the spinning wheel. I thought it was fitting I post this, it being Aurora maand and all. So, in honor of our own Brier Rose, here's the Irish folk song "Fair Rosa":

Fair Rosa was a lovely child,
A lovely child, a lovely child,
Fair Rosa was a lovely child
A long time ago.

A wicked fairy cast a spell,
Cast a spell, cast a spell,
A wicked fairy...

10. Snow White's Awakening
Although the scene was very touching with Snow White awakening, it lacked a lot of substance. The Prince seemed to come out of know where after barely appearing in the movie at all. I feel like there was a big gap in this plot, but it's still beautiful nonetheless.

9. Cinderella Fits the Glass Slipper
I'm sure we can all say that we were extremely happy when Cinderella fit the glass slipper, and the evil step mother's plan failed. However, it was fairly predictable and Cinderella and Prince Charming barely even knew each other so it definitely made the moment...

hallo guys! So for the maand of June I'm taking this drama class at a professional Shakespeare theater. We'll also be putting on a production of Twelfth Night. It's going to be so amazing!! Anyway, today our assignment was to come dressed as a clown. Basically create a character and multiply it door 10. So naturally, being the disney geek that I am, decided to create a disney princess clown. I would just like to share her story that I created with u guys. Let me know if u like the idea of not.

My name is Princess Sophia. I am 16 years old and married to Prince Alex. We live in Sunflower fields...

We all know that each Disney princess is beautiful in her own way. And to ensure the beauty of the female leads, animators often drab down while designing the female co-stars to help the leading lady shine. Let's see who fanpop's Disney Princess fans voted from least pretty to prettiest supporting character in a princess film. For those wondering, the qualifications for being a supporting character were u had to have a line in the film and contribute to the plot somehow which is why only the two of Ariel's sisters that tell Triton that Ariel's in love were counted.

9. Anastasia (Cinderella)...

Personality
Belle is a young woman living in the French countryside with her father, an inventor. She's a lovely free-thinker who likes to read and go on adventures within her own imagination. She is not shy and is not afraid to speak her mind, especially in tight situations. She is very compassionate and takes care of those in need. Belle can also be stubborn, but she tries to protect people she truly loves and is very patient towards others.
Belle is a shrewd nonconformist for her time in many ways. The most pronounced is her love of books, adventure and knowledge, which the townspeople find...

10. Snow White- Her hair is just soooo boring. It's so short and weird. Her face was beautiful though. It makes me mad cause they could of made her so gorgeous with long hair. I know it was made in the 30's though so that makes it okay.

9. Rapunzel- I know what u are thinking. I'm stupid for putting her so low on the list.. it's just I don't like her hair... It's waaay too long and it looked so unnecessary to have it that way. And then they cut it short and it looks so bad. Why didn't they just cut it to her waist? Then it would be perfect. And much higher on the list.

8. Tiana- Ehh.. I think...

10. Dr. Facilier

Definitely the weakest DP villain in my opinion. I spent the first half of the movie unsure of what his goal and motivation was. He just kind of seemed like a creepy hobo who lurks about and casts random voodoo spells. He kind of seemed like an after-thought in the grand scheme of the story, there was no great climactic battle. His scene in which he tries to tempt Tiana is basically pointless because we know that the princess would never just hand...

I watched all of the movies, the sequels, The Little Mermaid series, and the Aladdin series yes I'm judgeing them on sequels and series too. I relized that some of them aren't as smart as some people think and some of them are smarter than some people think. Keep in mind this is my opinion I bet alor won't agree with some of this but since when does someone make a lijst of an opinion that every single person agree's with.

Well, and what are u three dears up to

I thought it would be good to see in which order are vorige hairstyles eliminated. I would specially like to thank to all people who were voting, because we had some issues, like rigging and that, so I have to redo half of this, but I hope that results are almost fair

40.Mulan’s soldier updo:
“It's not pretty, she looks like a guy which is kinda the point” (KataraLover)

This hairstyle was eliminated with 50% among 40 other hairstyles in the first round. No wonder, I mean, look at it

39. Ariel with hat:
“She looks like Icabod Crane” (founten)

Some people don't even remember...

It's not just about the way they look and this is just my opinion. Only the ones without a beschrijving were mainly chosen based on their looks. This is just a short artikel I have in store for u guys, enjoy!

Zooey Deschanel as Snow White
I know Zooey's a little old to play Snow White but I love this quirky girl. She has fair skin and most people love her unique singing voice.

Scarlett Johansson as Cinderella

Candice Swanepoel as Aurora

Ariana Grande as Ariel
Ariana has a bubbly personality and her singing voice is very pleasant to the ears. She has Ariel's facial expressions and...

In order as they voted on fanpop:
 Simple and comfy
Simple and comfy

9.Pocahontas: The main flaw of this ocher dress is that it is very simple. Well it has to be since she lives in nature, runs all the time and jump into the river. Perhaps Pocahontas doesn’t have huge, amazing gown, but she have nice and comfy dress and she sure had better time in it then some other princesses in their dresses.
 roze and puffy
Pink and puffy

8.Ariel: I mean, what were they thinking?! Red hair and roze dress. No, no, no! Were those who draw her dress lazy, of was the royal wardrobe empty, I don’t know. However, the dress clashes...
