"Watch THIS!" Merida exclaims, pulling back her arrow and releasing it, hitting the bull's eye on the target. A round of applause follows, but jasmijn sighs and Ariel rolls her eyes. Merida has been shooting various objects for the past two hours like she does everyday to toon off her archery skills.
"And I'll betcha I can hit this too!" Merida pulls back her arrow, but before she can release it, Tiana interrupts her.
"Wait! I made some Jambalaya, it's almos' noon. We'd better get diggin' of it's gonna turn bad!"
Everyone looks eagerly at Tiana, then turns back to Merida, who still has her arrow pulled back, ready to shoot. She's looking over her shoulder back at the girls. "But I ain't done shootin' yet."
"Come on, Merida. A break will do u good." Belle comes up and puts her hand on Merida's shoulder. "You can shoot even straighter volgende time."
Merida sighs and puts down her bow and arrows. "Alright, but ye girls promise t' finish seeing meh shoot after we're done Tia's Jambalaya?"
A chorus of reluctant promises greet her words, and the girls follow Tiana into the dining room. Each girl sits down in her own spot, and Tiana brings out the food.
"Oh, Tia, is that... is that... SEAFOOD I see!?" Ariel gasps, pointing at the pot Tiana just set on the table.
"Ariel, I told u it ain't jambalaya wit'out seafood!" Tiana replies, then sighs. "I have some special seafood-free gumbo fo' you." Tiana produces a bowl and hands it over to Ariel.
Merida puts a spoonful of jambalaya in her mouth and nearly spits everything out. "Mulan, have u been putting spices in my food again?" Tiana shrieks, looking at Mulan calmy eating her food.
"Of course not, Tia. But it's quite nice this way, u know." Mulan replies.
"But that's not possible, you're the only one who's ever done that before!" Tiana says.
"Actually, it's me" Rapunzel says shyly, hiding behind her hair.
"Punzie, why would u do that? Don't tell me u you've been experimenting with our food again." Belle asks, astonished.
"I didn't mean to, I was painting this morning, and I set my paint jars on the keuken-, keuken counter. I was reaching for one of them when I accidentally knocked the spices over and into your Jambalaya." Rapunzel said.
Everyone groaned. "Heh, since we can't eat Tia's Jambalaya, can us go see meh shoot some more?" Merida asked eagerly.
"Actually, I just remembered Aladdin's taking me to Egypt on Carpet to sightsee. Sorry!" jasmijn blurts and scrambles out of the room, calling for Aladdin.
"Um, I'm going canoeing with Meeko." Pocahontas zei bolts out of the room.
"Me and Philip are going to see Aunt Flora, Fauna and Merryweather!" Aurora walks out of the room slowly.
"Actually, nobody's going anywhere." a new voice says. The remaining girls turn around in alarm. They watch as Aurora, Pocahontas and jasmijn are herded back in the room. And behind them, towering menacingly over the three girls is Hades.
