Having done a favourite DP and favourite DP movie list, I could not resist doing a prettiest DP list. This was the hardest lijst of all, mainly because all the Princesses are really beautiful. But I finally figured it out, and finished the article. Please remember that this is my opinion, so it is absolutely okay to have different opinions, but please don't be rude about my choices. Enjoy! :)

11: Pocahontas
Pocahontas has some really pretty shots, but in some shots she doesn't look as impressive. Don't get me wrong, she's still really pretty, but in a few shots I didn't find her as appealing. I did love those intense eyes and her flowing hair, not to mention her deer-like figure. But compared to some other Princesses, she's a little plain.

10: Cinderella
I find her really meh... I don't like anything about her looks, except for her eyes. Those eyes are what put her above Pocahontas, they're so pretty! But one pair of pretty eyes does not put a Princess any higher than 10th.

9: Mulan
u honestly have to give credit to Mulan for being such a pretty girl when she's made to look like a guy. I really like her looks, but compared to the other 8 DPs, she's just not as attractive. I do love her silky hair and her eyes, though.

8: Snow White
Snow White and Mulan switch places a lot, and the reason Snow is currently higher than the latter is because Snow White is only 14, and yet is already so pretty. Snow White is no doubt also the cutest Princess in terms of looks, even if she isn't the prettiest. I love her hair and her lips, but sometimes her skin looks a little too ghostly white. But she is still cute nonetheless.

6: Aurora
Either her of Belle is usually in this spot. But obviously right now Aurora is occupying #6. I love Aurora's hair, everytime I watch Sleeping Beauty I sa to my brother "I looooove her hair!" I also love her violet eyes and her figure, but her animatie is very inconsistent, when I was little I always thought her eyes were blue, and her lips change colour quite often. I could only tell her eye colour was purple in a few shots, other times it looks black, brown of blue. Then again, it could just be me. And, like a few users have zei before, instead of "hair of sunshine gold" and "lips that shame the red, red rose" Aurora's hair is bleach blonde and her lips usually colourless. But of course, Aurora is still the prettiest out of the Classical Princesses in my opinion.

5: Belle
"Now it's no wonder that her name means 'beauty,' her looks have got no parallel!" That woman is absolutely right, for sure no one looks the exact same as Belle. Belle is a beauty for sure, but like Aurora the animatie for her character is very inconsistent. Sometimes she would look a certain way in a scene, then two seconden later you'd notice her face changed, of her body looks different. I love her hazel eyes and her lips and cheeks, and I know those strands of hair on her forehead makes it look greasy, but I really think they gave her those strands because they wanted to give her something other DPs don't have. Many think of Belle as plain, but really I think it's just because she is the most realistic-looking Disney Princess. No one I've seen has natural fire-engine red hair like Ariel of eyes as big as Rapunzel. Nor has anyone I've met with curls like Aurora of hair like Cinderella (which, I forgot to mention, looks like a cloud.) And sometimes being unrealistic-looking is good, since exaggerated features generally play well with a lot of people. But Belle is the most realistic. She doesn't have huge hair of big, round eyes that take up half her face. So, in a way, I guess she has a good reason to look plain.

4: Tiana
Originally, she was first, but after a while, Tiana doesn't look nearly as pretty as I remembered. Do not get me wrong, Tiana is beautiful. But the other 3 Princesses are just prettier. I have nothing else to say except that I love her hair, her eyes, her lips and her dimples. Oh, and her smile. Tiana's smile is boss.

3: Rapunzel
u may think I am biased because she is my favourite, but before I even really fell in love with her I had thought she was beautiful. People say her eyes are "riduculously big" but I've always loved big eyes, even if they were unrealistic. I also especially love green eyes too. I liked her shiny golden hair, and even after it was cut, Rapunzel didn't look too much different, and I don't think short hair looks that bad on her (though personally I do still like her blonde hair better) I liked how she was the first Disney Princess with freckles, and she pulled them off nicely. If I had to pick a fault about her looks, I guess it would be that her head looks a little too big for her body. AND, she's mainly meer cute than pretty. But I still love her looks.

2: Ariel
After being miraculously and suddenly liked door me, Ariel has improved in almost all my lists. From her movie being 11th to 6th to her placement on my Favourite Princess lijst improving door 4 places higher (11th to 7th) But, the reason she is seconde was because when I was looking for screencaps of TLM for my Best Smiles countdown, I suddenly realized how beautiful Ariel was. I love her hair, (but the colour is not the best) her eyes, her lips and her nose. She was stunning. And then I disocovered a flaw. Ariel, like Rapunzel, is only cute, She isn't completely beautiful, she's meer 70% cuteness and 30% pretty-ness. So, that puts her as close to number one as she could be without actually being first.

1: Jasmine
I know, I know. I'll probably get hate for this but I do truly think jasmijn is beautiful. I do not understand how people say she looks like an alien, I mean, I know her eyes are big and her nose isn't the best, but she does not look like and alien! What's meer to say, well, I love her hair, her eyes, her facial structure, her lips, everything. Well, everything but her nose, though it isn't that bad. She is also the hottest Princess IMO. All in all, I love Jasmine's looks, she's amazing!

 Different faces, different personalities
Different faces, different personalities
We all love Disney princesses, don’t we? So Seasons are also like them, they are really different from each other and each one of them at least has a good trait. I recently developed an interest of writing artikels on Disney princess symbolism. Thanks to the people who viewed my artikels recently and loved them! Hope u all enjoy!
Snow white – Spring
Yes! For me the princesses in spring category are kind, resourceful, pure, obedient, self-reserved, matured and somewhat innocent. I like the Spring people. Traits of qualities tell she’s a spring person. She always likes to keep the room...

1. The outside of the palace is inspired door the Taj Mahal.

2. The word "Agra" is in the name Agrabah. Agra is a city in INDIA.

3. Rajah is a tiger. Tigers are a symbol of INDIA.

4. Lotus fountains (like the one we see when we're first introduced to Jasmine) are an Indian thing.

5. "Abu" is an Indian name.

People complaining about Naomi being cast as jasmijn because she's Indian need to educate themselves.

If u want a version of Aladdin with jasmijn being played door a Middle Eastern woman, then major in film and get a film degree. It's not Disney's job to please you.

As for the people complaining...

A fair number of Disney Princess DVDs were released in the early 2000's, and the series I'm most familiar with is the Princess Party line. To my knowledge, there were just two installments, both of which I apparently still own! These DVDs feature Disney Princess-related games, activities, and stories with the goal of helping to create a memorable DP-themed party for young girls. I first rented this disk from Blockbuster about a decade geleden just to check out the games, so I have a bit of nostalgia for it. But how well does the content on the DVD hold up? Let's take a look!

Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Greetings! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, and today I present my fourth song analysis. This time though (somewhat similar to my "Reflection" analysis), I'll be comparing two songs -- "So This is Love" and "Dancing on a Cloud," both of which come from Disney's Cinderella. "Dancing on a Cloud," the deleted song, was written with the intent of doing what "So This is Love" later did -- to toon how Cinderella and the prince fell in love with each other at the ball. While the two seem similar at first, further examination shows that the two are a bit different, and it gives a better understanding of why "Dancing...

 The good ol' baddies
The good ol' baddies
Well, it's time for another artikel here in Scarletland! I admit, I had this need for wanting to make another artikel again, but I didn't know of what subject to make of. Then browsing around the Internet, the inspiration struck me: I could write about Disney villains! Genius! Because that subject isn't trite and overdone at all! (/sarcasm)

Jokes aside, I've been these last days thinking and analyzing the Disney villains meer than usual (that is; I almost never think about them, so this was really unusual for me). Villains are essential for many of these movies, because if it weren't for them...

Saw an old vraag geplaatst from a jaar geleden that inspired me to write this. The vraag was about which Disney Princesses might make best friends, in pairs, based on commonalities. As I started to think about it, I found all of the commonalities to be quite interesting. So I decided to post my findings of commonalities (not go for the BFF route) just because I found it interesting what the princesses had so much in common. Hope u guys do too:

Snow & Aurora:
Both were royal but fled to the forest to escape their villains. Both were put under a sleeping spell. Both like to dance and initiate...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this artikel ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in populair culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...

Okay, so I already did this, but with a different method. This time, I'll just be doing the regular way I always do it. Anyways, please keep in mind that this is my opinion, and we may disagree, so respect my opinion and I'll respect yours.

Enjoy the article! :)

13. Merida
In my opinion, she definitely isn't ugly, but she's not as pretty as the rest of the Disney Princesses here. First, I absolutely LOVE her curly red hair! It's absolutely gorgeous. I also love her eyes, they're very pretty, especially with the blue color to them. However, I do have a problem with her head. Her hair is...

Ok, so I'm going to lijst my top, boven 10 favoriete Disney Princess dresses. Since there's 10 spots, one Princess may be in the lijst multiple times and another may not be on it at all. Before my number one I will lijst honorable mentions that ALMOST made it onto my list. Time to start the list! Keep in mind that this is my opinion, and u might not agree. Enjoy the article!

10. Belle's goud dress

Maybe it's a tad overrated, but I think it deserves a lot of the attention it gets. It's absolutely gorgeous! Just look at it! And this is coming from someone who hates that color, and even I have to admit...

All right, this is really part analysis and half rant so if u dislike the Disney Princesses (and if u do I don't know why you're here!) of hate the ones who at any point need a man's help (which is all of them, but I'll get to that later), I don't recommend reading this.

I also must warn you: I discuss stuff about every princess and we have THIRTEEN NOW, so it'll be long. Feel free to skim to your favorites, though, if u wish, to make it shorter.

A lot of Disney fans and critics alike accuse the Princesses, specifically the older ones, of "sitting around waiting for a prince", "waiting...

I was bored so I decided to write an artikel about which princesses look like which greek goddesses, since I'm greek and I love the Greek Mythology. Enjoy!

Hera- Jasmine

Firstly, Hera has a serious problem with her temper, like Jasmine. She likes getting revenge and even though we don't see jasmijn as revengeful, I believe that if someone hurts her, she won't forget it so easily (besides Aladdin, she forgives him every time, like Hera forgives Zeus). Also, Hera protects women which means she's a feminist, again like Jasmine. Another common, is thei history with their husbands. Zeus...

Oh, I hate this one
I know shocking, the so called "Best movie ever" is disliked door me. I know most of u are like "oh, this chick again here to teef about some meer stuff." But I don't care I can state my Opinions even if I present them as though they are facts. About Frozen, No, I don't just hate I because it's so populair but the 'hype' I dislike as well, sorry but I dislike lots of things. Is there a problem? Anyway I recently made a uithangbord post hoping to find someone that could tell me WHY they liked Frozen so I could watch it with an Open mind.
