Least favorite? Am I reading that right? If that's what's going through your mind, then u are not crazy, it really does say that. Your volgende vraag may be, why would u be so negative? Why not just say favoriete Disney Princesses? Well, that's because I've come to notice that the majority of the artikels in the club (mine included) often sugarcoat our opinions, and aren't nearly as critical as they really are. We usually try and be kind when expressing our opinions which is definitely an important thing, but I thought it'd be unique to only talk about the negative traits of the Disney Princesses, even my favorites. Disclaimer: I'm going to be blatantly honest, and quite rude, so please don't be offended if I bash your favorite. I'm also gonna exaggerate my opinions a bit, so if I call a princess annoying please don't be offended because I honestly do love every last one of them. So anyway lets get started!

11. Belle

Belle tries to be too many things in my opinion. People often accuse Rapunzel as being a mixture of all the other princesses, but I feel Belle falls into this category more. Belle is sweet and caring like the Classic Princesses, tries to be defying and sassy like jasmijn of Merida, and also wants adventure like Ariel and Rapunzel. I don't see why they gave her this whole "need for adventure" thing when it didn't even apply to the movie, other than to just try and make her meer relateable. Also, I do see her as a bit of a snob. It's hidden in the movie though, because the movie tries to make her appear as perfect, but it's definitely in there. The entire town basically is interested in her, and she just ignores them, and is rude and makes fun of Gaston (though that is justified). All in all, I like bits and pieces of Belle, I just feel they tried to accomplish too much with her, and it comes off as disingenuous.

10. Ariel

Ariel is here because I can't relate to her, and can't stand behind her decisions. I'm sorry, but I find it a bit stupid and irrational to go to the obviously evil Ursula, the one who was banished from the city, and then make a deal with her. Also the fact that I feel she'd be higher if there was meer of a proper apology scene. It just seems like she doesn't learn much from the ordeal. I also feel she's a bit shallow, but then again that applies to a lot of the Disney Princesses. She's willing to give up her whole life and family for a guy she's never even spoken to? I like Ariel, she's bubbly and fun, but I just can't understand her.

9. jasmijn

This is where I start loving the princesses a lot, so it'll be harder to continue. Anyway, jasmijn is like Ariel in many ways, so again I don't relate to her very much. She is way meer outspoken than I am, and at times is a bit rude. Also, I don't like how she just doesn't care that she was lied to. It's just so out of character and extremely bothersome. Also, she tries to act like she can do everything and is independent, but really she can't do much on her own, and something seems to always go wrong. jasmijn suffers from being not relateable, and contradictory.

8. Cinderella

Cinderella is a bit of a bore to me. There isn't one stand out trait that makes me drawn to her, and although she's really sweet and whatnot, for some reason I feel Snow and Aurora pull it off better. Even though she's the most realistic out of the three, she's almost a bit too realistic for me. Her anger towards her step family, while completely justified, for some reason leaves me....uncomfortable? I don't quite know why, I just know that I hate seeing people in real life angry and flustered, so seeing it on screen just seems strange. Also, I hate to say this, but I feel she gives up a bit too easily. It's just when Lady Tremaine says she can't go to the ball, she kind of just gives up and says she won't go. Cinderella used to be my least favorite, and is definitely growing on me, but she still stays in the bottom four for me.

7. Pocahontas

Six months ago, Pocahontas was my seconde favorite. I love her at the beginning, but I do admit she looses a bit of her personality in the seconde half. It's completely justified; war is happening, her family and her lover in between, but just because it's justified doesn't mean I have to like it. I just desperately wish she could've stayed her playful and adventurous self at the beginning, even if that's unrealistic. Also, it bothers me how she can't make the simplest of decisions; like John Smith. C'mon, just go to your dad and talk it out. I really don't see how that's so difficult. She's awesome, but her situation ends up weighing her down.

6. Merida

Merida suffers from many of the same things as Ariel for me, though I feel she pulls it off better for me. I'm super close to my mom. She's my favoriete person in the world, and I can't imagine my life without her, so it really hits home pagina that she would give her a pie knowing that it would alter her in some way. Yes, she didn't know it would turn her into a bear, but she did know it would do something. Also, she's hard to relate to. I'm anything but rebellious, so Merida is completely opposite in that regard, and her craziness just leaves me a bit exhausted. She's hard to relate to, and a bit irresponsible, leaving her at only sixth.

5. Mulan

Mulan at the beginning is me; lazy, awkward, trying to please others, and I love her so much at that point, but then she becomes all impossibly awesome and I'm just left like "meh." I don't know, I just really wish we could have seen her not be so impossibly super-human, and just see her as her awkward self. It doesn't help that she's been becoming super overrated on this site lately, and has little to no haters, which becomes a bit overwhelming. As a man, she just looses who she is in my opinion a little bit which leaves her at fifth.

4. Tiana

Okay, this is where I start LOVING the princesses, so sorry if I get a bit bias ;D. Anyway, Tiana is a party-pooper. Really, at the beginning of the film she doesn't like to have any fun, and is way too narrow minded. All she sees is getting her restaurant, and while that's admirable, I really wish she'd allow some time for her. She's just too much of a realist, and coming into a Disney Princess movie I don't want realism. Her sass is a nice addition, but seems a bit jarring compared to her original self at the beginning of the movie. All in all, Tia is just too real for me, and needs to let her hair down and have fun!

3. Snow White

Snow White <3 <3 <3 <3 Oh wait, this is supposed to be negative, ahem, sorry. Snow White is so sweet, that at times it's just plain unnatural! It seems as if she puts on a facade, acting as if a smile and a song fixes all of her problems? Also, I'm a bit of a pessimist, so her optimism is hard to relate to. Her entire character is hard to relate to actually, since she's so happy and in high spirits all the time. Also, why would she let the old lady in? That's always my WHAT ARE u DOING! moment. The dwarfs warned her that the queen could be tricky, but she still fell for it! Snow White's sweet to a point that it can hurt her at times.

2. Rapunzel

Rapunzel suffers from a lot, and I mean a lot of the same things Belle does. Than why is Belle my least favorite, while Rapunzel's second? I wish I had a good answer to that question, but I don't. Everyone loves Rapunzel for no apparent reason, and she is a bit of a mash of past princesses. The random love she gets from a bunch of rough thugs is just completely random and unbelievable. Also, she's too much a mixture of Ariel and the classic princesses, and it seems as if the people that made her were trying to construct the "perfect princess", giving her random traits that they thought would be relateable. I love Rapunzel, no doubt, but her flaws are definitely there.

1. Aurora

Aurora's my favorite, but I'll be the first to admit she has her faults. I do agree that sometimes Aurora fans just take the smallest of things and turn it into a "personality trait" but with 20 minuten of screen time it's a bit of a necessity. Also, I do agree that at first glance she is a bit bland, only singing and complaining. She's also a bit disingenuous to me. When she first sees her mom, their guy they share is very "let me get this over with so I can dance with my Prince Charming". Last, her decision making process is wackkkkk. "When will I see u again?" "Never oh never! of tonight, u know, which ever one works for u best" All in all, Aurora's the bomb, but it's meer of a dud than a boom.

That's it. I hope u all enjoyed this article, and I hope u all remember that these are my opinions, and I don't mean to be mean hearted. Also, remember I love all of these girls, including Belle, so these are just little things to me, I just decided to make an artikel to focus on them. So anyway thanks for reading :)

I know I'm a terrible person for doing this but I couldn't resist! Feel free to call me a pig.

Snow White-Kill
I love Snow White, I really do but I wouldn't want to marry her. I mean can't survive a voice like that for the rest of my life. And I certainly wouldn't have sex with her because she's way too young and she's not very attractive. Sorry.

Cinderella-Marry
Duh! Who wouldn't want to marry Cinderella! She cooks, she cleans, she's sweet, she's laid back and she has a wonderful singing voice. Obviously sex comes along with marriage, so it's a win-win. I'd love to have her hand in marriage.

Wow I am way late on this artikel hahaha.

For this movie I'm going to compare it a little to the original Sleeping Beauty and treat it as a standalone film. So for this movie and for the other remakes I'm going to not only talk about what I've been talking about for the animated movies, I'm going to compare the remakes to the originals while trying not to judge it for being not as good as the original.

Tonight's rewatch: Maleficent
Last time watched: Summer of 2014

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
