Hi, I’m Lissabelle (That’s a portmanteau of my first and middle names). I’ve already written one artikel but I got super swamped at school and didn’t have chance to write another. (Well, I wrote a seconde article, reread it and realized I disagreed with nearly everything I zei and then took it down.)

About Me: I love everything from Walt Disney animatie Studios, but the princesses have a special place in my heart. I also love reading and writing. I consider spending time with little kids a special joy and I like to quilt. I am in the honors of AP equivalent of everything that has an honors of AP equivalent (it’s not like there’s Honors lunch). And I’m sure you’ve noticed door now that I am addicted to parentheticals.

Addendums: Like the Genie said, “There are a few, uh, provisos. Ah, a couple of quid pro quo.” Except I’m not talking about wishes, I’m talking about what I consider canon.

I think the creators’ original vision and the final film are the two most important thing to consider when deciding what is and isn’t canon. So I only count the final film and the final script for the film as canon. Deleted scenes and songs are not a part of the final film, so they aren’t technically canon, but they can inform your interpretation of the final film.

Anything that was done door a different studio doesn’t count for me. Since Tangled Ever After is door the original studio, it counts. Disneytoon Studios sequels, TV shows, Disney princess merchandising movies, tie- in books, video games and all those things don’t count. I’m not saying that they aren’t great, but they are derivative works, not originals.

To summarize:
•    Original film: Canon.
•    Final script of the original film: Canon.
•    Alternate studio sequel: Not canon.
•    TV show: Not canon.
•    Merchandise movies: Not canon.
•    Tie-in books: Not canon.
•    Video games: Not canon.

Thanks for reading!

It is no secret the Disney’s Princess franchise is one of the most lucrative for young children today. It is the number one girls’ toy brand in the US and made profits of $4 billion in worldwide sales. Therefore, these characters are going to be role models for countless girls across the world. I want to look at what lessons children can take from these characters and stories that will be positive and why each of these characters can be a positive role model to girls- and boys, for that matter- of any age.

Snow White has incredible emotional strength. She is able to handle everything...

I thought to myself: Why just restrict yourself to their singing? I mean, u have nothing better to do except that entry to that dA contest u keep procrastinating.
All the princesses, sadly, have American accents. Even though most of them aren't American. Goddamnit. Would it kill for Belle to have a sweet French accent and Aurora to have a German one? Jus' sayin'.
Anyway, yes, speaking voices. This took some thought. On with the countdown!
Go find your own fucking swearing warning.

I did not make up this poem. I found it on youtube and I thought it was really cute. I just wanted to share. Hope u enjoy!

Cinderella walked on broken glass

Aurora let a whole lifetime pass

Belle fell in love with a hideous beast

Pocahontas risked her life for a feast

jasmijn could have chose anyone instead she chose a poor man

Ariel walked on land all for love and for life

We come to love not door finding a perfect person, but door learning to see an unperfect person perfectly.

I say this artikel made my sweetie-94 a couple of months geleden and since these are my top, boven two favoriete princesses I thought it'd be a cool idea. Sweetie-94 got this idea from KataraLover who originally made an artikel comparing Ariel and Merida. So, let's get started! :)

Similarities

Aurora and Snow White aren't as similar as most people make them out to be. Personally I find Aurora meer similar to Pocahontas and Elsa, while Snow is meer similar to Anna. They definitely have similarities though. One being the fact that they're kind to everyone they meet, neither seem to have a rude bone in their...
