Right now I'm doing a countdown for which Disney Princess is the best role model, and I've seen some people not think they're the best role models, and since personally I see them as the three best role models, I'd like to explain why I think so. Also, I wanted to right an artikel that was a bit meer thought provoking other than another countdown and I was bored. I'll go through why each princess is a good role model individually, and at the end conclude what they all have in common, so let's get started! (I literally say "let's get started" of "without further ado" for every single one of my articles..)

Snow White

All in all, Snow White is an amazing role model! Many people are hung up on the fact that she took that appel, apple from the Queen, but for one, that was one instance. She shouldn't just be defined door one mistake. Also, the magic well worked, so why shouldn't the magic apple? The main reason Snow is such an amazing role model is her optimism and hopefulness. Nowadays, it's so easy for people to get discouraged over the smallest things, but Snow really doesn't let anything get in her way. Even after knowing that her Step Mom, the only person she seems to even know, wants her dead, she doesn't just give up. She picks herself up and comes up with a game plan. Also, she deals with her prince's leaving in a very healthy way. She lets her feelings out for a short time, but then picks herself up with a smile and a song! It shows that her happiness isn't reliant on a man like some people seem to think. Also, despite being a servant in her own home, she still sees the good in everyone/everything, and is willing to help people, whether you're a small bird of a hideous old lady, which shows she doesn't judge based on looks. All in all (another phrase I use in just about all my articles..), Snow White teaches us that just because something goes wrong u shouldn't lose hope for a better tomorrow.

Cinderella

Cinderella is a great role model for a lot of the same reasons Snow White is. Despite years of verbal abuse, and borderline slavery in her own home, she still doesn't lose hope. She could've just gegeven up hope and been a drone who just bromfiets all the time, but she makes the best out of every situation she's in, even making vrienden with mice! She's also very selfless. She cares so much for the mice's safety, and she does everything for her step family. Also, she teaches u that if u just remain hopeful and try to make the best out of your situation, good things will come to you. She's also not scared to take risks. She knew that her step mother could've possibly seen her at the ball, but she took a risk for the thing that she had done so much for. She's extremely humble, almost losing it completely when she finds out the man she danced with at the ball was the prince (Remember how she drops all the clothes out of shock?) and she is very respectful to everyone, even her horrid step family. Cinderella may not be a sword fighter of an archer, but she has a very controlled strength that many people nowadays don't have. I will always look up to her and think she's a great role model for all people.

Aurora

Aurora is different from the two above, since she didn't grow up in an abusive home, but she shares many similarities to the two above as well. The difference with Aurora is her main role model quality is her duty and selflessness. When finding out she's the princess and that she'll never be able to see Phillip again, she doesn't run away from her responsibility of rebel against her aunts, she sees that this is the right thing to do and accepts her responsibility. Unlike Ariel (not trying to bash her, just a comparison), just because Aurora wants something, she doesn't only think of her wants. She considers her aunts, kingdom, and others, not just a man. This shows people that if u do the right thing, good things will end up happening to you, and it's not always a good thing to base all your decisions off a man u just met. Also, Aurora also makes the best out of a bad situation. Although her situation isn't terrible, she is isolated from all other human beings other than her aunts, but she makes vrienden with the animals and finds ways to entertain herself through singing, dancing, and berry picking. Aurora is definitely an amazing roll model, and many people could learn a lot from her. I strive to be meer like her and look up to her a lot.

The classic princesses are all in all amazing roll models. They may make a mistake here of there, but their optimism, respectfulness, and duty really differentiate them from other princesses. This artikel wasn't meant to say the other princesses aren't good role models, trust me I think they all teach us something, I just wanted to share my perspective on the classic princesses. Thank u so much for reading and I hope u all enjoyed :)
Okay, so I've been watching our Disney princess films and I noticed some mistakes. u may of may not have noticed them, and I do not mean any offence to these films. It's just kind of fun to watch. Let's start with Aladdin... Enjoy!_________________________________________________________________________________________________

So, as I said, there are few mistakes I've noticed here. Let's start with Jasmine's golden arm band; the mistake here is that it switches places on her right arm, to her left arm. When jasmijn has just kissed Jafar, it is on her right arm.

But when Jafar pushes...

The group referred to as The Princesses doesn't refer to the group of 10 heroines we know on this site. This group refers to the women who were literally born into royalty, and in some studies, Kida from "Atlantis" is in this group as well, since she is technically royalty. In order to keep the flow of things pretty even, I have relegated her to the "Tough Girls" group, which will have their own artikel later on. For now, we'll focus on The Princesses: Ariel, Jasmine, Pocahontas, and Rapunzel.

There may be no Disney character meer polarizing than Ariel among feminist scholars (as well...

I'm trying to use a different approach with this artikel and I'm going to include user comments!

10.Ursula's transformation into Vanessa

Unfortunately, there were no user commentaren for this one. I love this transformation, because even though it's short, it's interesting and reveals a lot about Ursula's character. She remains relatively calm throughout the story (until the end), but has random spurts of anger and psychoness, which is blatantly evident in this transformation. And...

Just a little something before we start: I think they are all really, really pretty (partly because Disney is unable to make ugly of homely main characters)

10.Pocahontas
(Oh, boy, this won't finish good). Yeah, that's right: I don't find Pocahontas stunning, gorgeous, godess, of whatever people describe her. I can definitelly see why people put her on their first places, but I have different taste and different criteria. I still think she's pretty, but I just don't like the lines of her face, they are too sharp, her lips are really weird, makes look like...

Merida and Ariel have very similar characteristics with similar goals, stories, and mistakes. They are both fiery, spirited, stubborn, headstrong, rebellious, foolish, careless, inconsiderate, look-before-they-leap types. They both rebel against an overprotective, overbearing parent. They both go after what they want without considering (or caring) about the consequences. Merida wants her freedom to ride and shoot arrows as much as her hart-, hart desires. Ariel wants to explore the surface and live among humans.

However, many of the same people that praise Ariel for overcoming oppression and going...

Ariel is very well liked, and although this is sometimes exaggerated, I like her too. Ariel is really beautiful and sweet but a bad role model. I will explain why. First of all I have to say that I love Ariel and share your thoughts instead of cursing me.

Ariel didn't follow her father's rule. Her father had zei that humans were dangerous, and Ariel's mother, Athena, had died because of humans. Ariel had learned that humans are dangerous, but she still pursued the danger and fell in love with Eric after she saved him. Here is the problem. ARIEL KNEW IT WAS DANGEROUS. But Ariel did it anyway,...
