It's been discussed lately which princess is meer Mary Sue-ish. Belle, Snow White, Rapunzel, Cinderella... all these have been mentioned. I'm ashamed to say that I zei (that sounds strange) that Rapunzel was the most Mary Sue-ish princess (though I also zei there was a far marge from her to a Mary Sue).

I wish we would stop talking about which princess is the most Mary Sue-ish, because none of them are. In this artikel I'm going to try and prove it. I'll lijst some flaws they have, and I'm going to name what I think is their fatal flaw. I'm dividing these artikels door era, because I need to rewatch some of these movies, so this artikel is only about the Classic Princesses. Without further ado, let's begin with Princess Number 1:

Snow White

I'm still unsure what Snow White's fatal flaw is: either her stubborness of her naivety. If she had stopped and listened to her animal friends, she wouldn't have allowed the witch in her house. But her naivety also helped. Earlier on the movie she said, "But she'll never find me here!". Snow White is so wrapped in her innocence and optimism that it can turn to naivety: sometimes she fails to see the bottle full.

Snow White is also very disobedient: she lets a strange inside the house, even though the Dwarfs warned her not to. It's their house, so shouldn't she obey their orders? Snow White's vivid imagination can also turn against her: when she's running through the woods, she start to imagine all sort of creatures and monsters. Snow also can come across as a bit of a nag: she blackmails the Dwarfs into washing their hands, of they "won't have a bite to eat".

She is manipulative: sure, none of her manipulations are for evil, but she still uses her natural charm and the skills she mastered to get what she wants. Tiana zei in The Princess and the Frog: "The quickest way to a man's hart-, hart is through his stomach". Well, Tia, Snow taught this lesson way before you.

Inside every Princess there is an Evil Queen... of a Manipulative Boss.

Cinderella

Cinderella's fatal flaw is allowing her emotions to get hold of herself. This is displayed a couple of times: first is when she fails to notice Gus is in one of the teacups in Anastasia's breakfast tray. She is on a hurry, we can notice that door the way she moves quickly, so she doesn't stop to check if everything is in order. She doesn't even see Lucifer under the table!

The seconde time is when the mice present her with the dress. She never once stops and thinks, "Wait. Where did all this come from? Where did u get these sash and beads?" She is wrapped up in her joy and she can't see beyond it.

The third time is when she delays in leaving the ball. She was feeling so happy, beautiful and loved, and the mood was so romantic, that she only left when the clock was already striking twelve.

The fourth (and most important) time is when she daydreams in front of her stepmother and hums the waltz So This is Love. Lady Tremaine notices she was the girl the Prince fell for, and locks her up without her stepdaughter noticing. And when she was locked up, she didn't think of anything to help her out until the mice brought her the key (then she told the birds to fetch Bruno so he could scare Lucifer away). But I think it's unfair to say Cinderella didn't work for her happy ending, because all the help she received from the mice was because she cared for them all these years, including sewing for them = hard work.

Like I zei above, Cinderella can be distracted, and this can also be noticed in the fact that she is always losing her shoes. She did it three times: when she was going upstairs to serve breakfast, at the ball and at her wedding. Of course, this isn't a flaw, but it adds to her flaw, so that's why I'm mentioning it.

Cinderella can also be bitter and angry, and she was going to beat Lucifer with her bezem because he messed the floor she was cleaning. For an animal friend, Cindy doesn't have high standarts.

Cinderella can also be a hypocrite: she says "They can't order me to stop dreaming", yet she admonishes Bruno for dreaming of chasing Lucifer. Of course, she was only worried for his well-being, but it's still a bit contradictory.

 Anger issues much?
Anger issues much?

Aurora

Aurora doesn't have a fatal flaw. But that is because she isn't the protagonist of her movie: sure, the story revolves around her, but the main characters are the three fairies. They are responsible for most of the action and their screentime is bigger than any other character's in that movie.

However, Aurora do have flaws: her biggest one is that she doesn't stand up for herself. She never argues with the fairies, "Why did u hide it from me? Why did u do that?". After she leaves the man she loved and the life she knew before behind, she is left pratically lifeless, like a puppet. She doesn't even speak anymore.

Aurora can be pessimistic, because she fails to see the good side of things. She could have thought, "I'm a princess! I'm rich now!" but she only thought of the bad side of things. She is also quite childish. She complains about being treated like a child, but when u think about it, that's exactly what Aurora is: a child.

Aurora is indecisive: she tells Phillip they'll never see each other again, but in the volgende moment she is planning to meet him at the cottage. And like Cinderella, Aurora can become distracted and lost in her daydreaming: she doesn't even notice when Phillip sneaks up behind her, and he's holding her hands.

 Behind you!
Behind you!

So that is it. This is part 1 of my serie of articles. I'll (hopefully) have part 2 written and finished soon.
There's nothing hidden in your head, that the Sorting Hat can't see, so try it on and it'll tell u where u ought to be.

Since I'm a fan of the Harry Potter book series, I've decided to start a series of interpreting Disney characters into the Hogwarts Houses. I'll be doing all the princesses and princes, and maybe some side characters and villains. This article'll just be the Classic Princesses, since the descriptions are going to be pretty lengthy and I doubt u guys could handle reading another of my super long articles. If u don't like Harry Potter u might be a bit confused, but if u have basic knowledge of the houses you'll be fine. Oh, and all of this is just my opinion.

Also, just for reference,...

Dungeons & Dragons (or D&D for short) is a super fun tafelblad roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. I've been playing the game for around eight years at time of writing, and I strongly recommend u give it a try if u ever get the chance. It's really an absolute blast! D&D has always been one of my favoriete hobbies, but within the last two years it's become an even bigger part of my life. Since I've been having so much fun with it recently, I decided it was finally time to try something I'd always wanted to do: turning...

I used to give into the hype and I still like her but I've recently realized that she's not that strong of effective of a villain. I've never seen the Angelina Jolie live action movie and quite honestly I don't think I ever will. This is all based on the original Sleeping Beauty.

Now, Maleficent definitely has the classic villain personality (sinister, petty, arrogant) and aesthetic. (she can turn into a dragon, and green brand is cool) She's one of the most quotable and meme-able villains in all of Disney. In fact, I think she's the one who really perfected the look and feel of a "Disney Villain"...

Everything is going great they are having a great time until Morgana shows up and tries to steal Melody. I guess...

Pocahontas is one of those Disney films that, despite being middle-of-the-road for me, I have to rewatch fairly often. Something about this movie intrigues me. Maybe it's because I want to like the movie meer than I currently do and understand why some fans revere it. I might not be there quite yet after this most recent rewatch, but I'm narrowing in on what specific things I like and dislike about the film. Now's the time to share those thoughts.

Praises
1) The backgrounds in this movie aren't just beautiful. THEY'RE GORGEOUS. The subtle lines, the designs, and especially the rich colors are...

Though not nearly as much as Merida and other revival princesses,Tiana is occasionally bashed for contributing to Disney's current trend of "meta", "woke" commentary with her whole "hard work, u can't just wish" shtick. While this does irritate me, I try to separate film makers' intentions from the actual context of the movie and the character.

In the first act of the film, she's portrayed as diligent and determined but she's not as in your face about it. For the most part, her thing is "partying and dancing just isn't my for me". She's not insistent, condescending of critical of others for...

What makes for a remarkable Disney Princess dress, the princess herself, of course, and while the Disney Princesses are renowned for their exemplary qualities that showcase the most empyreal aspects of the human spirit, it is the artful assemblage of accessories and garments which assist in emanating those qualities that make for the noblest of ensembles. This is what I believe are the most beautiful Disney Princess dresses. Which ones are yours?

10. Snow White's Primary Colors Dress:
A pure joy in essence, Snow White's lovely dress charms with its bold, fun colors, puff sleeves, high white...

Tangled: The Series, now called Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, premiered in March 2017 with the pilot movie, Tangled: Before Ever After (hopefully that sentence wasn't too confusing!). The film sees Rapunzel adjusting to life in Corona and introduces several concepts that the rest of the series will explore: Rapunzel's golden hair growing back, the growth of magical spiky rocks that can devastate Corona, foes with a thirst for revenge, Rapunzel and Eugene's marriage, and Rapunzel learning how to become a good queen.

At first, I was surprised that Tangled was getting a TV show. Even though I quite...

After I watched the first 7 seasons of My Little pony Friendship is Magic I started listening to the songs on repeat whenever I felt like it and there are songs from that toon that had me thinking of some of the princesses and some of the characters in the movies. Here's a lijst of the songs, which characters the songs reminded me of, and why.

Song: regenboog from My Little pony the Movie
Character: All the princesses

This song is actually mostly for a character in the movie who was a villain but then reformed which isn't what happened to any of the princesses (except maybe Elsa, though...
