Here are the results of the Best DP Villains count-down. Remember is not my personal opinion it, has all been voted FanPop users. I hope u enjoy it.
12. Mor'du (Brave): Not surprising that Mor'du was the first villain to go, since he has basically no personally. Some fans vraag if he is even truly a 'villain'. But one thing I think we can all agree on is that Brave needed a better antagonist.
11. Governor Ratcliffe (Pocahontas) : I can't say it's surprising that Ratcliffe was the seconde to go. While he does have a few fans that find him funny, most just find him annoying. And one thing eve his fans have to admit is he's not very scary.
10. Hans (Frozen): While Hans does have his fans, most people seems to prefer him as a hero rather than a villain. Some even say it was lazy writing on the part of Disney to make him a villain and others say he was an unnecessary character.
9. Gaston (Beauty and the Beast):
Gaston does have a lot of fans so I was a bit surprised to see him so low. But he also has lot of people who dislike him and find his actions toward Belle too creepy of find him just stupid and unnecessary.
He is pointless his reason for being evil is because he wants belle to marry him, because she is the most beautiful girl in the town and he thinks he should have the best. He's good at being arrogant a quality of a villain but it's still not enough. That's still a pretty weak excuse._lionkingartist
8. Lady Tramaine (Cinderella): Most fans are relativity neutral about her, she isn't really a favoriete of least favoriete among most people. While Lady Tramaine is consider a very iconic villain door most fans, many find her kind of one dimensional.
7. Shun-yu (Mulan): Shun-yu is some what of mixed bag. A lot of people feel like he's boring and had no personality, while his fans argue that he's very mysterious and that adds to his character.
6. Evil Queen (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: She's obviously a very iconic villain, since she's from the first Disney movie ever made. However many fans felt she was very one dimensional, while others liked her because she was pure evil.
I think Queen Grimhilde is a fantastic villain just plain evil..._fanlovver
5. Jafar (Aladdin): I think it's veilig to say the fans had quite mixed feeling about Jafar. Some hated him because he's copied from Maleficent, and feel as though he's stupid since Igao did most of the planning. But other loved him because he had the ability to be both funny and evil.
He is only a cheap copy of Maleficent...never mind that his best plans are coming from his papegaai and he practically defeats himself in the very end._Swanpride
4. Dr. Faciliar (The Princess and the Frog): Dr Faciliar is another villain that fans seem to have mixed feeling about. A lot of them argue that he doesn't fit well in the movie and can't understand his motives, while others think he's one of the best Disney villains.
3. Mother Gothel (Tangled): I'm a bit surprised to see that Gothel made it in to the top, boven three, I wasn't aware she had so many fans. Many people say that she's almost like a better, meer developed version of the Evil Queen and Tremaine, while others say she's been done too often before.
She's like a meer evil version of Lady Tremaine; she's emotionally abusive and even homicidal but she's not my favorite. Probably because her aspirations aren't very interesting (live forever, really? and do what?) and she relies on other people to do her dirty work._Digoenes
2. Ursula (The Little Mermaid) I can't say I'm surprised that Ursula came in second, she always been very popular. Most fans feel like she's one of the meer interesting and multidimensional villains. But some argue that she's too scary for their taste.
1. Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty): And the winner is... Maleficent. I have to say I'm a little surprised she won. I knew she was populair but I didn't know she had this many fans. Some people will argue that she's very bland with a weak motive. But most fans feel as though, the fact that we don't know a lot about her and that her only motives are not getting invited to a party, make her all the meer evil and mysterious and there for a better villain.
12. Mor'du (Brave): Not surprising that Mor'du was the first villain to go, since he has basically no personally. Some fans vraag if he is even truly a 'villain'. But one thing I think we can all agree on is that Brave needed a better antagonist.

This doesn't usually happen to me. I mean, I always prefer the good ones over the bad ones in the movie, but this time it wasn't like that. I haven't seen the movie Hercules, but I prefer Hades to Megara because I've seen other Hades related stuff.
Hades is a god. Although I believe in only one god, I have been interested in mythology since I was little, which made me wonder about Hades. (Of course, who wouldn't be curious about an underworld god?). In mythology, Hades was not a very good god. He was a soul-stealing god, moreover, he was the brother of Zeus. (I have never loved Zeus, he is constantly punishing people). After all I've read about Hades, I didn't like him. I didn't like him much when I watched Descendants, but after "Do what u gotta do" in Descendants three, I started to love him. His relationship with Mal was funny and sweet. He loved Mal and he was really funny. That's why I love him.
P.S: Hades' fiery blue hair is awesome too

Like Maleficent, Belle didn't get a lot of commentaren so I'm just putting a random sentence here so this can be long enough to be put into an article
Her relationship with her dad is one of my favoriete parent/child relationships in Disney, I used to relate to her in high school because I would read a lot and wanted to leave my little town -BB2010
I love how she is a bookworm, fell for the Beast after all their time together, and how she is very relatable to me being an outcast in her town. -LMH5113
I'm related to her in many ways, I love reading and to travel. -deedragongirl
