I might slip a cuss word of two, you've been warned. As usual, I'm just going to cut to the chase.

13. Merida
I'm aware of the good things zei about Merida, but there are just so many other things that turn me off. Like making an anti-princess Princess was boringly unoriginal on Pixar's part and she basically gives a middle finger to her predecessors and to girly girls in general. To sum it up, I'm just sick of the tough girl archetype she represents.

12. Aurora
I feel like there are Aurora fans who overanalyze her character, basing their interpretation on extremely minor factors. Even though she is likeable enough, I'm not too impressed with what's shown on screen. Aurora lacks backbone to stand up for herself and is a bit of a pushover. Which I can ultimately relate with but I hate those things about myself.

11. Tiana
In all honesty, I think Tiana is pretty amazing and I need some of her ambition in me. I greatly admire her for being capable of handling 2 jobs, barely having any time to rest. Even though there is meer to life than work, I still believe she is undoubtedly one of the best DP role models. With that said, I've never found her to be a compelling character for the simple fact that the movie focused far too much on Tiana being a workaholic that it almost became her one characteristic trait.

10. Rapunzel
I adore Rapunzel during the When Will My Life Begin sequence. Even though she was cooped up, she still got involved in countless interesting activities. That scene alone endears me to Rapunzel so much that I can never come to hate her. The problem is that her character feels inorganic and that's why I can't verplaats her up. It makes me sad because I'm a pretty big fan of Mandy Moore and Tangled in general.

9. Elsa
I dislike Elsa's famous line that so many people applauded her for. Do they really think little girls are going to grow up marrying strangers being influenced door some of the Princesses? That's bullshit if u ask me but anywho, I'm just mad at the audience praising Frozen for being revolutionary. I don't think of Elsa as being a good role model for people who are suffering from anxiety, although the way she takes it is pretty realistic. She runs away from her problems, restores herself when she's alone and then let fears control her all over again. I get the appeal, she has the potential to be my favoriete DP but as u can see, I have a few issues with her.

8. Cinderella
With everything that Cinderella withstood for years, she still didn't let her bitterness show, she kept working her fingers to the bone everyday and most importantly she kept her spirit alive. Her morals are something to live by. I have little to no complaints about Cinderella, she is wonderful but the Princesses above her are meer my type.

7. Snow White
Snow White is a simple character so it's simple as to why I love her; she is sweet, funny and spunky. She fills her own world with sunshine door making the best out of a bad situation which is something I constantly have to remind myself of doing. Her contagious smile and praying for Grumpy to like her all add up to her delightfulness.

6. Belle
As u can tell door now, I'm a Renaissance Princess lover ^_^ Although highly idealized, Belle represents everything that is good. She is beautiful but doesn't flaunt it, modesty is one of the most attractive traits to me. She is rightfully stubborn, she wants things to live up to her expectations and she never lowers her standards. So yes, I have to say that I look up to Belle but that doesn't mean I opt for perfection.

5. Anna
There's a saying that goes along the lines of ''The people that seem to be the hardest to love are probably the ones that need it most.'' and that's what makes Anna incredible. Elsa constantly shuts Anna out the door. In response, Anna continued loving her sister unconditionally. I also love how desperate for love she is, it makes her stand out from the Revival Princesses.

4. Ariel
Ariel was solidly secured as my seconde favoriete but she has dropped 2 placements. The reason for that is because I could see my teenage self in Ariel. But now that I've grown, I don't want to look back into those years any longer. I do feel disloyal but my opinions on her are still as positive as before, I love her for being a pioneer for energetic, bubbly and flawed animated heroines. Not to mention she is exuberant, takes risks and breaks boundaries. I don't think my love for her will ever fade.

3. Jasmine
jasmijn is no superwoman as she gives up easily and fails on a regular basis but at least that makes her realistic. Besides, there's so much to love about Jasmine, I love how she stands her ground for what she believes in and how confident she is using her sexuality as a weapon. She shows that a woman doesn't have to be overly sweet to be good-natured. She shows that it's okay to have a temper and go on teef mode. She is so different from how female characters are usually portrayed.

2. Pocahontas
I love how Pocahontas is playful but can be mature when the situation demands it, it's interesting how a lot of her characteristic traits contradict themselves. She tries to do the right thing but her hart-, hart can rule her over at times. That leads to her feeling as if she has lost herself, being unable to make decisions. I can ultimately relate to her not having herself well put together while admiring her at the same time for trying to solve problems keeping an open mind. I find the journey she goes on choosing the harder but right path to be a beautiful one.

1. Mulan
I'm just going to say that I don't think Mulan loses her flaws during the course of her movie, she was just becoming the best person she could be. Take it from someone who has felt like the slowest, laziest and useless piece of shit over a jaar ago. Metaphorically, going through military training can in fact make a man out of you. The transition she went through that musical number was believable to me because I got the opportunity to progress too. Sincerely, anyone can be a hero having the right mindset. Mulan is one of my role models because she is fiercely intelligent and teaches us that u don't have to do what society expects u to do, finding your own strengths can lead to success.
Disney has released a number of descriptions of the characters in the upcoming animated movie “Frozen.” The movie will arrive in theaters on November 27, 2013.

Check out a beschrijving of “Frozen” below!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share this idea that I had, please leave a commentaar and tell me what u think of the idea :)

It's a pair of series that are going to be called The Princesses in the jaar their original films came out and are going to be about the princesses, but they are living in the same jaar that their first films came out and all of them (except Ariel) lives in the capitals in the country that their original stories comes from. I've only come up with a story for Snow White who's obviously living during the Great Depression in Berlin (the original story was written door Brothers...

Harold travelled for days without knowing where he would find Rose Red's soul until he one dag met an old woman.
"Her soul can be found on a kasteel on the top, boven of a mountain and close to the sea", the old woman told Harold.

He had to turn around and ride back the same way he came before. He had the most beautiful horse, it was a black horse with a white ster on the fore-head and the horse was named Ebony.

When he arrived to the kasteel he went inside and discoverd Rose Red's soul so he went to grab it, but suddenly someone stung a mes close to his hart-, hart and he fell to the ground, but he actually...

Lizzie sat on the patio with her head in her hands, looking out at the practice field. How could her mother have done this to her? She had always been in line for the troon of Bayern and was actually looking vooruit, voorwaarts to it. Being a princess was a lot of work but it was worth it if u know u were going to be queen of your kingdom one day. Now she was going to be sent away to Corona, a place she loved but only with a certain someone. Lizzie wanted to cry but she didn't want anyone to see her and think less of her. She was a princess after all and princesses had to be composed. Suddenly someone...

So, finally the last songs. Filler Songs are songs which serve no real purpose at all – they don’t really add something to the story, they normally turn up in filler of Comic-Relief scenes. And they are mostly something typical for the older Disney movies, so there are not that many overall.

5. The Little Mermaid: I only added “Daughters of Triton” here because I felt I had to mention it somewhere, but the piece is so short, I hesitate to take it into account at all. It's not bad, not at all, it serves it's purpose door introducing Ariel's family, but that's meer of less all what...

This is my first artikel and I will be writing about the disney princesses from who I like but not that much to who is my favorite. Sorry if my interduction sounds goofy of anything. Please do not write any mean comets . I hope u enjoy my article.

10) Jasmine

Jasmine is very pretty and she is headstrong. She rather have a normal life than to be married to a snobby prince. I like jasmijn but she is at the bottom of my lijst because at times she is spoiled and bossy.I didn't think that she was doing the right thing leaving her palace because she could of been kidnap of hurt like what happen in...

Yep, I'm a little bit early, technically the voting is still open for two days, but there was barely any movement in the enquêtes for ages, my dag opened up, and I'm sure that I'll be very busy towards december (who isn't), so u get the first part of the series now.

Before I begin, I want to explain something: I’m not just looking at the songs itself, I’ll also take in account the way it gets utilized in the movie and if it works with the score overall. Because of this, a song which has a wonderful tune might end up further down at the list, simply because it doesn’t work as well in the...

Hello, and how is everyone today? I have made the decision to make this article. I've always wanted to do this, and I'm quite sure I've got it down. It'll be like this for a little while hopefully, and not constantly revovling around our favoriete Disney girls. Anyway, let's begin and I hope u enjoy this article. =)

#10: Snow White

I haven't got a thing against this lovely girl; She's sweet, caring, optimistic, helpful, and cute. It's just that since I have to number our DP girls one door one which one I like best, she always ends up in...

Before I continue to in my journey through the Disney Princess movies, I think I should explain something about “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”: I suspect that I see (or better: hear) this movie a little bit different than the English speaking audience. So many tend to commentaar on Snow White’s squeaky voice, but that’s not the voice I grew up with.

It’s sometimes surprising how much difference a dubbing can make to a movie. Not that I think that the English dubbing is bad (although it lacks at least in the regard that it doesn’t have a narrator for the writing in the storybook),...

Basically what the titel says. This is my first artikel and this is my lijst of favoriete "sidekicks". Criticism on how to improve is welcome just no negative commentaren please. Anyway on to the main point of this.

10. Pascal- Rapunzel

Ok Tangled fans don't hurt me *brandishes frying pan*. It's not that I don't like him. He's cute, he changes colors and he likes to stick his tongue in Flynn's ear... um ew. I mean really that's all he does. He sits on Rapunzel's shoulder and looks like some sort of demented parrot. As for Max the horse I decided not to count him in here. Yes he's considered...

I figured it was time someone wrote an artikel on this. We all LOVE the Disney Princesses, of else we wouldn't be here. Do u ever find yourself wanting to break into song, but realizing if u did, you'd probably be thrown into a mental institution? We can't get away with that. We can't go into a strangers house uninvited; that's called breaking and entering people. These are things we can only dream of, but things that our beloved Princesses get away with. I've compiled a lijst of moments such as these. They aren't in any particular order, and I'm sure I probbaly left some things out, but...

Hi everybody!!! This is my first artikel in a long time, and I don't think I'm all that good at writing articles, so i'll do my best. =)

So just in case u missed it, this is an artikel about all my vrienden and buds on the DP spot. This artikel is basically just a thank-you to everyone who ever put up with me. (lol) and maybe some of u may not even know it, but you're my bud. I hope u feel the same about me. =)

WARNING: kind of a long article.

#10: Mulan: I love how she is kind, self-reliant, and stong-hearted. I love that she is clumsy and a complete tomboy. I can relate to her that way. I myself am very clumsy and somewhat of a tomboy. I think she is fairly pretty. I love the color of her black hair but I find it a tad plain. I love the shape of Mulans eyes and I think her eyes are one of the prettiest physical features Mulan has. I find her lips a little blah. I wish they had a little color...

Here they are! My top, boven favoriete Disney Princess Couples!!

10) Mulan and Shang
I know I seem like I'm sipping Mulan-Flavored Haterade, but I genuinely don't dislike the movie. It's entertaining and hearing the muziek puts me in ninja-mode, but the romance is not only unnecessary, it's also unconvincing. Mulan and Shang both seem infinitely lovable (after all, lots of guys like women who can kick their asses,) but I just don't buy it. Is it funny? Sort of. Is it convincing? Definitely not.

9) Snow White and the Prince
u can't get some things right immediately, I suppose. The prince's song is...

She's October's princess of the month! u really deserved this - you're always online and work so hard to contribute. u definitely have put a lot into this spot and it's great to see u get some appreciation for that. :)
In honour of her achievement, here's an interview with our fan of the month!

1) How does it feel to be fan of the month?
I don't know, happy. Many good things have happened to me lately, so I wasn't as exicted about being fan of the maand as I could have been. But I'm happy that it was Mulan month.

Chapter 2: Unlocking the Mystery

The first to arrive was Prince. Once he materialized from his kruis dimension state, he slowly stood up from a kneeling position. Although highly suspicious and confused, he calmly surveyed the area. He was in a dimmly lit room half the size of a standard ball room. The walls were made of stainless steel and there were no windows, only a ten foot door.
Prince hesitated to verplaats closer...

I feel that Sleeping Beauty is overlooked on this website. It is not the best Disney movie in my opinion but one of the best Disney films from the Walt era. There a def some flaws in the movie, like Aurora doesn't talk much for most of the movie and there is a reason, the backgrounds interfered w/ the characters so that's why there is no talking during parts of the movie. I do love the backgrounds tho. This movie was ahead of its time. Considering how the technology wasn't as good back then there were still able to make these gorgeous backgrounds. Maleficent is another reason why this is one of the best Dinsey films from the Walt era. globaal, algemene Sleeping Beauty is not the greatest Disney movie but its not the worst.
I LOVE the Disney Princess. And, like the nerd I am, I did a little research on thier true stories. And i've got to say...

O.oo.O

Freaky stuff people! Maybe i'm just cursed for being a modern teenage girl, but I find some of the stuff in the tales unbelievable! Here's just a sampler. I get most of the info from Wikipedia. Not really a reliable resource, I know. But it's all i'm going on right now!

9.Cinderella. This movie I'm not to fond of yes it's magical and shit but I found(even when i was little) It didn't have enough action of comedy to suit my movie pallet.

8.Snow White. I do like this movie however Snow white is too innocent and doesn't do much other then cook and clean.

7.Sleeping Beauty. This movie had a lot of action and magic but I found it slightly boring not to say it is but Aurora dosn't do much except sleep.

6.Pocahontas. This one had meer action then the others and comedy but was lacking the perfect happy ending you'd like to see in a princess movie....
