Positive Messages
As some of u might be able to tell, I have been in a very musical mood lately. Along those themes, I wanted to make 2 muziek countdowns: 1 for Songs and 1 for Scores. I love Disney's music, especially from the team of Alan Menken & Howard Ashman. I almost never like covers of DP songs door Disney Pop stars so unless otherwise mentioned, all versions here are the original ones from the film. Here are my rankings for favoriete songs:

Honorary Mentions:
With A Smile & A Song - Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs (So positive and uplifting plus an excellent message.) "There's no use in grumbling When the raindrops come tumbling Remember, you're the one Who can fill the world with sunshine When u smile and u sing."
Dig A Little Deeper - The Princess & The Frog (So genuine and upbeat plus an excellent message.) "Don't matter what u look like. Don't matter what u wear. How many rings u got on your finger, We don't care. Don't matter where u come from. Don't even matter what u are"

20. I'll Make A Man Out Of u - Mulan
I love how this is such a great little masculine song thrown into a DP film! I think it was an excellent diverse song from the lovely meer feminine songs. I think the lyrics are great and they often will get stuck in my head.
"You're a spineless, pale, pathetic lot. And u haven't got a clue. Somehow I'll make a man out of you."
"You're a spineless, pale, pathetic lot. And u haven't got a clue. Somehow I'll make a man out of you."

19. Poor Unfortunate Souls- The Little Mermaid
This has always been such a great villain song to me. I love the way Ursula delivers it as well as the specific words she chooses. (She reminds me a lot of my ex-Stepmom, especially when she sings this song.) This song really shows off how villainous and manipulative Ursula is.
"I admit that in the past I've been a nasty. They weren't kidding when they called me, well, a witch."
"I admit that in the past I've been a nasty. They weren't kidding when they called me, well, a witch."

18. Whistle While u Work- Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs
I love how this song shows Snow White's positive and genuine nature. I have heard her described as "manipulative" but I don't see that at all, I think she's a very good and decent person who does not try to exploit others to get what she wants. (Her plea for help to the Dwarfs was simply that, a plea from a 14-ish? jaar old maiden who knew that was the safest place for her and she offered to do her part to stay.) Whenever I am cleaning myself, I always tend to hear this song. Work has to be done and it's best done with a positive attitude.
"So hum a merry tune. It won't take long when there's a song to help u set the pace."
"So hum a merry tune. It won't take long when there's a song to help u set the pace."

17. Almost There- The Princess & The Frog
I love Tiana's confidence in this song, towards her goal to open up her own restaurant. I love, respect and admire the fact that she doesn't just expect things to fall into her lap, she is willing to do the work to reach her goal. She doesn't let "trials and tribulations" bring her down because she is stronger than that and chooses not to be a victim. I also love the fact that she stands out in her town. She describes the people in New Orleans as being meer laid back and easy going, as mentioned in the line "This old town can slow u down, people taking the easy way But I know exactly where I'm going, I'm getting closer and closer every day." This determination and ambitious spirit is displayed beautifully in this song and I love the nod to her father in it as well.
"Trials and tribulations I've had my share. There ain't nothing gonna stop me now cause I'm almost there. I remember Daddy told me "Fairytales can come true u gotta make 'em happen, it all depends on you."
"Trials and tribulations I've had my share. There ain't nothing gonna stop me now cause I'm almost there. I remember Daddy told me "Fairytales can come true u gotta make 'em happen, it all depends on you."

16. Something There- Beauty & The Beast
I love how this song shows Belle & the beast starting to fall in love. It's so sweet and sincere. I think it also very accurately shows how true love plays out from a budding friendship. At some point u just realize that there's "something there" that's meer than friendship, the chemistry becomes undeniable. The initial judgments/perceptions are gone and a love has started to develop in it's place.
"There's something sweet And almost kind. But he was mean, and he was coarse and unrefined. And now he's dear, And so unsure. I wonder why I didn't see it there before."
"There's something sweet And almost kind. But he was mean, and he was coarse and unrefined. And now he's dear, And so unsure. I wonder why I didn't see it there before."

15. For The First Time In Forever Reprise - Frozen
It's been noted many times on this site but it's worth mentioning again, this song does such a beautiful job at tonen the contrast and dynamic between Elsa & Anna. Their voices blend beautifully together. This song gets stuck in my head often!
Anna: "'Cause for the first time in forever," Elsa: "Oh I'm such a fool, I can't be free!" Anna: "You don't have to be afraid" Elsa: "No escape from the storm inside of me!" Anna: "We can work this out together" Elsa: "I can't control the curse!" Anna: "

14. Belle - Beauty & The Beast
I love this entire song! I love all of the lyrics and I love how well it explains so much about Belle's character. The fact that she went through hardship, that she is misunderstood, that she finds solace in reading, that she has big dreams for herself, and that she is a classic beauty in her town yet doesn't use it to her advantage of rely on it to exploit others. I even love all of the lyrics sung door various townspeople in it!
"Now, it's no wonder that her name means "beauty" Her looks have got no parallel But behind that fair facade I'm afraid she's rather odd Very different from the rest of us She's nothing like the rest of us Yes, different from the rest of us is Belle"
"Now, it's no wonder that her name means "beauty" Her looks have got no parallel But behind that fair facade I'm afraid she's rather odd Very different from the rest of us She's nothing like the rest of us Yes, different from the rest of us is Belle"

13. A Girl Worth Fighting For - Mulan
I love how flattering this song is! These men are marching off into war to face some cruel and merciless enemies and protect everyone in their country and the only thing they hope for in return is to find a girl, a love, who makes it all worth it. Some say this song is not romantic at all but I completely disagree. Although I am a woman, I think this song coming from men and their point of view is incredibly romantic. They are willing to face almost certain death with the hopes that a woman will love them, appreciate them and respect them for all of their hard work and effort to keep them going. Plus, what they ask for is no where near unreasonable (specific beauty traits, appreciation of battle scars, cooks well, praise and adoration and laughs at his jokes). They also don't just want a girl door force of circumstance, they want to impress and woo her. I love, appreciate and respect this song. I also appreciate and respect the horrible things that lots of males willingly choose to face as well as their uncanny protection and accommodation for females and children (usually strangers) so that they don't have to deal with the "ugly work". I also love that the song ends abruptly with the reality of exactly why it is these men need these kinds of hopes, for the horrible things they do face and deal with. Catchy too.
"For a long time we've been marching off to battle In our thundering herd We feel a lot like cattle Like the pounding beat Our aching feet aren't easy to ignore Hey, think of instead A girl worth fighting for!"
"For a long time we've been marching off to battle In our thundering herd We feel a lot like cattle Like the pounding beat Our aching feet aren't easy to ignore Hey, think of instead A girl worth fighting for!"

12. Part Of Your World/Reprise - The Little Mermaid
I love how beautiful and emotional Ariel's voice is in this. It's kind of heartbreaking for me. She sounds so sincere, so passionate with such longing. I think this song is just gorgeous, musically and vocally. This scene/song usually makes me cry because of Ariel's conviction and how gorgeous the song is musically.
"What would I give to live where u are? What would I pay to stay here beside you? What would I do to see you, smiling at me? Where would we walk? Where would we run? If we could stay all dag in the sun, just u and me.
"What would I give to live where u are? What would I pay to stay here beside you? What would I do to see you, smiling at me? Where would we walk? Where would we run? If we could stay all dag in the sun, just u and me.

11. I Wonder - Sleeping Beauty
I love how gorgeous Aurora's voice sounds. I also love how this song represents Aurora's docile and innocent nature as well as her romantic and idealistic personality. She is so pure and graceful and I think it really comes through in this song. The only way she knows of finding love is the same way as the birds: Through song.
"I wonder if my hart-, hart keeps singing Will my song go winging To someone, who'll find me And bring back a love song to me?"
"I wonder if my hart-, hart keeps singing Will my song go winging To someone, who'll find me And bring back a love song to me?"

10. Let It Go - Frozen
Yes, I love this song. I think the muziek is very beautiful and I love the actress' voice in it. I've never really liked the song "Reflection" from Mulan but I'm pretty sure I love this song for the same reason others love that song. I think it's beautifully passionate and earnest, albeit not smartly written. As a song on it's own, I completely understand why it was such a big hit as it immediately stuck with me the first time I saw Frozen. As far as the film goes though, there are definite inconsistencies with the lyrics here and the film's story.
"It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small And the fears that once controlled me Can't get to me at all! It's time to see what I can do"
"It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small And the fears that once controlled me Can't get to me at all! It's time to see what I can do"

9. Listen With Your hart-, hart - Pocahontas
I tend to try to find a balance between head and hart-, hart but that aside, I love this song. I find it to be so incredibly soothing. The few lyrics that are here are beautiful as well.
"Let it break upon u Like a wave upon the sand."
"Let it break upon u Like a wave upon the sand."

8. If I Never Knew u - Pocahontas
I don't know why, and maybe someone could clear this up for me, but I remember this song being in the movie and playing when Pocahontas goes to see John Smith while he is being held captive. That was when I watched in on VHS as a child though. Now when I see the movie on Blu-Ray, it's not played until the credits. I do love the version at the end with the credits though door Jon Secada and Shanice, I think it's done beautifully. Anyways, I always thought this was one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard in my life, especially lyrically. This song really shows the power and beauty of love; how fragile and precious it is. Definitely this song makes me cry every single time I hear it nowadays because it's so beautiful. Perhaps because I feel the same way about my husband. There's a saying that "It's better to have loved and lost then to have not known love at all" and I think this song embodies that perfectly. link
"If I never knew u If I never felt this love I would have no inkling of How precious life can be."
"If I never knew u If I never felt this love I would have no inkling of How precious life can be."

7. Belle Reprise - Beauty & The Beast
It's very short but I absolutely love and adore it. I can't get enough, it is stuck in my head all of the time. I love how it's distilled to the core of what Belle wants: Adventure away from here meer than anything else. It reminds me of the song "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place" door The Animals. I love the concept behind this song.
"I want much meer than this provincial life I want adventure in the great wide somewhere I want it meer than I can tell."
"I want much meer than this provincial life I want adventure in the great wide somewhere I want it meer than I can tell."

6. So This Is Love
This stuck always stuck out the most to me from Cinderella, even as a child. It was so beautiful and romantic as well as so pure and innocent. I love the way it accurately resembles love. It accurately represents love to be transcending and heavenly. Definitely will always be a beautiful and heartwarming classic for me.
"So this is love So this is what makes life divine I'm all aglow, Mmmmmm And now I know The key to all heaven is mine"
"So this is love So this is what makes life divine I'm all aglow, Mmmmmm And now I know The key to all heaven is mine"

5. Mother Knows Best - Tangled
This song has been growing on me ever since the first time I heard it! I love it so much as I can really relate to it. I think this song perfectly captures the manipulation and deceit of Mother Gothel. I love how Mother Gothel plays the "Merchant of Doubt" door saying things like "One way of another Something will go wrong, I swear" she uses the line "Me, I'm just your mother what do I know? I only bathed and changed and nursed you" tonen how ridiculously manipulative she is. None of that stuff means anything because that's her job yet she's trying to make Rapunzel feel indebted to her for being alive. Personally, this song reminds me of my actual mother and it really captures her villainous spirit (and she is similar to Mother Gothel) so I find this song to be brilliantly realistic and accurate.
"Gullible, naive Positively grubby Ditzy and a bit, well, hmm...vague. Plus, I believe Gettin' kinda chubby I'm just saying cause I wuv you."
"Gullible, naive Positively grubby Ditzy and a bit, well, hmm...vague. Plus, I believe Gettin' kinda chubby I'm just saying cause I wuv you."

4. A Whole New World - Aladdin
My all-time favoriete Disney duet! I have always loved this song since I first heard it as a little girl and still find it to be such a romantic and magical feeling song. I love the way it describes young love to be so exciting and full of adventure and mystery. I think it's so beautiful. This is also one of my favoriete jasmijn scenes where she finally stops being a shrew for a minuut (until the song is over) and just lets herself be happy.
"Aladdin & (Jasmine): A whole new world (every turn a surprise) With new horizons to pursue (every moment red letter)"
"Aladdin & (Jasmine): A whole new world (every turn a surprise) With new horizons to pursue (every moment red letter)"

3. Honor To Us All - Mulan
I rank this so highly because I catch myself singing it all the time! I think it is so cute and catchy! I also love the dynamic it shows between Mulan and her mother. I also love the "recipe for instant bride" and find it to be fairly accurate. I also love that it does mostly match up with what the men say they want from women. I just feel like women don't really understand men as well as they used to and I don't think enough mothers give their daughters honest and straight-forward advice despite what feelings it may trigger like they used to. I love that Mulan's mother does this for her in this song though. I have the highest respect and appreciation for good mothers and wives so I personally really respect and appreciate this song and the way it holds that role in such high esteem. I see children as the future so I think good parenting is absolutely prime and necessary; One of the most important jobs in society. I still value families as they are still the best environment for children growing up and I love how this song speaks to that.
"We all must serve our emperor Who guards us from the Huns A man door bearing arms A girl door bearing sons"
"We all must serve our emperor Who guards us from the Huns A man door bearing arms A girl door bearing sons"

2. Once Upon A Dream - Sleeping Beauty I love classical muziek and I absolutely love Tchaikovsky! Ever since I was a little girl I always liked classical muziek and I loved this song. It always feels like a dream, sweeping me off my feet and making me want to do Piqué turns etc. all over the room. It certainly sweeps me off my feet and I can definitely see why it swept Aurora off of hers as well. It embodies grace and beauty to me.
"I know you, I walked with u once upon a dream I know you, the gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem But if I know you, I know what you'll doYou'll love me at once, the way u did once upon
"I know you, I walked with u once upon a dream I know you, the gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem But if I know you, I know what you'll doYou'll love me at once, the way u did once upon

1. Part Of That World - The Little Mermaid Nostalgia, nostalgia. Not just for the film but for when I felt just like Ariel and I was "ready to know what the people know, ask them my vragen and get some answers". I always wanted to explore and learn new things and have been very curious about other cultures. I think the concept behind this song is so beautiful and inspiring. I also think Ariel's voice is so powerful and feminine at the same time, sometimes it gives me gans bumps. I adore Ariel's voice completely, it's so gorgeous. I think the muziek behind the song is equally gorgeous. A timeless classic that I sing/listen to often.
"When's it my turn? Wouldn't I love Love to explore that kust-, oever up above?"
"When's it my turn? Wouldn't I love Love to explore that kust-, oever up above?"
Disney had to give 6their heroines, aside from great look, hot princes and titel of a princess, amazing hairs too to make us even meer envious.

We already had this countdown, but with coming of new princess and new fans, it has been done again. u can read old artikel link.
Here are they in order as u voted them.

10. Snow White

Old position: #10

I couldn't say I'm very surprised that Snow White came in last place. She was last in many countdowns. However, many people stated that they absolutely love her hair. Why is it last than? Because of the other ones, who don't find her hair that...

MAJOR: ANTHROPOLOGY
Specialization: Marine

Already, as we have seen in her movie, Ariel has single-handedly made the mermaid equivalent to an humanology museum. The vast trove shows her deep intellectual passion for anything humanity; intellectual because she wonders about the objects and she tries to learn what they are about. She has always shown herself to be the eager studier of humans, i.e. anthropology.

Because this is such a broad category, Ariel will be able to choose whatever she feels...

This is the first countdown that I have successfully completed in months, and this was an interesting concept. Thanks to everyone who participated in the countdown. Some films will age forever (or for hundreds of years), while some will die out in a decade.

Timeless:1. unaffected of unchanged door time; ageless
2. eternal

11. Aladdin

This one was the obvious first choice, and to be honest, is the only film that is not timeless out of the bunch. This film was praised especially for the pop cultuur references coming from Genie but 20 years later, it is working to it's disadvantage. A lot of the...

Ariel is my favoriete Disney Princess. Thus, I find it stupid for some fanbrats from some disney message boards (not this site, just Internet Movie Database and other Disney forums) to bash Ariel all because she is not like the other girls, especially Belle.

Complaint 1: Ariel loved Eric for his looks!
My Defense: Ariel fell in love with Eric because he was a nice guy. Remember the scene where Grimsby presented the statue to Eric to him? Ever wondered why Eric didn't like it? Because the statue made him looked pompous and snobby-which Eric isn't! Even Chris Barnes and my brother zei so!

Years geleden I made an artikel about Fanpop users that remind me of Disney characters so I decided to do an updated one about new Fanpop users, with a few who aren't here anymore but have earned their position in the article. Some things I might say may offend some people but try not to take it too personally and keep in mind I did warn u I'm going to be brutally honest, if u don't like it it's your own fault for reading it. Enjoy!

Mulan has been losing the magical touch with me that it use to have so I don’t really enjoy any of the characters from this film. Her wardrobe is great!
Not to judge them of anything, but I’m going to rate disney princesses from my personal least favoriete to favorite.

14. Snow White (snow white)

Im sorry but she’s just not very attractive in my opinion. I think in real life she would be pretty, but they made her weird, she has a 7 jaar olds body, a odd shaped face which in some shots can be cute, but in most make her look like she has a double chin. Also the 2 spots on her cheeks are supposed to be blush, but it looks really weird. Her smile is creepy and while i like the hairstyle they were going for, it globaal, algemene looks like a wig.

Dungeons & Dragons (or D&D for short) is a super fun tafelblad roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. I've been playing the game for around eight years at time of writing, and I strongly recommend u give it a try if u ever get the chance. It's really an absolute blast! D&D has always been one of my favoriete hobbies, but within the last two years it's become an even bigger part of my life. According to each of my articles, u can conclude that I like the classics less than the modern ones. But still, that doesn't mean I HATE the classics, on the contrary, I do love them. They just pale in comparison to the moderns. My favoriete classic and renaissance princesses are Ariel and Belle. I like these two, but it is a pity that they are inferior to modern ones.

Why I love Belle: Belle is my sixth favoriete princess and I think she'll be the fifth to replace a modern. Moana doesn't seem as great to me anymore, so Moana is down to five, but she can swap places with Belle at any time. Belle...

Elsa is my favoriete Disney character. She can create snow and ice. Elsa has a lot of wonderful and similar dispositions to me. Today I am writing about characters who have similar snow powers to Elsa.

1- Om Nelle ( Cut the rope, super noms)
Om Nelle, who appears as Om Nom's wife in the Om Nom ( Cut the rope) cartoon, has powers similar to Elsa. Like Elsa, Om Nelle can create snow and, most of all, ice. But there are some changes. Elsa's powers are hers and they are innate. Om Nelle makes the ice with the stone of a tiara, the riem of a superhero. Without the crown, Om Nelle has no powers. Also,...

Disney has created a lot of princesses all these years. But there are some princesses to add. Here is a lijst of princess ideas. It wouldn't be bad if Disney made these princesses.

1- Princess with glasses
Some people wear glasses because they see distant writing badly. Others see so badly that when they take off their glasses, the world becomes blurred. It wouldn't be bad if Disney made a princess who wears glasses, too. Glasses don't need to make the princess look ugly. The princess does not need to wear glasses all the time. The important thing is to prove that there can be princesses with...

Snow White has never been pretty to me. Princesses like Elsa, Anna, Aurora and Belle have always been beautiful to me. Snow White was the ugliest to me, the ugliest. Even uglier than princesses like Merida, Mulan, and Kida. I don't understand how they call Snow White "the fairest of all people" in the movie.

Things that make Snow White ugly:

Snow White's neck looks combined with her head.

The shape of Snow White's hair is so ugly, it's like a cotton candy that doesn't look realistic at all.

Snow White's nose is sometimes not visible

These princess eyes are scary and the pupils don't fit in her eyes.

His eyebrows are thin

Oh my god, she's so ugly except for her crimson lips and rosy cheeks! In the movie, either the mirror was broken of the movie was. Snow White is so ugly! Duh should make it to the lijst of the ugliest in the world!
For those of u who don't know/remember Legend of Mor'Du was a short that was included on the Brave dvd. It started out like how Elinor explained it to Merida; the King leaves the kingdom to his 4 sons to rule together instead of leaving it all to the oldest, the oldest starts a war, and the entire kingdom falls to ruin. The short explains how Mor'Du met the witch and became a beer and what happened after.

1- Snow White- royal
Although Snow White is run like a maid door the evil queen, according to the movie, she is a princess. We can say that Snow White has lost her royal title. This explains how she knows how to cook, clean and organize. When Snow White marries the prince, she becomes a princess again. There is already such a thing as justice, Snow White should have been a princess in the first place.

Love is in the Air!
Hi guys, since Valentine dag is today! Here are meer songs from films and musicals for this lovely day, ready?

1) (Everything I Do) I Do It For You

This theme from the 1991 film, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves would serve as the song for Snow White, Cinderella and Princess Aurora when their respective loved ones will sing to each other.

2) I Will Always Love You

Ariel and Eric will definitely sing this to each other at different location.

3) Book of Days

Since Belle love to read, this Enya song from the Far & Away is when Belle got her wish when she meets her Prince Charming in a gruffy form!...
