Disney Princess Article: Getting to know anukriti2409

Hello everyone, I thought since new year's here, I might share some of my likings and dislikings with everyone on this club. I've been on Fanpop since few months and fairly active on DP club so i thought its good time to officially introduce myself.

My name is what my id is, Anukriti. It's a Sanskrit name which means "small creation". I'm a married working woman. I work in advertising/marketing industry and i love communication in all forms. I mostly design and create communication ideas for various brands. I hope to work for Disney someday.
2409 is my birthdate - 24th sept.
age: 28

I live with my husband. My side of family consists of my parents and 1 elder brother who is in Indian Army. My husband's side has his parents and 1 elder sister who is a curator in National Museum. Both our parents are now retired. I have been born and brought up in India but I have traveled to many places abroad and within India - USA, UK, Ireland, Malaysia, Hongkong, Thailand, Dubai, Sri Lanka and most of India except North-east. My dream is to travel the whole world.

I love traveling and I'm planning to go to Italy in coming months.
The best thing about traveling is to know how people live and talk in various cultures. I'm a sucker of studying history and cultural influences on people.

I also love reading a lot. Its my favoriete time pass. I can read almost anything that is written interestingly. My favoriete genres are History, Sociology, Philosophy, Classics, Romance, Drama, Thrillers, Comedy, Travelogues. I sometimes also read horror. I'm also a sucker of poetry - my all time favorieten are Robert Frost, Witman, Keats and Shelley, Rabindranath Tagore and Gulzar.

My other interests are writing stories and poems, scrapbook making, home pagina decor, badminton, dancing and singing.

I'm a fairly simple person, who lives in Delhi, capital of India. I mostly talk very straight vooruit, voorwaarts and to-the-point and don't go about talking in circles. For this reason, many people think I;m rude because I'm mostly blunt with words, but i leave it to their discretion to figure it out in time. I;m somewhat rebellious but have learnt to be meer patient with others when in disagreement. I;m also a diplomat when in my family because I'm always trying to make peace between opposing views. I'm trying to learn to be meer graceful and elegant in my disposition but usually I;m very active and energetic so i forget about it most times. I'm gifted with naturally athletic body-type too, so I;m lean and about 5'5".

On good days, I can be creative, spontaneous, cheerful, funny, optimistic, out-going.
On dark days I;m gloomy, thinking too much about past of future, reserved

Overall, i;m a happy and positive person who loves to analyse things around and keep them in balance as much as possible. So, i'm quite flexible with ideas/opinions and rules, as i feel they should change with time and development.

My favorieten in Disney:
I love Belle, Merida and Cinderella as my top, boven 3 princesses.
I love Aladdin, Eric and Philip as my top, boven 3 princes
I love Aladdin, BATB and Sleeping Beauty as my top, boven 3 DP movies
I love Hercules and Tarzan as other Disney movies
I love Maleficent, Ursula and Mother Gothel as DP villains
I love Merryweather, Genie, Olaf, Abu, Dascal, 7 dwarfs and Meeku.
My favoriete couples are Mulan and Shang, Belle and Beast, Anna and Kristoff

My dream in life is to travel all over the world and work for Disney marketing team.

I'm glad I got to know you a little better We have some things in common, for example, we both love traveling (although you have been to many more places than me), learning about other cultures and reading. Lately I've also been thinking about writing a new "Getting to know me" article, but I haven't change much since the last one I wrote, so I'm not sure... Anyway, really nice article ^-^

Oh, i love Disney so much. And it's just amazing that you want to be a filmmaker, i think its totally grand! <3 Do you want to direct or write a story or both? I'd love to hear some thoughts if you don't mind sharing. I really like fanfic too <3 I kinda write myself, but feels it could be too kiddy, so don't post it here so far. Traveling is so awesome too, i'm a bundle of energy whenever i'm traveling!

wavesurf Really nice article, Anukriti!! Ah... to have the finances and wherewithal to travel the world! That must be great... That would be my dream, too. Anyhow, we have similar tastes in Sci-Fi TV shows/ movies, and in non-Disney movies. And we both like Ursula, Eric, Philip, and Shang. Mulan and Shang are one of my favorite couples, too. There are more assorted odds and ends we share. lol. :P Thanks for being so willing to open up and share with us! This was a pleasure to read!!

anukriti2409 @wavesurf: haha, yes, i guess we do have some odds that we seem to share as our common likings :D I'm kinda saving up strongly for traveling world but yes, i have been fortunate to have a stable life so far in all aspects of life :) Loved hearing your similar likings too, good to know you a lil more :)
