Hello guys!! To those who recognize me, I hope you're all doing well! I've been busy with college apps and life in general, but I've been well! To those who don't, nice to meet you! I used to frequent this site a couple years ago. :) Anyway I'm just going to go straight into the review! There won't be any large plot type spoilers, but if u want to go in knowing absolutely nothing, I would recommend not reading!

~~~~~~~
I just got home pagina from seeing this beautiful film and I need to let out all my feelings somewhere, but hopefully this will be somewhat coherent and not come across as a giant rant with paragraph breaks. I have such a huge smile on my face as I write this, because this movie just made me so damn happy!
The Soundtrack
Guys this movie sounds breathtakingly beautiful. The score, the songs, it all just creates an environment and immerses u immediately into the Polynesian culture. Getting some fresh blood with Lin-Manuel, the creator of Hamilton (which also has an 11/10 soundtrack), was such a great idea and it really brought a brightness that I loved. The entire soundtrack just put a smile on my face. There's a force that comes with these songs, a power behind them, that I really enjoy. There's also no shortage of reprises, and I love a good reprise. Even the songs that would generally read as filler like Shiny and You're Welcome just put a huge smile on my face (I loved the revisiting of you're welcome throughout the film, and I have to admit that song is still stuck in my head). Shiny could get some hate, but I don't think it's deserved. The song is showy and glamorous and totally ridiculous and I love it for what it is.
The way the film uses muziek to introduce us to the Polynesian culture through Where u Are and We Know The Way is so great. The songs, rather than sounding like filler, are so rich with culture and emotion that u feel immediate immersion into this rich and beautiful culture. Moana herself really carries this though, with How Far I'll Go being both beautiful and infectious, and the reprise being just as powerful. I love how the movie uses the muziek to toon Moana's character growth. Moana's voice actress does such an incredible job emoting and I'm amazed that she's only sixteen (The Rock also did an incredible job). The score of course didn't disappoint either, adding to the ambiance.
The Animation
It's stunning. Moana is stunning. The ocean is stunning. The island is stunning. It's all just stunning! The bright colors are so vibrant and plentiful that it's impossible to not be mystified! The entire first half uur of the movie is animation-orgasm worthy! Moana herself is of course stunning. Her hair is so luscious and I love how Disney does different things with it. I definitely think she's the most beautiful 3D princess and Disney has really gotten the hang of animating these 3D beauties. She just radiates a certain happiness and loveliness that's infectious.
Disney is also willing to go many different places with the animation. Certain song scenes have different animatie and mixes of animatie and changes with light and texture and it's just really refreshing to see. The way Disney plays with light and dark and florescence and blackness is just incredible. There's a fluidity and naturalness to the animatie that's really welcome to see in a 3D movie from Disney. The details are another aspect that I think really make the movie, gegeven that they're all shown so much individualized care so that every little bit of it is perfect.
The Characters
I love Moana. She's just..so great! I feel like I need to watch it many meer times till I can grasp everything that is Moana. She's so fascinatingly multifaceted and she certainly merges the headstrong female character with a welcome sense of insecurity and self doubt that reminds me of Rapunzel (though the characters have many differences). Seeing her journey and how she found her "way" really touched me. I liked seeing how driven she was, but how she was relatable in her wavering and doubt that followed her. The way she could always pick herself up and continue on with her dreams really made me smile though. She almost has to convince herself that she's strong, and she doubts it many times, but she kinda plays the whole "fake it till ya make it" and eventually does get there, which is so beautiful to see. She's stubborn, but not in a way where it endangers others. She's so extremely caring and will do anything for the ones she loves and before I rant on and on about her I'll end it here, but expect a character analysis of her soon! I need a whole artikel to express how much I love this beautiful girl!!
Maui was a lot better than I thought. I was slightly worried he would be unlikable, but that certainly isn't the case. He's a lot meer than the lovable, slightly snarky sidekick. I loved how we got his backstory and also saw how he too had insecurities and doubts behind that demigod persona. He was so ridiculous and his chemistry with Moana was absolutely perfect. Grandma of course was also absolutely brilliant. I loved how she helped out Moana and led her to be able to find herself. She was a comedic relief type character, but she didn't read as one. She was able to balance both comedy and heart, which I really enjoyed. I'm glad that she played a larger role in the movie than I had thought, and thoroughly enjoyed every scene she was a part of!
Finishing Thoughts
I zei this would be meer of less spoiler free, so I won't get into plot, but that's probably where the movie struggles most. Moana isn't doing anything any other Disney movie hasn't done, but it's taking all those aspects together and doing something so great with them. Moana herself is so beautiful that the movie would've been great regardless of the movie she was put in, and I'm so hopeful that Disney will include her in the princess lineup. As I said, another artikel will be coming, one much meer thought out and not written at 1 AM after getting back from the movie theater, but for now I'll end it on this: If you've seen this movie, please fangirl about it with me in the commentaren and if u haven't see this movie, please go see it and then proceed to fangirl about it with me in the comments. Thank u so much for reading, have a lovely day/night/evening/afternoon/etc. :)
I thought since Anna and Elsa have joined the lineup, I should write my prettiest list. This is based purely on looks, so I'm gonna be completely shallow. Keep in mind that this is my opinion. And what better way to follow up my favorieten lijst than with a prettiest list?
12. Merida
*Takes in HUGE breath and breathes out* Merida. Surprise, surprise, my least favoriete DP is in last place. But I promise, I'm not being biased. I honestly don't find Merida attractive AT ALL. First off, her hair is absolutely gorgeous. Her eyes are pretty, but can be kinda creepy sometimes. I personally don't like...
hallo guys I'm PrincessVT and my real name is Vanessa Wesline Toussaint. That's a hatian last name so gasp! I'm hatian. Just kidding, I know hatian and fluent french both because that's my language.
I'm 13 years old and new and no good with writing. I like writing as a sport but I'm not too creative with it.
I didn't see frozen but in a few years, (Disney usually do this with Disney Princesses) I'll watch it.
I like disney but I don't think my vrienden could relate... People think I'm annoying and childish. Eat Cat h8ters! (No I don't eat cat)
I like orcra, vegetables (cooked), meat... (Like birds...
9.Jasmine
I used to think jasmijn wasn't all that pretty. But when I watched her film I realized she's much prettier in motion than she is in still clips. Even so, though, I never found her all that attractive, even as a kid. She has a big nose and her eyes look freakishly large in a lot of scenes. When they get her right, she's pretty, but that's only in about 2 scenes. I think she looks like an alien most of the time.
8.Ariel
I know a lot of people find Ariel to be cute. And really, I agree. Despite being my favoriete princess, I think she looks sort of...cute, at best. She's got...
Well, as u guys may of may not know, I've been doing a series of "Why I Love" artikels for all the princesses, and since I've already done my eight favorites, I decided to try something new instead. For my bottom five favoriete princesses, I decided to make a new series of artikels talking about what prevents them from being higher. So yeah, this might be a bit controversial, but it's my opinion so if u don't like it than...cool? Let's go onto the article!
The Positives
I didn't want this artikel to be all bad, and there really are a lot of positives about Mulan. First of all, she's the...
Everything that was done on this artikel was done door GreatLance_30; I am only typing it for him/her. Since the Princess of the maand was such a success, we wanted to do Prince of the Month. To be completely honest, the results are not really suprising.
10. Charming (283 points)
Charming and Prince are always the bottom two in every list; best looks, most heroic, etc, but Prince was generally liked meer than Charming, which is why he is dead last. There was practically no positive commentaren about him except that he is better and meer likeable in the sequels. What people (practically everybody)...
Hi everyone! Well, I see others write their lijst of favoriete princesses so I decide to follow suit and to write my own. It would be fun for me to write this after all, as I think... my lijst has changed somewhat in the past month, but it is still basically the same.
9. Tiana
I like all the princesses a lot, but Tiana is my least favoriete of the bunch. Tiana has her good points in my opinion door her everlasting dream to open up her restaurant and her motivation to work I find inspiring. But still, she just isn't quite as fun as I would prefer in a princess... a bit too serious for my tastes....
So I was reading through old articles, and I found one door link, in which he does his lists on basically everything. I thought it was really interesting, so I thought "Why not?" and decided to make my list. The main rankings are based on the movies, and then the sub-rankings are for the princess, prince, villain, ect. in the movie. So, let's get started! (Also, I know that a lot of the placings are messed up (as in a couple things have the same placing), but I already spent forever on this artikel so I kind of just let it go *cue singing*)
11. The Little Mermaid
My bottom four are all kind of...
A knock sounded. "Princess Elsa? It will be time for your coronation in an hour. Please get ready and come down to the chapel."
Elsa acknowledged the servant with a sharp "Yes." And walked up to her mirror. She gazed into it and saw her reflection. Eleven years had passed since she had been visited from the stranger and gotten her powers. Eleven years since she had first found her sister annoying. Eleven years since she had first gone into isolation.
 She gazed into it and saw her reflection.
She gazed into it and saw her reflection.
Music
At this point it is veilig to conclude that the muziek is the most prominently outstanding aspect of Frozen. Moreover, the soundtrack, score and presentation of marvelously spectacular and masterfully performed songs are objectively and noticeably superior to those of any of the other films pertaining to a so-called “New Era” of Disney such as Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Brave and Wreck it Ralph. That undoubtedly have their merits and are exceptionally competent and engaging in terms of using muziek to set up a necessary mood. However, are nowhere in the neighborhood of the breathtakingly...
