Cinderella
In the 2015 live-action reboot, Cinderella's kindness actually prove to the fairy godmother door rewarding. Ella is considered an outcast with her stepmother and stepsister, and she also share some similarities with Belle considering that the latter originally was going to have 2 sisters who are bullies too in the movie! Secondly, the magic spell will only work till midnight, thus setting a time for Cinderella.
The Beast
Since he was a problematic child who is very spoilt, the enchantress must have some magic up her sleeves and turns him into a beast. The reason why I labelled Cinderella and the Beast are in a contrast to one another, is because Cinderella has some kindness since her childhood and the beast is meer of a spoilt brat. Ironically, the same fairy godmother!
Like Cinderella, the enchantress sets a time for the beast until his 21st birthday.
Contrast of Similarities?

Beauty and the Beast; often considered the magnum opus of the Walt Disney company was released on November 13, 1991. As most people know, it is the only traditionally animated film to datum to have garnered an Oscar nomination for Best Picture. This may have been due to the approach to this film. As often as Disney princess sidekicks are talked about, it feels to me that the side characters of villainous role are often over-looked. So I wanted to write an artikel talking about their characters and how evil were they. I have tried to rank them basis 3 primary traits: loyalty to main villain and evil plan, scale of meanness/evilness and their importance of role in globaal, algemene story development.
