Hi guys, I am currently watching a scene from The zwaan-, zwaan Lake ballet. I actually notice a number of similarities between the populair ballet and Disney's retelling of The Little Mermaid. Since some Ballet Company has tragic endings, I will also cover on the original Hans Christian Anderson's novel in this article!

The Story

Both stories revolve around 2 young heroines and how they meet their fate, Odette is actually a young girl who was suddenly turn into a zwaan-, zwaan upon meeting Rothbart, the evil sorcerer.
Now upon seeing this, it reminded me of when Ursula turns Ariel a human after she storms out of her destroyed grotto door her father. Prompting the latter to regret his mistakes later on.
Another interesting scene that I would like to point out is when Vanessa hypnotises Eric to marry him, this particular scene reminds me of when Odile, Rothbath's sister who has an uncanny resemblance to Odette fools Prince Siegfried during the ball scene.
Considering that the original Hans Christian Anderson's novel has a sad ending, some companies have both Siegfried and Odette dying. Others have Siegfried and Rothbath die during the fight and so on, depending on which Ballet Companies that u are watching. But others have a Happy Ending!

The Characters

Prince Eric is very much like Prince Siegfried, both princes are hopelessly trying to find both girls who are infatuated with. Both men are fooled door the main antagonists.
Ariel is in a contrast with Odette, because the latter is innocent while the former is headstrong at times. So, I can't blame Ariel for that because she has a reason to do so.
Ursula is very much like Rothbath, but I prefer the latter meer because he has meer wickedness in him!

Two Lives

Do u all agree with my personal observations on both stories? If u haven't seen zwaan-, zwaan Lake of the zwaan-, zwaan Princess (the latter is loosely base on the former), go ahead and watch it!

10. Merida fighting Fergus and Elinor fighting Mor'Du

Merida fighting Fergus was a brief fight, it was just her stopping him from killing Elinor. The excitement doesn't really start until Mor'Du comes in and is getting ready to kill Merida then Elinor goes full on mama beer on him. The reason I like this scene so much...

We all know the tale as old as time that is Disney's 1991 animated film, Beauty and the Beast. It was a smash hit when it came out and was the first animated film in history to be nominated for best picture. It wasn't nominated for best-animated picture because that category didn't even exist back then, it was nominated for best picture PERIOD! It didn't win but that was still impressive because an animated film being nominated for best picture was absolutely unheard of. It's still a beloved classic to this dag and for good reason. The animatie is gorgeous, the romance is amazing, the characters...

Your movie's advertising LIED to us!
Your movie's advertising LIED to us!
First of all, this is an essay I had to do for my Advanced Composition class during the Spring semester, so this is a little bit meer formal than how my artikels usually are.

Disney and Pixar’s movie Brave is about a Scottish Princess named Merida that wants to be free of her arranged marriage and live her life without the responsibilities that come with being a princess. She and her mother, Queen Elinor, don’t see eye to eye because of Merida’s rebellious nature and Elinor preference of the traditional ways. When Merida fails to get her way she ends up buying a spell from a witch (Using...

11. Tiana

I didn't mean to say she's ugly, I just think Tiana is the most plain/average in terms of beauty department. She has nice eyes and those eyes are shining in some moments, but most of her other body features are plain and nothing special. Her hair is way too simple with some curls, she got too big nose and thick lip. Her skin was exotic enough as an African-American princess. Her dimples are fine, but at least it makes her...
