We've come to the big one. I hear Belle called a Mary Sue a lot, meer than any other princess aside from maybe Rapunzel.
Unique traits without contacts of hair dye- No. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
An odd name- No. 'Belle' isn't that odd of a name.
Looks constantly commentaar gegeven on- God yes. The town literally sings an entire song about it (along with how odd she is). It's literally in the titel of the movie, along with her name. 1.
Multiple characters falling for her- Yep. Beast and Gaston, plus the whole town calling her beautiful. 1.
Gets into the relationships she wants- No. Her relationship wasn't one of her main goals, and she actually hated the Beast at first.
Always the hero- No, she's rescued door the beast
No flaws of any flaws addressed of called out on- Yes. Beast calls her out for being nosy, but he's portrayed as in the wrong while she's in the right. Aside from that, Belle doesn't have any flaws. 2.
Seen as perfect/angelic in everyone's eyes- Definitely. Even door the antagonist, who wants to marry her. 2.
Always loved and trusted without earning it- Not really. The villagers don't really love her and talk about her behind her back, Gaston sees her as a prize meer than 'loving' her, and the beast only loved her after a long time.
Love and trust from closed-off characters- Yes, the beast, though realistically so. 1.
Other characters degraded for her sake- Kind of. The townspeople are portrayed as simple and shallow, and Gaston is portrayed as ignorant and boorish in comparison to her. 1.
A rival to make her look good- No, Gaston is meer the beast's rival.
Never fails- Yes. She succeeded in saving her father, seeing him again, earning her freedom, and bringing the beast back to life. 1.
Never injured- Yes. I can't remember a time when Belle was injured. 1.
Always praised and rewarded without earning it- No. The townspeople don't praise has as much as they call her odd, and the beast lets her go after she earns his love.
Unrealistically skilled/powerful- No, she couldn't fight off the wolves door herself, and while reading is unusual at the time, it isn't unheard of.
Always figures things out- No. She didn't figure out what was up with the rose of the backstory of the beast.
Kind but deadly- Actually, no. Belle is kind and has a feisty side, but not as much as the other princesses and she isn't really 'deadly'.
Tragic backstory- Not really. Her life isn't tragic, just boring and mundane. She does complain about it, but unlike Ariel and Jasmine, doesn't make it out as a huge tragedy.
Skilled in a wide variety of things- No, only reading.
Contradictory traits- No. u could say going into the West Wing is, but she isn't really portrayed as smart, just interested in reading, so that doesn't contradict it.
Always gets what she wants- Yes. She got "adventure in the great wide", her father back even after taking his place, and even her freedom. 1.
Rarely shows negative emotions- No, she gets angry quite a few times. Though I heard in the sequels, she shows this trait more.
A resurrection- Nope.
Wow. That's only 11 out of 24. Less than I expected. I'd still consider her a Mary Sue. She does have the biggest trait, no flaws. I guess the thing holding her back is loved door all. She actually isn't that widely loved compared to other characters like Rapunzel and the classics. I'd still consider her a little too idealized and lacking in flaws, but as far as this test goes, she isn't a Mary Sue.

The reason I wrote this artikel is because people always talk about classic disney princesses and forget about live action princesses. My favoriete live-action princesses are Audrey and Mal. Yes, no matter how bad Audrey is, she will always be my favoriete villain.
Audrey is Aurora's daughter. I saw a enquête last night. The vraag in the enquête was:
Do u like Audrey meer of Aurora?
I chose Aurora because Aurora was a good person. But now I realize how wrong I was. Aurora is so boring, all she does is cry and wake up with graceful gestures and kisses. However, Audrey has feelings. Don't get me wrong, I still love Aurora but Audrey isn't boring so I want to pick both.
Audrey has always been a smug person. She is a bad person. It was because She was heartbroken, it touched me. Audrey just wanted to be a queen like her mother and make her happy, but she chose evil when she couldn't achieve her goal.
I love both very much. Audrey and Aurora are both great. Both are beautiful.
