Don't get me wrong. I love the Disney Princesses. They are all wonderful characters that symbolize the beautiful animated films they represent. However, I have to wonder, would Disney executives be sending a better message to their young fans if they instead called the line Disney Heroines? The reason I say this is because there are so many wonderful animated women in our favourite Disney films that are excluded from this branch of Disney entirely. Luckily, Pocahontas and Mulan were made exceptions which I think was a much needed change. If every girl can be a princess, as one of the company's logos suggests, shouldn't all of the women who inspired us in an animated Disney film be recognized equally? Calling the line Disney Heroines wouldn't do any damage to the nine official princesses, they would still have their spot in the lineup. I just think that if all the focus wasn't on the "princess" aspect of the characters, kids would have a better chance of learning what's truly important. Because let's face it, meer little girls say they aspire to be like Aurora than Esmeralda. Some of the many strong and interesting women that starred in successful Disney films include: Esmeralda (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), Megara (Hercules) and Jane (Tarzan). If these characters and others I didn't mention were to be incorporated into the Disney Princess line, maybe little girls would respond meer to them and see a wider variety of characters to emulate. Unfortunately, the top-selling princesses tend to be the ones who wear big, glittery gowns and tiaras which is why Disney doesn't include them...proving that they really have lost sight of what Walt started the company for in the first place, which was not just to make money but to make dreams come true.
Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996) was a gorgeous gypsy who fought for racial justice and saw past Quasimodo's fearsome exterior.

Hi guys, I am currently watching a scene from The zwaan-, zwaan Lake ballet. I actually notice a number of similarities between the populair ballet and Disney's retelling of The Little Mermaid. Since some Ballet Company has tragic endings, I will also cover on the original Hans Christian Anderson's novel in this article!

The Story

Both stories revolve around 2 young heroines and how they meet their fate, Odette is actually a young girl who was suddenly turn into a zwaan-, zwaan upon meeting Rothbart, the evil sorcerer.
Now upon seeing this, it reminded me of when Ursula turns Ariel a human after she storms out...

The classic princesses are the heroines of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. This 3 films were made between 1937 and 1959, and they are the only "official" princesses made door Walt Disney.

In the recent years we have seen an evolution on the female characters after them, but are they really as bad as they seem? They aren´t.

The 3 films were made when women had less rights than men, and it was obviously a different mentality, but that doesn´t mean the characters itsef are sexist, they just live in sexist societies.

Snow White: Many people criticize Snow White for being...

10. Merida fighting Fergus and Elinor fighting Mor'Du

Merida fighting Fergus was a brief fight, it was just her stopping him from killing Elinor. The excitement doesn't really start until Mor'Du comes in and is getting ready to kill Merida then Elinor goes full on mama beer on him. The reason I like this scene so much...

This artikel is similar to MaidofOrleans' artikel but it has a unique twist. I started writing mine a few days before she geplaatst hers. So don't worry I'm not stealing her idea of anything. Plus she knows it's different from hers. We talked about it in her article's commentaar section.

Different perspectives - my past memories, my mum's memories, memories involving a friend, other fandom perspective and recent points of view.

Feel free to use my idea to make your own version if it inspires you. Just make sure u credit me please for the original idea.

Since the last 2 times Anna and Elsa went to a lake didn't work they decided to go an actual swimming pool this time.

Anna zei "The lakes have pretty aantal keer bekeken of nature, but u suggesting to go to a swimming pool is a better idea."

Elsa zei "Thank u Anna. I made sure to bring our swimsuits."

Anna replied "Thank goodness for that."

Anna and Elsa went to the female changing room and got on their swimsuits. Anna wore a green zwempak, badpak and Elsa wore a blue swimsuit.

Elsa gently went into the pool, but Anna jumped in. Anna zei "That was wicked fun."

Hi guys, I notice that there is no Viking princess, so here are my suggestions on how a Viking (or Norse) princess will look like.

1) Maria Lucia Rosenberg (Denmark)

The Danish Elsa, I personally think that she has the looks for a Viking princess, she has a bubbly personality and she's pretty too!

2) Trine Lundgaard Nielsen (Denmark)

Another Danish beauty here, She actually looks like Princess Aurora with that blonde hair and long bony face of hers.

3) Lisa Stokke (Norway)

Another Elsa from Norway, she has a very cute personality like Maria Lucia and she could be the third Norwegian princess after...

Hi guys, here is my theory on why Gaston insists on marrying Belle.

Childhood Sweethearts

Okay, this was my first reason on why Gaston insists on marrying Belle. The fact that he comes from an arrogant and snobbish family, he has this arrogance stuck in his head and Belle initially thought him as handsome from young until they grew up that Belle saw the light in him that he has a supersized ego and grew out of it!

Arrogance!

As mentioned, Gaston has a supersized ego due to his body build thanks to Arnold Schwarzenegger! He reminds me of a High School bully of Brom Bones from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
Speaking of him, maybe Brom Bones and Gaston are cousins of close friends!

Do u Agree?

Another Disney Doppelganger moment, do u agree that Brom Bones and Gaston are relatives of close vrienden of is it???
